Dev's POV
I entered my house and found Bunty busy snoring on my sofa. I poked his head with my knee...
"Uth oye!! Get up"
"Arey Sheena sone de yaar." Bunty mumbled in his sleep.
"Sheena??" Last time I knew he was dating someone called Rani. When did Sheena enter his life?
As I was busy decoding his girlfriend algorithm Bunty tossed on the couch & fell flat on the floor.
"Aaahh" He shouted. He squinted his eyes for a while & then looked up at me. "Its you?"
"Naah ... It's not me ... It's Sheena's ghost inside my body" Sonakshi's weird horrors films are affecting me man.
Bunty blushed a little while I said Sheena's name.
"Bunty bhai tu blush kar raha hai?" I couldn't hide my amusement in my voice. "By the way what happened to Rani?"
"Rani ki kahani to purani ho gayi. We broke up!" His casual reply reminded me of the way Sona describes her break up. Nachiket may have told his friend circle that Sona ka rona to purana ho gaya
"You change your girlfriends more often than you change your under garments by the way!" I commented "So who is this new girl?"
"Sheena .... Sheena ... Sheena" Bunty took her name in different tones
"Tu naam japta reh ... I'm going to sleep." I started getting up.
"Mat jaa Wait Stop ... I'm telling you ... She is the daughter of the owner of the departmental store on the other side of the road."
"Do you even know something about her? How can you fall for her just like that?"
"Look who's talking!!! As if you learned Sona's entire janampatri before announcing that you have fallen in love with her."
"Theek hai. Bhadak kya raha hai?Tu bhi kuch nahi jaanta Sheena ke baare me."
"Atleast I know that she is younger than me. Tell me what is Sonakshi's age."
"Her age .... Her age ... Well its just a number😅"
Bunty started clapping dramatically.
"Dekha Dev" He said "Accept it you don't know any FACTS about her."
I nodded admitting it but then an idea struck my brain!
"Bunty.... You are my bro cum best friend right ...."
"I'm so not having a good feeling about what you are going to say."

Sona's POV
I came back home for a day. My 2nd Qualifier is in two days & I was feeling a little home sick so I thought of visiting home but I didn't knew another audition was going on here! My mom is looking for her new maid. She has rejected about 27 house helps till now & I doubt whether we are going to get a new maid or not.
I was sitting lazily on the sofa when Dadi came & sat next to me.
"Shona beta.... I'm a little upset with you." She said & I started wondering about what I had done.
"Dadi? But what is my mistake?"
"You didn't bring Dev Dixit home."
From Elena to Dadi & even Sourabh Da everyone is interested in knowing about me & Dev. We are just good friends but everyone is behaving as if we are secretly dating each other.
Baba is still not talking to me like he did earlier. I didn't knew that the clips of the auditions are going to go on air as commercials for the show & Baba saw me singing on TV. He was hell angry & had come to the sets that day to take me back home but I guess he got impressed after seeing my performance & so I am not being stopped from participating. Still I miss the way he used to pamper me & call me Shona Beta ... I miss my Baba.
Well that's my life nothing can be JUST PERFECT in one go.
I quietly sat next to maa to see her audition. She looked tired & was not able to find her ideal house help.
"Maa ... Do you want coffee?"
Before Maa could reply I heard a voice shout...
"Aap kahe ko coffee banayegi re madam? Babli bai hai na."
& I swear I could hear the background music play.

The house help tucked her saree in her waist & she walked rather cat walked towards maa. She wore a typical Maharashtrian saree. Her hair were up in a neat bun which was decorated with a gajra.
"Agoo baai!!! Mai hu Babli bai ... I'll work as your maid ... Jhadu pocha bartan kapde sab saaf karti hai mai"
"Maa she looks promising" I said
Maa nodded & went ahead with her interview. When Maa was convinced with Babli she appointed her as the new maid. Before leaving Babli looked at me & said
"Deva!! Tu wo TV wali ladki hai na ... Tera audition dekhi mai TV par ... Khoob chaan!! Bahut aage jaayegi re tu."
"Thank you" I smiled listening to her compliment.
"Chota muh badi baat bolti hu maidam ... Umm chota aadmi samajh ke maaf kar dena bura lage to ... Aapki umar jaan sakti hai kya mai?"
Now this was strange still I told her my age.
"Tab to theek hai 1-2 saal ka difference chalta hai."
"Excuse me?" I didn't get what she was saying. Still I like Babli Bai ... There is something funny about her😉

Tomorrow is my second qualifier & I insisted on staying bit longer than the others for my stage practice. Dev is staying with me after my pop corn night with him I prefer calling him Dev than Dev Sir now. Even he calls me Sona.
"I guess its enough for today Sona... Let me drop you back" Although I wanted to practice a little more but sensing fatigue in his tone I dropped the idea.
"Water?" He offered me his sipper.
"Can't I get this in a glass?"
"Ufff ... Why are girls so demanding?"
"Girls are not demanding."
"Didn't you demand now?"
"I just asked Mr. Dixit"
"Girls are so confusing!"
"Boys just have pea sized brains."
His phone rang & though he didn't speak much but his teeth started shining like those in the happydent ad.
"Ki holo? Who was it?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Kichu nai Ms. Bose" He said "It was Bunty ... I've got some work."
"You know how to speak Bengali!!"
"Umm ... A little bit there is this lovely girl in my neighbourhood KaFeIn43 who keeps on giving Bengali classes to Pranju22 ... Wahi se thoda bahut."
"Hmmm if it is so then Hum bhi Badri ki Dulhaniya dekhe hai aap Aami tumi boliye aur hum aapse hum kehke baat karenge."
"Badri ki dulhania? You see normal movies too?"
"Yes ... Do you have any problem with that?"
"No madam not at all."
"Chalein fir? Aren't you getting late?"
"Yes ... Let's leave then."

Dev's POV
I rushed back home & found a woman dressed in Marathi attire sitting casually in my dining area & munching on my apples.
"Who are you?"
The woman looked back with an angry glare.
"Waah beta!! You made Bunty Baba Babli Bai & now you are asking who am I?"
"That rhymed yaar Bunty." I tried to lighten his mood. "What's the news?"
"She lives in Navi Mumbai & has a family of 6. She has her super cool Dadi, super strict Baba, super sweet Maa, super fat Sourabh Da & super hot sister Elena"
"Na"
"What na?"
"I'm saying focus on SheeNA & not EleNA. Now what is the big news?"
"I found this"
Bunty took out a red colour diary & flipped it.
"Devu Darling ... I've found Sona Bhabhi's diary. Here it is."
Honestly saying I was excited to see Sona's diary is an understatement but first I needed to shoo Bunty away so that I can read her diary in peace.
"Bunty reading a girl's diary is bad manners. Give it to me."
"Keep it & don't show these fake manners. I won't disturb you in your reading session" Bunty left the dining area along with my apples & I began reading the diary.
I opened the diary & found this:

I realised that it wasn't a proper diary but a collection of her thoughts through poetry. Flipping through the pages I found another one
In the shades of pink my life is getting drenched
Slowly but steadily my thirst is getting quenched
To fill my pot holes
He has entered my life ...
To give it a new direction

It seems she tried writing after her break up but ended up scribbling & cutting only.

According to my calculations this one is of the day of her audition. She wrote after a long gap & this seems a little childish.
The next one's title made me a jumping jack.
The helmet hero ...
Soldiers have their uniforms ...

Making my cold life warmer ...
I wish he stands by me forever
But I know that immortality & forever are just concepts ...
I wish I could keep this hope intact...
Gosh!! Shona ...wait ... are you star fantasizing??? Stupid thoughts ... shut them down ... Shut this damn book down
She stopped her poetry in between with these lines. This book was at her home so she must have written this before the qualifiers. Still I wonder what will be the fate of our relationship? She's too scared to give love another chance & I freak out at the thought of loosing her.
That's it.
I've got a 5 days off so I thought of updating. I will reply to your comments from this & the previous update together.
