"Well, well. Lucius it's a pleasure."

Chronos narrowed his eyes moderately, enough for Lucius to take the hint he was to be cautious in his surroundings.

"Chronos, I'm sure it is. How are you?"

Lucius glanced around, his head turning slowly to look down at something, or someone behind him.

"Don't touch anything Draco."

Skyler jumped slightly at the sound of a cane smacking onto a surface.

A young boy stepped out of the way, startled also as his eyes seemed to widen a fraction but not as much as expected. She assumed he was used to it.

"Come away from the door and be polite."

"Yes Father."

Chronos scowled as his eyes fell on the platinum haired boy, his grey eyes locking immediately onto Skyler as they widened a fraction more in what appears to be surprise.

"Ah, this is your son I assume?"

Lucius nodded at Chronos, their eyes meeting as they communicated seemly without words.

Chronos glancing at the boy from moment to moment before his eyes fell upon his own daughter whom decided she would much rather stand quietly.

"Skyler, I'd like you to meet Draco. He too goes to Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry."

Skyler looked up from the stained wooden floorboards her eyes had originally locked on, a small gasp escaping her lips as Draco looked worried for a second.

"You?"

Draco swallowed, knowing his father would not be impressed at the prior meeting the two had shared.

"You're a Grey?"

Draco spoke, seemingly startled at his realisation as he acknowledged her appearance. At first, he met her dazzling blue eyes to which seemed to be piercing his own.

"I am, is that a problem to you!"

Skyler crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow at the words leaving the high ego-radiating boys mouth.

For a minute, he seemed to forget his father was in front of him. Watching the two's exchange with extreme interest as was Chronos, his stare slightly uneasy as he watched his daughters actions.

"You two know eachother, son."

Draco jumped, his surroundings coming back into his view as his head turned to his father. Lucius's pale, bony fingers tapping the top of his snake headed cane with an unimpressed stare purposely aimed towards his son.

Skyler spoke up, realising the tension that was occurring between the Malfoy's and began to feel uncomfortable herself.

"Yes sir. I do apologise for the lack of explanation as to the situation."

Lucius nodded, allowing her to continue as she awaited his permission to speak as her father had taught her.

Chronos looked down with pride at her behaviour, remembering his words to her not much earlier on in the day.

"I believe I met your son earlier today, we had accidentally knocked into each-other due to lack of attention at our surroundings."

Draco cocked his head, confused as to why a Grey was defending him but alas he did not question or argue her motive. He was simply grateful to be out of a situation his father would not have approved, he was told not to wander around as was Skyler.

"I see.. well as no harm has come from the matter I will allow it to slide this once. Understand Draco?"

Draco nodded sullenly, looking to the ground not wanting to agitate his father more than he knew he already was.

"Well, we must be off. Skyler has plenty of equipment left we must gather but at first I will do what I came for."

Lucius nodded sharply, breathing out a breath he didn't appear to release he was holding as Chronos met his eyes with a dangerous glint.

"Skyler come, we have work to do."

Skyler hurried to her fathers side, placing the cane carefully back onto the counter as her pale fingers danced across the surface.

Her necklace shone under the lights, Lucius locking immediately onto it as a small sly smile came upon his face.

"I do hope to see you again soon Miss Grey. I have a feeling you and my son will make the greatest of friends over the years to come, do you not agree Chronos?"

Chronos scoffed, placing his arm protectively over his daughters shoulder whom looked positively confused at Mr Malfoy's words.

"Oh I'm sure they will, after all. We purebloods tend to stick together do we not Lucius? Maybe in the future we will find ourselves closer than you think if all works to the way it ought."

Lucius huffed, seemingly offended at the last few words of his sentence.

"Maybe so, good-day Chronos, Miss Grey."

Chronos replied, Skyler lowering her head politely in response as did Draco, their eyes meeting once more yet this time Draco's appeared to hold a blatant emotion of interest within them.

Skyler however looked bored, merely thinking this was another of her fathers pure blood friends.

"Good day Lucius, Mr Malfoy."

Draco bowed his head politely, tightening his grip on the box he had in his hands containing his school books.

"Draco move along. We do not want to miss collecting your wand do we."

"No father."

Skyler raised her eyebrows, confused at why he was getting his wand from here when Ollivanders was just as good.

Chronos noticed his daughters confusion and spoke for her.

"Lucius does not agree with buying wands from somewhere so primitive. Ollivanders is merely for children and parents, this is why we shop in Nocturne alley instead. It suits our needs better dear daughter."

"Oh, I do apologise for my confusion father."

Chronos smiled slightly, shaking his head at his daughters apology."

Lucius looked down at Skyler with an impressed expression.

"You have raised her with a brilliant sense and attitude Chronos, may I ask how you achieved as much?"

Chronos smiled with pride, more than happy to explain his daughters education.

"She was home schooled, by Amycus and Alecto Carrow themselves. "

Lucius looked startled for a second before regaining his usual plain expression.

"Is that so? Well you must be impressed at what they accomplished."

"I am, I cannot thank our Lord enough for his kind offering towards our family."

Lucius looked bitter, Chronos knowing it immediately as he let a satisfied smirk cross his lips to which Skyler grinned slightly also.

"Yes, well as I said we must go and collect Draco's wand. Good day."

Chronos stifled a curt laugh as even skyler giggled softly to herself.

"Good day Lucius. Draco."

Lucius flicked his cloak, demanding Draco to follow as the boy scuttled slowly after his now agitated father.

"He deserves that for attempting to put me into his place, come Skyler we must finish our rounds."
