2 in the morning
Louis POV
I open my eyes slowly and looks around . Where am I ? Why it's soo dark here ? I wanted to lift my arms but someone held it gently that makes me look who is sitting beside me . There was a mop of curls and I smiled , my hazza . I held his hands too hard that makes Harry wakes up . He yawns and run his finger over his hair .
Then he looks at me and his smiled gets wider and wider " Louis ! " he said and kiss me in the lips . I couldn't help but I miss his lips against my lips . It's amazing . We kissed till my heart beat monitor warns us so that's make Harry let go of my lips " welcome back love ! " he grins and look at his watch " baby , it's only 2 in the morning . Why did you wake up ? " he chuckles and took my hand in his .
I actually forgot as why did I wake up . Oh my left side is hurting me and I'm also thirsty " give me water first " my voice crack at the end and Harry quick to give me a glass of water , I drank it greedily that I literally drank all of it . Harry smiled at my action and took the glass away from me " do you want more ? " he asked gently , I shook my head .
" is there any nurse that is awake by this time ? " I asked him and lays my back on my bed again " I'm not sure love , do you need something? Are you hurt ? " he asked worries clear in his tone , I gave him a small smile and said " my side is hurting me so that's what makes me awake , but it's okay tho , I can handle the pain till tomorrow " i assure him with a smile , he frowns and get up then press the red button beside my bed .
" hazza ! You don't have to do that dear ! " I said as I realize he press the button to call the nurse to get in , minutes later the nurse who look sleepy but a worries in her expression " do you guys need something ? " she said carefully " yes , Louis said his side is hurting him, do you have any pills killer that you could give him ? " Harry asked politely .
The nurse walks in front of my bed and took the clipboard that full of my information I guess . " I can't give you pain killer yet because here it's said the other nurse already injected you with something that can't be interrupted by any other medication including pain killer . Um , do you think you can hold your pain for next few hours ? " the nurse asked me , I nods and said " I think I can . Thank you " I said while smiling to the nurse . The nurse smiled backs and said " goodnight sweety ! " she said while walking away .
" she flirts with you " Harry blurted out suddenly . I laugh and said "are you jealous ? " I smirk and tickle his side , he laugh and said no and no over again . I chuckle and stop tickling him " still jealous? " I asked him and he shook his head while smiling . My fond activated because he is soo freaking cute ! I move to the right a bit and make some space for him to lay with me . I pat at the bed beside me to him and he look at me confused , " come here , wants to cuddle my hazza ! " I said cutely .
He smiled and got up from his seat and lay beside me , I quickly put my head under his chest " this heart , better not stop beating after I'm gone " I said sincerely, I heard Harry took an uncomfortable breath and I kiss his jaws " hazza , you promised me right ? " I asked him while looking up at him , he look down at me and wrap his hand over my waist and kiss my head " promise are made to be broken sometimes " he said brokenly .
" yea , it was indeed true but keep that promise for me please , just once " I plead him and he sigh and nods unwillingly , " did the pain on your side still hurting you ? " he asked suddenly , changing the topics . I shook my head and lay my head over his chest . " good night haz, " I said sleepily and when I closed my eyes , I heard Harry said " I love you Louis , no matter what will happen , I will always be on your side , forever and always " soon I drifted off to sleep.
9 in the morning
I wake up and see Harry was still sleeping , I couldn't help but thinking how lucky I am to have him . Even tho I'm dying , he still didn't give up on me . " morning BOO ! " I gasped because I was shocked then Harry laughing so hard that he fell on the bed , what the hell is happenin ? " you should hahahha see your face when hahahha you're shocked !! It was priceless !! " Harry said in between his laugh , I groans and about to said something when there was a sudden rush from the nurse , who looks panicked .
" your heart monitor beats soo fast that makes me come here quickly , are you in pain ? " the nurse said quickly ,worries clears in her tone , Harry just smirk and get up from the floor , " no , just my left side , that's all . Blame on that mobs of curls guy ! He is the one who makes my heart beats goes crazy ! crazy idiot ! " I exclaimed, Harry laugh again and said " you were looking at me with your eyes full of love and I have no ideas what were you thinking about , that you don't even realize I already open my eyes ! '' I rolled my eyes at his dork attitude , the nurse looking at us fondly but when I coughed to get her attention and she blushed '' I'm sorry , you guys soo cute ! oh ! you said your left side is hurting ? '' the nurse asked me as she realize that I've said that before .
'' yea , its still hurts , I have no ideas why , '' I said and Harry goes to my left side and he took my hands '' but that is where your kidney place '' he frowns while looking at me , I nods and gave him a sadly smile , '' yes it was , I will call the doctor James now , wait a seconds kay '' the nurse said and she hurriedly to get the doctor .
Harry POV
I look at Louis and give him a cheeky smile '' why you give me that look ? '' Louis said curiously , '' why ? I cannot give my fiance an adorable smiles ? , '' I said and smile even wider , Louis chuckles and said '' who said your smile is adorable ? mine is much more adorable ,'' Louis showed me his cutest smile and I watched him fondly , I wanted to kiss him but both of us have not brush our teeth yet and yea , the doors open and its revealed doctor James walking smiling '' good morning !'' he said happily , I looked at Louis and both of us share a confused looks , why he being soo happy ?
'' why both of you looking at me weirdly ? ''the doctor James smiled at us and put his hands on his pockets like he usually did . '' is there any good news that you were smiling soo wide in the morning ? '' Louis asked directly and I smiled at his attitude , his Doncaster sass is back !
" yea , indeed .. My wife pregnant again !! '' he said excitedly , '' woah ! Congrats ! '' both of us congratulating him, '' thank you ! its good to hear those two words from my wife ! I've been waiting soo long since my son ... you know ! Alright , lets stop talking about that .... , '' He trailed off and back to being serious , he took the clipboard and said '' here said that your left side is hurting since 2 in the morning , can you show me where is it hurting '' Dr. James asked Louis , Louis , moved his hands over his left side which is exactly where his kidney place .
Doctor James looks taken back and write something on the clipboard , '' I need to take your urine to be tested , do you think you can give me ? '' he asked Louis once again . Louis nods '' Nurse Kaila , Please bring some tube and give to him , '' Dr James instructs and the nurse quick on her feet . '' what do you think will happens ? " I asked the doctor in fear something else happen to Louis , '' um , I don't know , I means I know but I don't want to make assumption that could be wrong , '' the doctor said apologetically , I nods understanding his excuse .
If he did tells me his assumption , I might throwing fits , the nurse come backs with a tube and gave it to Louis , '' you okay going to bathroom alone ? '' I asked him , he rolled his eyes and said '' I can walk just fine Haz , '' I nods and look at him as he pull out his legs under the duvet and put it on the ground , he about to stands up but his legs giving up that he almost fell , luckily I was near him so I catch him before he falling faces to the floor , '' Louis , you need to be more careful , you have not use your legs about 5 days , so take it easy '' the doctor warns ,
I help Louis to stand up and we walks slowly '' I walk like an old man !'' Louis chuckles and I grins '' you're indeed an old man Lou ! '' that earns a smack over my chest . '' meany '' Louis pouts , ''am not , you're the one told me you walk like an old man ! '' I protest and let out my tongues '' But- '' '' ey ey ey ! Your arguing is really makes my cheeks hurt from smiling , because wow you guys are cute together , now go make the peeing business ! '' the doctor exclaims , both of us laugh and continue to walk towards the toilet .
Once Louis done peeing on the tube , with my helps of course ! , Louis gave it to the nurse '' bring it to the lab , alright guys , lets wait up for an hour or so, '' Dr. James said , he walks out the room and I sigh '' Haz , do you think my condition gotten worst ? '' Louis said sadly while looking down at his tiny hands , I took his hands in mine and lift him chin up so he looks directly towards my eyes '' I don't know Lou , but whatever happens to you , remember I'm not giving up on you , so you should do the same . Let's kick the butt of the cancer ! ''I grins at him , he gave me small smile and said '' thanks Haz .. I'm thankful to have you by my side , ''
I kissed his lips and he gasped and push me '' we both did not brush our teeth yet !'' he exclaims '' I've been wanting to kiss you since this morning ! I'm craving of your lips Lou ! '' I whines and he chuckles '' at least lets brush our teeth or even showered ! I haven't had shower almost a week ! I smell stink ! '' Louis said while he smells himself '' yea of course ! Lets go shower together to save the water ! '' I smirk and Louis nods '' yea , lets do that ! '' he got up from his seat and I sat there speechless .
Did he hears what I sa- '' Come on Haz , what are you waiting for ? ''Louis pulls my hands and I stopped him '' did you even hear what I said ?'' I asked him , '' yes , I do ! you are my fiance , so there is no need to be shy towards each other ! Come on ! '' Louis whines and pull me , who am I to deny it ?
