Jorel's POV
Another week without any word from Aron.
I wanted so badly to help him, to save him.
I'd just stopped calling and texting because I knew he wouldn't answer.
Vanessa could tell I was worried and upset over it.
" You should go visit him again. See if you can convince him to check into a hospital or something " she said as she sat next to me.
" I guess so. I just...I hate seeing him like this. He slowly killing himself. It hurts me as well. I don't want to see him rotting away in a hospital either though " I replied.
" I know Jay, but it's for the best. He can't hurt himself in the hospital and they'll give him medications that'll hopefully help him " she spoke.
" Medication won't do anything for him. It never has. Every other time he's always let me help him, nurse him back to a state stable enough for living. I know he'll never truly be happy but I've always been the one to help him out of these depressive episodes. " I said.
" well then you need to be that person again. Even if he doesn't want your help you need to help him. He's dying Jay, right before our eyes. " Vanessa said.
" I know but how can I help him if he won't even speak to me? " I asked.
" You still have the spare key to his apartment?"
" yeah "
" go over there. Try to convince him that he does need help "
" I will. "
I got up off the couch, grabbing my hoodie and slipping on my shoes.
I then grabbed my lanyard with all my keys on it and rushed out the door.
I rushed to my car, getting in.
I turned on the ignition and pulled out of my driveway.
I drove all the way to Aron's place.
Once I parked my car I got out and jogged up to the doors of the building.
I walked inside and then made my way up the steps.
I got to his floor, walking till I came to his apartment.
I knocked on the door.
No answer.
I knocked again. " Aron, it's me" I said.
Still no answer.
I put my key in the lock only to find it was already unlocked.
I pushed the door open, stepping inside.
I closed it behind me.
" Aron?" I called out.
No reply so I didn't it a few more times.
I searched around the living room but no sign of him.
I then searched the rest of his house but didn't find him.
When I searched his bedroom I noticed the bathroom light was on.
I cautiously approached it, pushing the door open.
I stepped inside, looking around.
My eyes finally landed on him and went wide.
" Aron!" I cried out.
