"Aur bhego barish meh! Pata hai na aap ko ki aap kitne jaldi beemar ho jate hai phir bhi..." mukti scolded me like a mother and I just smiled admiring her.
"Has kya rahe ho? Chup chap dawai khao." she said and I made a bad face.
"Nah! I don't wanna have them. They are awaaak..!!chiiii!" I said and wined like a 5yr old kid.
Chi yaar I hate medicines😝 they are not even colourful...kitne gande aur dull color hote hai feel bhi bimaro wala dete hai ,gems are more better!!

"Ab bimar ho toh bimaro wali feel hi ayegi na!" Mukti sighed in disbelief.
"Did I say that aloud?" I asked sheepishly and she nodded exhaling a deep breath.
She always has a tough time controlling me when I am ill.
"No but I don't like the color upar se you know maine us din pada tha ki they are made up of plastic chiiii...apne bhai ko plastic khilake marongi" I said and mukti looked at me with horror.
"BHAI!!!"she shouted and I just frowned and turned my back to her and snuggled more into the comforter.
"You are impossible!" She sighed and went away.
"Accha hua tum aa gayi ab tum hi sambhalo inhe I am going to cabir's house... " I heard mukti speak .

I heard footsteps nearing me.
"Manik!" I heard a soft sweet voice and I smiled.

"Chashmish....acho!....aacha hua tum agayi samjao na mukti ko i don't like medicines...they are chii.....aaa....achoooo!!!!" I said sticking my tongue out.
"Manik tum medicines nahi loge toh thik kaise hoge.." she asked maintaining her calm and I smiled
"Tum hona apne aap hi thik hojaonga!!" She sighed and understood a bemar Manik is a hard nut to crack.
"Manik agar tumne yeh medicines nahi li na toh mujhe tumhe injection lagana padega." she said and my eyes widen in horror.
"Injection..." I said slowly gulping my saliva with a scared face and she nodded.
"No I don't want any injection!!" I exclaimed.
"Toh have this..." she said while handing me some dull blue,yellow and a white pill.
"Can I have gems instead?" I asked and she strictly nodded in negative.
"Apne bechare boyfriend ki help karo..these pills are bad ...gems are so good...so colourful!!....aaa..cho!!!" I said dreamingly.
"No color Nothing, Bemar hona? You have to have them warna main injection lati hu." she said and slowly stood up but I held her hand.
"Rehenedo... kitni jalim girlfriend ho!! tch tch tch....but still I feel gems are better they have so many colours pink, blue,purple and my favourite red!!" I said showing her my teeth but she just glared at me.
"You are bad" I said as I gulped the medicines and i made a horrible face i was about to puke when she started rubbing her hand on my back calming me.
"Chiiiii!!!!!! This is kadwa!!" I made a bad face.
"Tumhe thika nahi pasand tumhe kadwa nahi pasand toh tumhe pasand kya hai?" She asked as she supported her chin by her palm.
" I like something meeta....just like you." I said and moved closer to her lips.
"No!'' She pushed me gently.
"Manik you are ill, behave!" She warned
"Tum log sab-b .....acho!... gande ho." I said wipping my nose.
"Hah now sleep!" She said making me lie down.
As she was about to leave I held her hand
"maat jao!"
Her expression softened on seeing my vulnerable condition and she settled caressing my head and placed a kiss on my forehead.

I stirred in my sleep when I heard the door ring.
"How is he? Is he fine...? Thik toh hojayenge na?" I heard Mukti say but still kept my eyes close.
"Ya he will be fine. Just make him take the medicines for 2 days...I have prescribed a syrup also... it's on the table." this time chashmish spoke.
"Thank youuuu!!" Mukti said and hugged her.
"Take care of him and you too. Don't take stress. People tend to be very irritated when they are sick! Its happens..." chashmish said assuring her and Mukti nodded.

The chair besides me scratched against the floor.
I felt a pair of lips on my forehead and opened my eyes to find some tears in mukti's eyes.
"Bohot tang karta hu na meh tumhe?" I questioned wipping her tears and she just moved her head in negative.
"Bus..worried for you. Jaldi thik hojayega." she said with tears still brimming in her eyes..
"Mat karo meri itni chinta.."
"Kaise na karooo!!" She asked raising her eyesbrow and i smiled.

"Manikkkkk!!!" Cabir shouted as he barged in the house
Mukti quickly wiped her tears and smiled.
"Cabirrrr!!!" I mimicked him.
"Yeh meh kya sun raha ho?" He said placing his hands on his hips
"Kya?" I looked at him confused.
"Akele akele barish meh cham cham cham kar raha tha tu....." he said and I wanted to hide in embarrassment.
"Aree..cabir yeh akela kaha tha nandu jo thi iske sath." Alya said as she entered.
"Sahi hai... Nandini aur Manik cham cham cham...!" Dhruv said with a smirk.
