Students keep commenting nasty things about him after the first person started insulting him.
Taehyung lowered his head and continued walking.
"Yah! Are you ignoring me?!"
The guy walked faster and pushed him on the ground.
Taehyung stayed on the floor before it gets worse if he stands up. He balled his fists trying to stay silent and not to fight back, in the end, he'll end up hurting.
"What? Are you mad now, faggot? You wanna punch me? Huh? Huh?"
The guy keeps provoking him but he only looks up and met the raven's mocking eyes.
Jungkook raises his brow and laughs with his friends. He enjoys bullying students, especially an easy target like Kim Taehyung.
JUNGKOOK
The kid Taehyung didn't utter any word before and after we left him on the floor of the hallway.
It was fun. Teasing him and pushing him here and there.
He is known in our school, for being gay.
There are so many gay couples in campus but I also don't know why he's the target of bullies, including me.
I guess because he's single and no knight and shining armor will save his sorry ass? Or maybe he's just too submissive that he can't protect himself.
Anyway, I don't care about him. He's just someone I find it fun to tease, always.
"Hey, Guk. Wanna play basketball later?"
Mingyu asks while still playing with his phone.
"Sure. Who'll be there?"
"Just us, Bambam and Yugyeom. Some other seniors and sophomores might join us."
Mingyu continued playing.
"Aah, finally. Time to play basketball, guys!"
Bambam exclaimed after our professor dismissed the class.
Bambam, Yugyeom, Mingyu and I started walking towards the basketball court on the campus.
Yugyeom keeps dribbling the ball while we're walking and joking around.
We turned to another corner when we saw a group of students surrounding someone.
"Hey, I heard you're gay? So how's it being gay?"
One of the guys pushed the blonde boy and his back hit the wall with a thud.
Out of curiosity, we all stayed there in silence watching what's happening and what's gonna happen.
"Hey, isn't that Taehyung?"
Yugyeom whispered not to gain attention from the other group.
I furrowed my brows and looked closely. He's right. It's Taehyung.
What a poor creature.
I chuckled and shook my head slightly.
"Let's go. We should be playing basketball now."
I said and started walking again and passing by the bullies and Taehyung like I didn't see them at all.
My friends followed and no one spoke until we reached the court.
"Don't you think we should help him?"
Mingyu asks with a worried face.
I looked at him with a furrow.
"Why should we help that thing?"
I asked and didn't bother hiding my annoyance.
"Jungkook, he's a person, not a thing."
Yugyeom added.
It made me angry that they're defending him.
"Why the fuck are you defending that shit now?"
"Hey, hey. Calm down, guys. We shouldn't be fighting."
Bambam interrupted.
I am still annoyed and it made me angrier when I turned and found that 'thing' walking and limping. He's walking so slowly like he wanted to parade himself in front of us.
He's getting on my nerves.
I grabbed the ball Yugyeom was holding and walked closer to him.
"Jungkook, what are you doing?"
Mingyu's worried voice irritated me.
When I was just a meter or two away from him, I aimed and hit him with the ball I am holding.
Gotcha!
I smirked when I hit him in the head and he fell on his knees while holding his head.
"Jungkook!"
"Taehyung!"
My friends shouted from the back but I didn't look back and stared at the 2 boys approaching him.
"What the hell is your problem?"
The guy with sharp eyes shouted at me but his stare passed me and my friends came beside me.
"Taehyung, are you okay?"
The other guy with high-pitched voice asks.
He nodded but had his eyes closed.
"Stay away from my friend!"
The first guy shouted again but he wasn't glaring exactly at me but...Mingyu?
"Wonwoo, it wasn't like that."
Mingyu's desperate voice echoed in the court.
"Don't ever come near me or my friends!"
The guy, Mingyu called Wonwoo, and the other guy helped him stand up and started walking away.
"Who the fuck are those guys?"
I asked but no one answered.
I turned to look at them and they were all looking at me.
"What?"
"Don't you think you went too far, Jungkook?"
Mingyu's voice is mad.
"Jungkook, I wasn't saying anything when you tease and push Taehyung around like everyone else does but today, I think you crossed the line."
Bambam added.
"What the fuck is wrong with you, guys?!"
"No. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, JUNGKOOK?!"
Yugyeom shouted in an angry tone making me shut my mouth.
"I am your bestfriend, Jungkook. We are your friends but what you just did is too much. You're making no difference of those low life bullies who hurt weaker ones."
Yugyeom continues.
I kept quiet. Am I wrong?
"And yeah, Jungkook..."
Mingyu stopped walking and looks back at me.
"I don't know what will happen after this but that guy awhile ago, his name is Wonwoo. And I like him."
I was shocked. Mingyu likes a guy?
When and how did it happen?
He left after that with Yugyeom and Bambam just remaining silent.
"We should go home and cool down. We also need to prepare for the trip tomorrow."
Yugyeom pats my shoulder and left, Bambam following him.
Everything happened so fast.
I don't know but guilt started filling me up.
I went closer to the basket and played for awhile but every shoot I make fails to enter the basket.
I grabbed another ball and throw it with force to the basket. It created a loud banging sound.
How did I become like this? Am I like those bullies they've mentioned?
I probably just need some rest and everything will be fine.
Friends fight from time to time. Maybe I'm just not used to this since this is our first real fight.

Mingyu is still treating me coldly. I was kinda worried to approach him.
I don't care about the fact he indirectly admitted he's gay for the Wonwoo guy but I'm worried he's still mad for what I did.
The rest of our friends knew what happened. They seem to be mad at me and I don't know what to do.
"Okay, now. Get your keys here and you have to share a room with someone because we're too many."
The professor in charge spoke with a loud voice.
The students slowly left the hall as they got their keys and partners. Only a few students were left, including my group.
"Mingyu and Wonwoo!"
The teacher called.
I looked at Mingyu, he's looking at Wonwoo who didn't even spare a glance.
"Sir, can I switch rooms? I will stay with anyone except him."
Wonwoo raised his hand and requested.
I saw pain flash on Mingyu's face.
"I'm sorry, but everything is already arranged. I can't change partners now. Please get your keys here."
The teacher answered but the look of Mingyu didn't change a bit.
"Next, Taehyung and Jungkook!"
