It didn't take long for me to jump in the shower, wash and be done already, seeing as here on the island there aren't as many luxury commodities as there is over at Auradon. Where prissy princesses spend hours on end getting ready, I swiftly dried my body and pulled on the clothes that I changed out of earlier before my training session.
The sun was already beginning to set, past the thick black clouds which hung over the isle reminding us of how horrible our island is- not that we need many reminders, just take a look around. It had only been around four days since Mal left for Auradon, yet we have had no notification if she has been able to pull our mother's plan off. Within the next few days, the young prince's coronation will be held, which is most likely when she will be planning the maneuver to take place as that's probably when the magic wand will be used.
She has got to hope that she has it in her self to steal fairy godmother's magic wand if not, Mom's not gonna be too happy and she WILL find a way to get to Mal.
"Hey, Elle? You good?" I heard Uma call from outside the door
"Yeah, come in!" I called back as I gently pulled a small seashell comb through my hair. The door creaked opened and Uma made her way into her bedroom, sitting down on her bed watching me brush my hair
"You gonna be long? Lover boy down there is getting needy" She chuckled before leaning back against the wall and crossing one leg over the other
"Shut up" I giggled, continuing to comb my hair
"It's true, you seriously gotta do something about it! It's almost painful watching both of you pawn over the other so hard but not doing anything about it" She huffed and threw her hands in the air
"I'm not making the first move" I stated, stubbornly as I turned around to face her, placing the comb down on her dresser and pulled my pirate coat on over my white shirt
"Then don't deny him!" She exclaimed, making me laugh
"When the time comes, I will," I told her before we both began to make our way down the steps and back towards the main room of the shop
"And finally! The princess emerges!" Harry announced as we walked through the doors, he already had his signature smirk plastered across his face- he really knows how to make me melt, doesn't he?
"Sorry babe, still too fabulous for you" I joked, flicking my hair over my shoulder and sauntering over to him. Harry was sitting on the opposite side of the bar table on one of the rickety wooden stools with his head leaned against one hand- as if he was daydreaming towards me, whilst twirling his silver hook in his other hand
"Wanna leave?" He murmured to me
"Awe but I like it here" I giggled, teasing him- by now I'm almost positive that he knows that I like him and he has seemed to learn from yesterday when our first kiss was almost shared in Ursula's fish and chip shop surrounded by dozens of rowdy pirates.
"Too bad" He smirked as he reached his hands over the top of the bar and around my waist, gently hauling me over the top of the table and onto the other side
"Harry!" I laughed whilst he continued to lead me out towards the exit of the shop
"Bye Uma!" I called back who said her goodbyes to use too before being forced by her mother to get back to her chores with the shop, I sort of felt bad for her being made to do all of this by herself- with just a few other workers but she was one of the most feared on the isle so she simply brushes it all off.
"Harry where are we going?!" I asked him, we wondered through the different alleyways through the isle, causing little bits on havoc here or there. I snatched a girls bag making me laugh as she shrieked at the shock, I threw it over to Harry who ended up throwing the loop around someone's head and letting everyone else sort it out. We did the little things like steal, trip people up or just simply shouting and making the lower down commoners, shrivel aways from us- God I loved being evil.
We ended up strolling around the isle, making our way up to bargain castle before swiftly changing our minds and around to the corner, I decided to climb up to a rooftop which I used to spend a lot of my childhood.
I reached up to a half cracked- yet still sturdy window sill and pulled the rest of my body up, my left foot holding most of my body weight in a small gap then grabbing onto a broken neon light of which I could use to make the rest of my way up
"Where are you going?!" Harry shouted from the bottom of the building
"Come on! The view's great" I joked with him and stood up, looking over the edge at him still
"You really expect me to be able to climb up there?" He called, eyeing the wall suspiciously
"It's not that hard, I've been climbing it since I was small," I told him and rolled my eyes. He took a small step towards the wall, placing his hood in one of his trouser loops and grabbing onto the same ledge that I did
"You're doing it! Now put your foot in that crevice" I praised him and once he was able to reach the top- as he is noticeably taller than me, he pulled himself up onto the roof just as I did.
"Do you like it?" I asked as I pointed over towards the dock, you couldn't see much as it was so dark, there really isn't much electricity on the isle but you could see the faint glow of the lights strewn around Ursula's fish and chip shop and a warm orange glow which lit up the docks so people don't fall in as midnight was prime time here unlike in Auradon. Most islanders sleep within the day due to the thick dark cloud covering the isle, we don't get much sunlight especially in winter.
I glimpsed back towards Harry, expecting to see him looking over to his home just as I was but instead, his attention was cast directly towards me. This small yet charming gesture instantly caused my cheeks to redden with a thick blush
"I love the view" He disclosed to me, making my cheeks flare the deep shade of red once more but thankfully the dark of the night was steadily seeping in and it was much harder to see me- although, we were both raised up here, we had good eyesight in the dark.
"Honestly Ellie, do you know what it has been like for the past few years of you living with me?" He confessed
I glanced up towards him as I was previously staring intently at the fragmented pebbles and overgrown moss among the bottom of the roof
"You being within arms reach of me, every moment, but for me not being able to call you mine. When I just want to protect you from all of the dangers on the isle, to be with you each night whenever your mother kicked you out and you were forced to sleep under the stars as you didn't want to disturb me, but not being able to all the things a couple would do because we were just 'friends'?" He told me, so every time Uma told me about Harry, it was true?
I sincerely thought that only I was the one feeling this way about my best friend, I thought that it was wrong to see someone in that way whilst all they thought of me was friendship and loyalty?
"I know the same feeling" I related as he gently placed the palm of his hand in the small space along my jawbone and tilted my head closer towards his
"Then why won't you kiss me?" He muttered, I felt my breath hitch in my lungs as his closeness began to make me become nervous. I slowly closed my eyes and turned away from him
"Because dating isn't a thing, we're forced to live a hell, Harry" I confessed, beginning to take a step away from him- trying to tear myself away. Maybe it just isn't meant to be, we're villains! We don't get to experience happiness like this, we aren't meant to feel true love.
"They might have confined us to a hell, it doesn't stop us from attempting to get as close to a fairytale life as they have. We can choose our own futures" He explained, maybe he is right? They're over in Auradon and we are stuck on the isle, there is nothing they can do to break the once chance us Islanders have at happiness.
"Then I choose you, Harry Hook, I choose happiness" I whispered, turning back around to face him as he instantly leaned in to kiss me.
His lightly chapped lips brushed against my own until I finally couldn't wait any longer and pulled him closer towards me, the rapid beat of my heart echoed through my head, as he replaced his hand to where it used to be and I could feel the cool touch of his silver hook against the small of my back.
As we parted, he leaned his forehead against my own
"So will you? Be mine?" He muttered, out of breath slightly
"Hmm, I don't know" I teased as our lips brushed once more, feeling more confident now we were finally together.

I honestly really like this story and really want to continue it but I feel as if nobody is reading this and actually liking this so there won't be much point to continue :(
