Poems that rhyme

The Beach

Sitting on the beach,
Watching the waves roll on the horizon out of reach.
I listen to the crashes of the salty water,
Listen to my parents and their order.
Watching them give the waitress tips,
Watching them come over with my chips.
Completely forgotten and in a trans,
My mother puts them next to my pants.
I hear the birds cry and Yelp,
The thought of them injured and need my help.
I see one than another three,
Next thing I saw was the surrounding me.
I knew what they wanted so dearly bad,
That if I gave them they wouldn't be mad.
I throw out a chip or maybe four,
Once they're gone the birds are begging for more.
I listen to the calls of the bird,
Now I hear more than the third.
