Since I'm currently editing this book, I wanted to change the song because I made this story 5 years ago and the song is good yeah, but it gives me secondhand embarrassment HAHAHAHA
If I could ask my 14 year old self why did I chose this I just had weird music taste HAHAHA but it's a good cover though, it's just doesn't match the vibe of Levi.
But as of now I couldn't remove the video to change it since new french covers that are better just surfaced.
Perhaps, try to just change your imagination and listen to whatever song you'd like Levi to sing for you when reading this chapter.
Love lots!
Chapter 15: Time
(R/n)
I flutter my eyes open, getting awake. I shifted over the bed only for me to meet nothing but an empty space, realizing Levi wasn't here anymore.
'He must have just woken up.'
Then I remember what happened last night when I fell asleep on the couch, I woke up feeling him carrying me upstairs. Not trying to open my eyes.
I could've mistaken it as a dream but then Levi kissed my forehead when he laid me to the bed.
I was awake that time and I was wondering,
'Why'd he do that? Does it mean... he had -.'
Oh no. Just no. It can't be.
And I know I can't just start to assume. He might have been just worried,
I blushed. "But he still did kissed me..."
The running weird feelings suddenly comes back to me making me kick my leg, blushing madly.
'Oh my god" I touched my forehead with my cheeks still felt warm.
"No, no. I'm sure he's just being kind. Don't think the other way, (y/n)!" I half-yelled to myself. Levi might hear me...
I got up from the bed and organized it. Levi will surely confront me as I recall that he has an OCD.
I brushed my teeth, washed my face, took a quick bath and wore something comfortable. After fixing myself, I walked downstairs to smell a familiar black tea.
My feet led me through the kitchen to see Levi holding a spatula, making breakfast. He took a sip on his tea, handling it oddly. I quietly went beside him, looking over to the food he's cooking.
"Morning." He spoke, not making an eye contact.
I smiled. "Good morning."
I raised an eyebrow, "I didn't know, you know how to cook."
"I could've burned my house." He responded sarcastically.
I chuckled at his statement before making myself a tea, adding a little lemon on it. After having my own cup, I sat on the dining table waiting for him to serve the food.
He turned to see me, holding a plate. Levi's eyes landed on me, he smirked and put down the plate, sitting across me.
Levi served the food until he stopped in his tracks. Smelling my cup. "Why'd you put shit?" He asked.
"What is it to you?" I sassed.
"Tch." He clicked his tongue.
Levi doesn't like anything to add in his tea? Hm... that's absurd.
I washed those thought away and just grabbed a fork to taste the food he cooked. He was staring at me with a smirk on his face, waiting for how I would react.
As soon as I took the spoonful food in my mouth, my eyes sparkled in surprise.
I admit, Levi was a good cook. No, I mean he was really a perfect cook.
I glanced at him. He raised me an eyebrow and I smiled.
"You know?" I pointed at him while grinning like an idiot. "I really had no idea what are you."
Then he chuckled.
My heart skipped a beat. 'Wow. I never thought he would laugh that adorable!'
I felt heat rise to my cheeks while being speechless. Oh my god.
"Oi." He waved at me, trying to catch back my attention.
"Oh. I'm sorry." I looked away then started eating again. I can't forget about his voice and it's making me blush real hard.
This is weird. It kept repeating inside my head and it's creeping me out.
The atmosphere became silent, but I kept on eating. A sign that I liked Levi's cooking.
"You eat like a mess." He teased, handing me a table napkin.
"Blame yourself," I laughed. "You cooked pretty good."
Then suddenly I felt something struck me. My orbs widened as I stopped in my tracks.
...
This scenario.
Perhaps, did this...
already happened...
Before...?
...
"You okay?" He asked, pulling me back to reality.
I looked up at him. "I..." I was lost for words.
"You what?" He stoically asked.
I glanced around my dining room...
'What's happening? Why are these pictures suddenly appears in my head?'
I shot a glance back at him. "Levi, what do you call it when a scene feels like it had already happened before?"
His expression turned serious.
"Déjà vu.."
Déjà vu...?
Was that it?
"You curious?" He asked as if he read my mind.
I nodded, showing interest. "I was... wondering if... this had hap-"
"Yeah, this really had happened." Levi turned my question into an answer straightforward.
He rest his arms on the table crossed arms while looking directly into my orbs as he continues.
"Nevertheless, you were at my house that time after fixing my broken glassdoor at my balcony because you threw pebbles the time you were drunk."
I gasped. "Seriously?" I looked at him with an embarrassed expression.
'And why would I be the one to fix that?!'
"Yeah, and that's the first time we became close." He said, not paying any reaction but a poker face. "You also cooked for dinner at my house so we ate together, and you know what?" He rested his chin on his knuckles, still looking into me with a smirk.
As I found out that everything that happened in my life before was kind of amusing and unexpected.
I'm actually having fun on discovering them.
"What?" I asked, willing to hear next.
"You never changed." Levi snorted and smirked. "The way you ate before... it's still the way you are, right now."
I blushed in embarrassment.
I whined in disappointed. "That's unfair. It seems that I look like a great mess in your eyes." I shooked my head and chuckled bitterly.
"Indeed." Levi said as I pouted to hear his agreement, expecting a little amount of hope that I was wrong.
"Anyway, why did I fixed your glassdoor? I mean, by any chance, don't you have enough money to call a carpenter?" I asked out of curiosity, stating a half-meant fact.
He's a popular celebrity, isn't he rich?
"No. I really did wanted for you to personally fix it. You were the one who ruined." He started eating his food.
"How harsh of you."
"Yeah. You're welcome." He said sarcastically.
Then we spent the whole day, playing video games, eating, and he took care of me just like accompanying me with my bruises, and necessary medications.
Even if he had a little cold side. Levi hides a soft spot in his soul.
-
Levi and I decided to hang out today since the both of us weren't that busy.
I mean... I insisted him to play in an arcade, where my plan is for us to have karaoke.
Well... the truth is that I wanted to hear him sing to me. It looks like I'm taking advantage of a celebrity, and yeah I do.
But I'd really want to hear his voice so bad like I don't know why. I just want to hear it live.
Levi was a bit suspicious because of how he acts towards people. He was wearing shades which I was making fun of since we came here. It's still obvious that he was the Levi Ackerman every people knew. But were lucky that no one bothered to ask nor tried to suspect.
We entered the room and sat on the couch.
"What now?" He asked while stretching.
I shrugged. "Let's see." I dared him in rock-paper-scissor so we'll know who's gonna sing first.
Levi lost as paper and I being scissor. So yeah, he was the first one to sing. He searched for a song then entered it.
I tried not to act laughing while waiting for him to sing the intro and searching for the song I'm gonna sing after him.
But my heart raced fast as I heard his voice blasted.
I didn't know I was staring on a space, blushing like hell!
I just can't imagine that Levi was singing in front of me. How lucky of me that I don't need to go to a concert to see their band and hear his voice personally.
He really had that very intimidating voice, no wonder that many girls wanted to marry him... as well as his looks. Admit it, he was handsome and adorable when embarassed.
He finished the song and pulled me from the couch.
"Your turn, brat."
"Can you not wait?" I was still in the middle of searching when I was distracted with his voice.
"Whatever." He sat beside me and started scrolling on his phone.
I saw a familiar song that he might understand. I somehow, learned how to speak and pronounce French after playing very beautiful french version songs from a playlist on my phone. I have no idea how I got those but I've got to secretly listen to them.
I smirked at Levi while he's still wasn't looking then entered the song.
The intro played. I saw him in the corner of my eye looked up, lips were parted a bit in shock after hearing the very first french sentence.
He may have no expression on his face after a few sceonds but I know deep there in his chest, he felt uneasy if he'll hear me sing French.
The music started and two voices echoed as I sang and it perfectly complemented my voice sweetly.
The song sounded a bit sensual. I looked at Levi who I found staring at me with his arms crossed, his eyes showed amusement and lips formed a smirk.
I smiled and turned back to the screen, blushing.
The song ended and I slumped back to the couch only to hear his compliment.
"I like how you sing it." He smirked. "It's actually perfect."
I shrugged. "I just thought if I could impress you." I chuckled.
"You did."
"Really?"
"Yeah." His bluish-gray eyes staring directly on my (e/c). "How did you sang it with correct pronunciations? I thought you will never learn French that better." Levi asked with a disbelief look on his face.
Were inches away while talking, so I kinda felt awkward with him too close.
"Well..." I scratch the back of my head embarassed. "I just found that I had some French song covers on my music player, it turns out for me to like it after listening. So that's when I started listening to it everyday, until I adapted to sing it." I looked away embarassed. I felt uneasy that I sang French in front of a hot French vocalist.
"Look at me." He stated and touched my chin to face him. "I would like to collaborate with you sometime..."
