ACT III
— Scene 2 —
P O V :  H A R R Y

I blinked open my eyes, seeing Louis' face only a few inches away from mine, sleeping soundly. I stared at him for a while, wondering when he would wake up.

What happened yesterday felt unreal, almost as if it were a dream. I couldn't help but smile as I remembered the way Louis had kissed me, and the way his lips felt.

The memory kept replaying in my head, again and again. The place was swarming with people, but in the moment, it felt like we were the only two in the room.

As I watched him sleep, I wondered when he'd do it again. A part of me almost expected him to wake up and plant yet another kiss on my lips.

Louis began to stir in his sleep, slowly waking up. Finally, he opened his eyes, smiling at me.

"Sun's up early today," He said, a clear raspiness in his voice.

I narrowed my eyes, looking towards the window. The sky was cloudy and grey, and raindrops fell onto the pavement.

"Huh?" I asked, tucking my hand under my chin.

Louis smiled at me, not saying a word. He was referring to me.

"Oh," I breathed out, trying to hide my surprise.

He gave me one last grin, before throwing the covers off him and standing up from the bed.

"I'm going to go shower," he announced, heading towards the bathroom.

I sighed, watching him leave.

I stared at the ceiling for a while, hearing raindrops hit the window. I wondered if we'd leave the house today, and if we did, what we'd do.

We could go outside, but we'd have to bring an umbrella. We could share an umbrella, and hold hands and kiss under the pouring rain and-

I groaned, burying my face into the pillow.

God, I'm such a hopeless romantic.

We had only known eachother for a month; why was I already so attached? I swear, there was something about the boy that was irresistible.

About fifteen minutes had passed, and I was still in the same position, daydreaming about things that would probably never happen.

I heard the bathroom door swing open, and soon enough, Louis walked into the bedroom, a towel wrapped around his waist.

He cleared his throat, "Where do you wa-"

It all happened in slow motion. The towel, the only thing covering his privates, began to slip.

Suddenly, it fell to the foor.

My first instinct was to scream and slap my hands over my eyes, fearing I might see something I shouldn't.

"Um, Harry?" he said, remaining calm.

I peeked through my fingers, surprised to see another towel wrapped perfectly around his waist.

He laughed, "I always wear two towels, just in case."

I raised my eyebrows, "Weirdo."

Louis laughed, "Hey, be nice. I just avoided a potential disaster."

"Hmm, alright," I said, giggling, "Wanna go to the cinema today?"

Louis shrugged, "Sure, there's this new horror film we could watch."

I immediately frowned.

"I hate horror films, though," I admitted, "I get scared way too easily."

Louis rolled his eyes, smirking, "I'll buy you popcorn and a giant cherry slushie!"

"Okay, fine. You had me at 'popcorn'" I chuckled, standing up from the bed.

---

"And one large slushie for you," the cashier said, handing me my drink. I happily thanked him, taking a sip.

Louis looked at the tickets. "Okay, screen six."

I nodded, following him down the hall and into the theatre. I pointed to the back.

"Let's sit over there!" I suggested, "We'll get the best view."

He nodded, and we made our way to the very back row, sitting down at two seats in the middle.

I felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket. Louis must have heard it, because he turned towards the noise, furrowing his eyebrows.

"You should turn that off," he told me, grabbing my slushie from the cup holder and taking a sip.

"Hey, that's mine!" I whined.

He continued drinking the slushie, "What are you going to do about it?"

I sighed, getting out my phone to turn it off. On the screen, I saw two notifications. I squinted, unlocking my phone.

There were two texts from Sean. One was a photo, and the other said "Hey ;)"

I inhaled sharply, scared to unlock the phone and look at the photo. I had no idea what it would be, but I assumed it wouldn't be family friendly.

I turned my brightness down and swiped to look at the message. It was a picture of his abs, with a 'thumbs up' in the corner of the photo. My eyes widened.

"What is it, Haz?" Louis said, leaning over to look at the screen.

Frantically, I locked the phone so he wouldn't see the picture.

"Uh, it's nothing, love," I assured him, putting it back into my pocket.

Louis shrugged, grabbing a handful of popcorn. I wonder if he picked up on the pet name.

"The film hasn't even started yet!" I complained, slapping him on the arm.

He winced, rubbing his arm.

I laughed, "See, now you know what it feels like."

Louis rolled his eyes, and brought a finger to my lips, "Shh, the movie is starting."

---

I hate horror movies.

About half an hour had passed, and I could already feel my heart beating fast in my chest. I covered my eyes, peeking through my fingers. On the contrary, Louis was intently watching, clearly enjoying himself much more than me.

Suddenly, there was a jumpscare. I screamed, burying my face into Louis' shoulder.

"Remind me again why I agreed to watch this," I whispered.

"Because of the slushie," Louis remarked, not taking his eyes off of the screen.

I sighed miserably, "You mean the slushie that you drank most of? It was supposed to be for me!"

Louis sighed, "Stop complaining, it's almost over."

I kept my head rested on his shoulder for the rest of the film.

Finally, it ended, and we made our way out of the theatre.

"I have to wee so badly," He told me.

"Hmm, I wonder why," I said jokingly.

Louis laughed, and walked towards the toilets. I sighed, pulling my phone out of my pocket and turning it back on.

A huge part of me wished I had just imagined the texts, but sure enough, they were still there.

I bit my lip, putting my phone in my pocket once again.

Unexpectedly, I felt two hands on my waist.

"Boo!"

I shrieked, turning around to find Louis laughing.

"Fuck you," I muttered, trying not to laugh.

"Oh, c'mon. That wasn't even that scary," Louis argued, still giggling.

"Whatever," I said, "If I have nightmares tonight, it's your fault."
