Chapter 27
Amy's POV
5 days later
"So I've read some of your reports on the debate we had last week and I must say you are all lacking in substance. I failed all of you meaning you must re-do the report again, you fail again and you will do it again until you pass" Mrs Edwards scolds us all in Heath and religion class the usual making everyone groan and sigh at how hard she is on us. I huff before standing up and packing my stuff.
"Amy where do you think your going?" Mrs Edwards snaps at me causing the whole class to look at me. I hate this bitch I swear she is out to kill me.
"I'm not staying here when I worked my ass off on that paper only for you to throw it back in my face saying I don't know shit" I snap as I push my chair under the desk. I swear she gets a kick out of making us all feel dumb as fuck. The whole class sniggers and some 'Ooo's' are echoed round the class.
"Excuse me?" She slams the papers down on her desk looking ever so shocked. Like I fucking care. I really am not in the mood for her shit right now.
"You heard me and if you think I'm writing that report again you can fucking think again" I snap as walk through the desks to get the door as people laugh at her reaction to my outburst.
"Watch your language!" She yells at me and I flip her off as I open the door and walk out slamming the door behind me.
If you hadn't realised I hate the bitch.
I was having a great day before her class and I cannot even stand to hear her voice never mind the fact she talks to us all like shit. I'm actually sick of her and my outburst was well overdue. I walk down the empty hallway and into the principles office knowing I would probably be sent here anyway.
"Hi I would like switch classes from Mrs Edwards please" I say to the receptionist.
"Your name?" She gives me smile.
"Amy West" I tell her and she paused for a minute looking at the computer screen. I look around the reception room and see a kid in the corner looking awfully pissed off making me laugh. He reminds me of Harry in away when I first met him, always getting himself into trouble and always had a moody look on his face. Actually he usually has a moody look on his face to be honest. I remember when Harry and Klaus used to make fun of me all the time and how things have changed so much in the past few months.
"I'm sorry but we are too far into this semester to transfer you to another class" the receptionist says catching my attention. Fuck sake.
"What? No honestly I can't stay in that class any longer she hates me! I will drop the class and do nothing if I have too but please there must me something you can do" I plead with her trying my hardest to get away from Mrs Edwards.
"I'm sorry you'll have to talk to the principle" she tells me and I groan.
"Fine I will" I tell her and she laughs.
"He doesn't have any time today can you come back next week if your that desperate?" She says and my mouth drops. How can he be that busy?
"Next week? You know what forget it" I shake my head at her sighing before turning to leave. As I go to turn around I feel myself crash into somebody before I see that my top is drenched in what I think is water. Are you fucking serious?
"Oh god I'm so sorry" I hear the guy apologise sincerely as he hangs his mouth open in shock. The guy looks a little older than me with dark hair, very tall and bulky with piercing green eyes. He's Fucking hot.
"You've got to be kidding me" I mutter under my breath as I hold the wet shirt away from my skin trying to dab it a little to know avail.
"I'm so sorry I didn't even see you" he says again and I smile.
"Uh- no it's fine honestly" I try tell him when actually my day couldn't be going any worse right now.
"I'm Derek-" he says and I nod as I shake his hand politely.
"You must be new I've never seen you here before" I say making him frown a little.
"Oh actually I'm here for my brother he got into some trouble and it's a long story as to why I'm here but no I don't go here" he says and I nod as he points to moody looking guy a notice before in the corner.
"Oh right sorry" I say trying not to laugh at his brother. They look very similar.
"I didn't catch your name" he says as I'm about to walk away from him.
"I'm Amy" I tell him and he smiles. Why is he so hot? What the actual hell?
"Well I'm really sorry about before maybe I could make it up to you sometime?" He says with a a cheeky grin on his lips making me smile.
"Sure, find my number and I'm sure we can plan something" I say as I back away from him.
"Or you could just give me it..." he shouts over to me from across the reception earning dirty looks from the receptionist.
"A little graft never hurt anyone" I say to him and I see he smiles as I turn to walk away from him. Sometimes it's better to have boys chasing you rather than just giving into them so easily. Well actually how can I say that after what happened with Harry?
Harry.
We haven't really seen each other a lot since the other day. He texted me a few times but we never got really round to talking. I've been so busy at work lately at the bar doing extra shifts because I'm trying to pay for a flight home to see my parents when they get back from there cruise. I've seen him in the halls a few times but he's always with Klaus and it's too risky talking to him in front of him. I'm starting to miss Harry in a way though and especially after the other day I feel like that first kiss obviously wasn't just a random kiss if it happened again and went further. I can't help but think about how he makes me feel and how good he was to me. He's not the same person I thought he was a few months ago for sure. I still haven't told anyone about anything that's happened between us recently not even Jade even though she's very skeptical about my behaviour. I don't know if Harry had told anyone but I don't think he would risk Klaus finding out to be honest. Harry wasn't in Mrs Edwards class before and neither was Klaus, they probably bunked off together. My thoughts are interrupted when my phone rings.
Jade.
"Hey what's up?" I answer the phone.
"Dinner tonight you in?" She says and I smile. Food? Of course I'm in.
"Yeah of course where?" I ask.
"Our's, we are going to order a tonne of shit for Niall's birthday all the lads have agreed but it's a surprise so don't say anything" she tells me and I nod.
"Sounds good, what time is everyone coming over?" I ask.

"Okay I'm on my way home anyway" I tell her.
"I thought you have double health and religion today?" She questions and I roll my eyes before pushing a par of double door open into the next hallway.
"I walked out, I fucking can't stand that woman" I say and she laughs.
"Amy your supposed to be getting your grades up not walking out of one of your most important classes" she tries to scold me and I roll my eyes.
"Yeah well I'm sick of her shit and I give up" I say.
"You never fail to surprise me" she laughs as I see the doors at the end of the hallway open revealing a happy looking Klaus and Harry.
"Look I gotta go I'll see you in like 20 minutes" I say to her as Klaus waves at me. Klaus and I sorted things out and things aren't great but there better than us arguing all the time. Harry smiles at me and I can't help but blush a little. This would be the first time we would see each other properly and be able to talk face to face since the weird antics that happened between us the other day.
"Okay see you later" she says and I put the phone down.
"Look who's skipping class" Klaus laughs at me as they both stop in front of me. I can't help but notice that Harry looks the same as usual, black jean and black tops and boots. Not that I'm complaining. Now I realise why I didn't give Derek my number because he doesn't really compare to Harry.
"Your one to talk" I say.
"Actually-" I cut Klaus off as I realise he's gonna make some sly comment.
"I don't care Klaus" I say and he rolls his eyes as I see how Harry is smirking out the corner of my eye.
"Woah someones moody today" Klaus jokes and playfully glare at him.
"Why is your shirt wet?" Harry asks and I look down seeing that my white shirt is completely exposing my nipples. Why do I feel the need to not where bras recently. I quickly put my hands over chest covering my nipples up as I hope they hadn't noticed.
"This guy split his drink on me in the reception and now my shirt is see through, great. My day just keeps getting better" I sigh as I turn around and pull my denim jacket over me which luckily cover my breasts.
"Maybe you should start wearing bras in case that happens again" Harry says and Klaus sniggers.
"Probably should but probably won't" I say whilst rolling my eyes.
"By the way you guys have to redo your reports for Mrs Edwards class" I tell them and they both laugh.
"I didn't even do the first one" Harry says and Klaus laughs at him nodding.
"Typical" I roll my eyes and he cheekily winks at me.
"Wait so why are you skipping?" Klaus asks.
"I walked out cause she pissed me off and I tried to switch classes but now I can't and I'm stuck with the bitch" I moan and they both try it the laugh.
"Fucking hell" Klaus sniggers.
"You haven't mentioned anything to Niall about it tonight have you?" Harry's asks and I shake my head.
"No I didn't even know about till like five seconds ago" I tell him.
"Oh, well I think it's a good idea to be honest" Klaus says and I nod.
"Yeah it will be fun, anyway I gotta go Jade's waiting for me at home" I say as I push through the two of them heading towards the doors.
"Your leaving?" Klaus frowns and I turn around.
"Uh yeah"
"Your walking?" He adds and I frown.
"Yes why?" I ask
"It's raining" Harry's says and I sigh.
"What? Fuck" I mutter under my breath.
"I could drop you back?" Harry offers and Klaus nods.
"You don't have to" I tell him. Please take me home! Is what I'm actually thinking.
"Well I wouldn't want to walk in that rain, take her back and I'll meet you later?" Klaus tells him as they do this 'bro hug' thing.
"Alright come on" Harry says as we walk towards the doors. We walk out the doors and I see Harry's car on the street and we both agree to make a run for it as the sky is practically throwing buckets of water and hail stone at us. We both jump in the car drenched from the rain and out breath, well I am cause I'm so unhealthy. Fuck it.
"So..." I sigh as we set off in an awkward silence.
"So..." he repeats.
"You skipped class" I say and he nods keeping his eyes on the road.
"Yep, couldn't be bothered" he shrugs and I don't really know what to say. Is he being off with me?
"Oh" I say as I look out my window.
"Well your being awfully awkward" he laughs and I frown.
"Well so are you" I hit back at him.
"Well I don't mean to be" he apologises glancing over at me.
"Neither do I" I say before looking back out the window.
"It doesn't have to be awkward" he says and I roll my eyes. You could say that again.
"I know" I say and he laughs.
"Then talk to me then" he cheekily smiles at me making me turn away trying to hide my blushed cheeks. How does he have that affect on me with any little bullshit thing he does?
"Fine how are you?" I ask and he rolls his eyes.
"No not small talk I think we are past that" he says and I shrug.
"What do you want you want to talk about?" I sigh. What do we have to talk about? What are the right things to say?
"Anything"
"Well my Mom called me yesterday" I say. My Mom loves Harry and I swear he fancies my Mom. It's kinda creepy.
"She did?" He glances at me.
"Yeah she's back from her cruise and wants to have a family get together" I tell him, recalling the conversation I had with her.
"My favourite" he smiles and I roll my eyes.
"Your not invited" I say.
"I'm always invited I'm like the fourth child" he says giving me a cheeky smile and I roll my eyes again at him.
"Anywayyyy, apparently she and my dad are buying a new house closer to here" I say and he nods.
"That will be nice" he says and I shrug.
"I guess"
"Your not happy about it?" He frowns looking at me weirdly.
"I don't know, it's my childhood home why would they want to move?" I say. With all the memories we all have there it's hard to hear them say they want to move.
"Maybe they want to downsize seen as its only them two now?" He says and I nod sheepishly.
"But it's my home and I couldn't imagine them anywhere else" I say.
"It will be a good change for them" he's encourages and I smile.
"I guess so"
"Look at my mum, she downgraded as soon as I left and it was the best thing she ever did" he tells me and I nod.
"I've never met your mum, does she visit often?" I ask and he nods.
"Whenever she can she does and whenever I can I go back there" he says. I knew Harry was a Mommy's boy from Klaus always says about him and i find that really sweet.
"Would you ever move back?" I ask and he shakes his head immediately.
"No, I have so many better things going on here than I do over there and I know my mum would tell me the same" he says and I smile.
"She seems lovely"
"You'd like her" he glances at me and I smile back at him.
"When are you next seeing her?" I ask. He never really talks much about his family but to honest I never ask.
"I'm planning to go see her for her birthday in like a month" he tells me and I nod.
"Oh that's nice" I say and he smiles at me.
"Your being awfully nice to me" he says giving me a cheeky wink.
"What you like me being nasty to you?" I frown.
"Keep it in the sheets and your answer would be yes" he says and I smack his arm as he laughs at my shocked expression.
"I can't believe you just said that!" I try to laugh at his little comment but can't help it.
"I'm only kidding" he says whilst laughing.
"I'll believe that for a second" I say giving him a playful glare.
"Your blushing!" He pokes me in the arm as he laughs at me.
"I am not!" I say before smacking his arm making him laugh as I open the car door noticing we are home.
"What do I not get a goodbye kiss?" He stops me giving me a cheeky smile and I raise my eyebrows.
"Do you think you deserve one?" I ask him and he shrugs.
"Yes"
"Well too bad, thanks for the ride" I say as I jump out of car as he laughs lightly shaking his head. I close the door and he drives away beeping his horn in a tune making me laugh. Why is he in such a playful funny mood? It was weird seeing him like that and it was nice.
