the hanging of shoes of the tree symbolizes a person's death, specifically the owner of the shoes. Jin did not have shoes on in the WINGS concept photo.Jimin was seen holding the shoes by the seaside. In the Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa PROLOGUE the boys went to the sea which was in Jin's Polaroid photo.In the last scene, Jin views the Polaroid Namjoon took of Suga and Jin, but finds only himself in the picture. In the RUN MV, Jimin burns away the Polaroid which has only six members, excluding Jin.
Therefore, Jin is no longer with the members. Jin is dead.
