"Liyah get up its time for school" I heard my mom yell from outside of my door .
I looked at the clock seeing that it was 5:50am . I groaned and flipped my feet over touching the cold wooden floor with my bare feet, I stretched and yawned then finally rose up out the bed and drug my feet across the floor to open my door . I heard my mom in her room talking on the phone as I walked pass to get a bar of soap out the cabinet . well today is gonna be a long day I think to my self as I walk in my bathroom turning on the water waiting for it to get hot . I slipped out my clothes putting on my shower cap over my freshly flat ironed hair ,I then step in the shower and began my day .
30 minutes later
I walked in my walk in closet with my towel wrapped around my small frame .
"Hmm what should I wear today "I tapped my chin as I looked on the ground with clothes thrown everywhere ,
these last 2 days we have unpacked alot ,its still a couple more things we need to unpack , but its almost there , I settle with a white crop top,with tommy Hilfiger under garment and some baggy jeans with some timbs and a red jacket , I pick up the clothes I picked out and throw it On my bed and I began to put my clothes on ,after I was done putting my outfit on ,I checked my self out in the mirror ,I look pretty good . I began to comb out my hair into the style I wanted it , I settled with my straight hair and a side bang . I was to busy admiring my look I didn't even notice my mother coming in
"Ooooo Liyah I like it " my mom says with her hand on her hip
"You do?"I sag looking down at my whole outfit
"Hold on I'll be right back "my mom says leaving out the room
I look in the mirror applying some reddish burgundy lipstick on my lips and then my mom come from behind and puts some shades on my face.
"Now that's what I'm talking about " she says making the "that" pop out
"Oh yea Mom I dig this "I say smililng
"Come on girl school starts at 7am and its 6:30,you have just enough time to get a bowl of cereal and head out "she says as we both head out my room .
I go downstairs and pick up the box of honey smackers,which was my favorite cereal , I pour me a bowl of cereal and pour some milk in the bowl and I get a cup of orange juice and I sit down on the couch scanning for something to watch ,just then martin caught my eye and I stopped scanning and watched that until I was finished with my cereal , I made a couple laughs and took a couple sips of my drink
"Baby its 6:50 let's go " my Mom says as I hear her car keys jiggle
I shot up from the couch and put my bowl in the sink and grabbed my bag and walked out . here goes nothing ....

"Q!!" I yell at the window
This nigga bout to have us late for school ,we was always late last year ,and I can't afford to miss as much school as I did last year,and plus its the first day of school ,oh hell nah. I picked up a branch and threw it his window.
Just a couple seconds later his window slid up and his head shot out .
"Nigga would you chill that shit out,you gone wake my moms,I'm almost ready damn!" he says in a semi yell
"You coulda said that shit nigga " I say semi yelling back
"Man" he says smacking his lips then shutting his window ,
I just sighed and scratched my head and leant against the wall ,i live under Q and our other nigga raheem live across the street from us, its kinda dope ,just a few seconds I see Q jogging towards me .
"Bout time nigga " I say as we start walking , it ain't nun but a 5 min walk from Q house to the school house
"So nigga this our last year of highschool "Q says in disbelief
"I know nigga. im bout to get my shit together and get a job " i say ,as soon as I said job His head shot up
"Now what type of job... I hope you not talking about with eazy and them niggas " Q said as we walked
Eazy ? Thats the biggest drug dealer that you could find in Cali , he get away with everything,killing niggas ,raping women ...you name it he is a real dangerous man . he dropped out in the middle of the school year last year, I started slangin with him ,only cause I needed some money to put my mom in rehab . I just couldn't see her like that ,I've never done drugs other then some weed . but I stop slanging with him because I've almost gotten caught for him to many times and I told him I was done with the shit .
"nah man im talking a real job " I say

"I'm tryna settle down with a female you feel me " Q says laughing

"Ahhh her big headed self,she never gone let you in nigga " I say
"How much you wanna Bet? And besides you still stuck up on Monica's ass , yea I be hearing y'all downstairs ,one minuet its "get the fuck out " next minuet its"owww pac ugh daddy " Q says making his voice go soft
"Nigga shut the fuck up I'm done with her scandalous ass" i say taking my brush out my pocket brushing my hair as we finally reached school .
"Here we go nigga "Q says looking at me as we walked in school.

I looked on the paper and red my locker combination and tried find it 232 I read off the paper I scanned the hallway with students everywhere

I found it and my smile grew wide as I seen Lisa putting her stuff in the locker next to my locker . I walked over to my locker and tapped her
"Hey girl "I say smiling at Lisa
"Heey girl oh my god is this yo locker "she says pointing to my locker,I just respond with a nod.
"Thats crazy man,Kim locker is 229,Jada locker is 230,my locker is 231 ,yo locker is 232 ,pac locker is 233 ,Q locker is 234 ,and raheem locker is 235 ,wow this school year bout to be fun "lisa says smiling as I join in with her
"Hell yeah girl,who is this ?"a girl with box braids cut into a Bob says as she shuts her locker
"Oh oh ,aaliyah this is Jada ,Jada aaliyah "Lisa says
"Oh my lawd you so pretty girl ,you bout to be my bitch " she says
laughing while me and Lisa join her
"Thanks ,so Are you "I say smiling
"New faces new faces " a girl with black hair popping some gum says walking past us
"Kim this is aaliyah ,aaliyah Kim "she says motioning back and forth towards us
"Hey Kim its so Nice to meet you ,lisa told me so much about you " I said smiling
"aw thank you boo,you too "she says
"Let me show you around " Jada says pulling my arm
"Me too "Kim says walking with us
"Y'all imma stay back OK "Lisa says waving
"OK "we all said in unison

"Lisa!" I say calling her as I watched the slim lightskin girl walk away with Jada and Kim .
"Yea big head ? " she says putting her hand on her hip.
"Who the fuck was that "I say pointing at her
"Yea who is that" raheem came in with Q behind him
"Hmm..let's see a "hey!! I missed You" would be NIce niggas " Lisa says rolling her eyes turning around until me ,Q,and raheem attacked her with hugs and kisses cooing "i missed you big head "
"OK can you niggas get off of me " Lisa says almost yelling
"Is you gone tell us who that girl was ? "I say
"Yes nigga " she says as we all un loosen our grip and she hits me on upside my box hair cut
I laugh as I cover my head
"But anyways ,thats the new girl ,aaliyah she moved from Detroit "she says as we all look At her while she talked with Jada and kim,across the hallway,damn mama was fine as hell not even gone hold you up,I got to get them digits
"But " Lisa interrupted my thoughts
"She has a boyfriend back in the D 'Lisa said making me mentally curse .
"Shits its snatch season then "I say as I dap Q and raheem up laughing ,then aaliyah started to head my way

After about 10 minuets of walking we finally headed back to our lockers cause we had exactly 3 minuets until my first period started . I go back to my locker and unlock my locker
"Aaliyah is it ?" I hear somebody say ,I turn to see a tall dark skin boy with doughy brown eyes with a box hair cut with a line going down the side .
"Uh yea " I say in a duh town getting my stuff from out my locker for my first period
"I think you kinda fly "he says with his arms folded leaning against the locker
"Look,what do you want from me"I say closing My locker to face him
"we can start witcha phone numba" he says licking his lips
"And what's your name ?"I say
"Tupac "he says rubbing his hands together
"Oh ..we'll um listen Here tupac ,I have a boy friend ,and uh sorry to break it to ya but ,I ain't giving you shit "I say chuckling and rolling my neck and eyes then I walked away to my first period ,even tho I'm a few hours away from Detroit ,all my loyalty is for G. I would never hurt him
