"I know I shouldn't keep waiting but I am. Even though I know that nobody will come, I still wait. I know it's stupid. But I can't help it. 15 years later and I'm still here. Waiting for someone, anyone......" I said.
I felt a familiar ache in my heart while saying those words. No tears escaped my eyes for they have dried out a very long time before.
They are looking at me like I'm a thin glass, like I will break anytime. I hate the way they look at me. But I keep quiet, just like the way it has to. I took a deep breath to calm myself and then grabbed me a glass of water. As I finished my drink, I excused myself and left that suffocating room that I've been for what it felt like an eternity.
