i ran into the bathroom, trying not to wake brandon in the process. he was sound asleep in our bed while i had a strong urge to puke.
i quickly kneeled in front of the toilet, before it was took late and i didn't make it to it. i started coughing trying as hard as i could to not wake up my husband.
as i finished i sat leaning on the bathroom wall, breathing heavily. a small knock appeared on the door, along with brandon's soft voice "baby, you okay ? i heard you coughing and i wanted to check"
i nodded even though he couldn't see through doors. "yeah, i'm just not feeling the greatest right now" i said which was true. "okay, can you unlock the door. i want to see you" i smiled at my caring husband, i slowly got up unlocking the door, only to see brandon with a small caring smile on his face, making me feel a little better
his hand moved to my face and he softly moved his hand down from me cheek to my jaw. he quickly kissed my cheek before asking if i needed anything. i of course said yes and said maybe it was a little fever, but he knew i was lying by the face he made.
i sighed knowing i couldn't convince him. yes i was pregnant. but brandon doesn't need to know....yet.
