"Who are you and how the hell did you get in here?" I demand.
"I'm Violet, your neighbor, and the front door was open. Thought it'd be nice to stop by and introduce myself."
"Do you normally trespass into people's houses?" I sarcastically ask.
"You could say it's a hobby," she smirks.
I decide I like this girl, "I'm Andromeda Hannon."
"Andromeda? Interesting name," she concludes.
"My father was an astrology freak," I explain.
"Ah, and your mother?" she asks.
"Wanted to name me Valerie," I skirt around the subject of my parents.
"I'm assuming they came to a compromise considering your name," she says.
"Yeah, they did. It's my middle name," I tell her.
"Andromeda Valerie Hannon, that's a mouth full," she jokes.
"Call me Andy," I say, "It's easier."
"So Andy," she draws out the so.
"So Violet," I mimic.
She stares at me for a second, "Got the Ramones?"
"Of course," I smirk and head over to my vinyl's.

Four records, three hours, and a pack of cigarettes later Violet and I lay on my bed laughing and playing Twenty-one Questions.
"Okay," she laughs, "What's your favorite body part?"
"Body part? Really?" I chuckle.
"Really," she confirms.
"Okay, um, eyes I guess," I say.
"Such a cliche," she groans.
"Okay then, what's yours?" I ask.
"Fingers," she quickly decides.
"Fingers, why?" I question.
"Because the proper term for them are phalanges," she explains.
"Interesting," I conclude.
"Why'd you move here?" she turns and looks out the window.
"It's my turn," I tell her.
"Then go," she says a little annoyed.
"Favorite color?" I dimly ask.
"Purple," she confirms, "Now why'd you move here?"
I sigh, whether it's from annoyance or the nostalgic feelings I do not know, so I simply say, "It's just another sob story."
"I've probably heard worse," she sits in front of me on my bed and stares at me waiting for an answer.
"If you insist," I sigh once more and launch into the story of the dreadful day.
