And I looked at her in shock!
"What!?" I asked in horror, words barely coming out of my mouth.
"KISS.ME!" she said the words slow and loud pulling me by my collar.
"Nandini listen you aren't in your senses!" I tried to free myself from her grip but man it was strong.
"Okay fine if you aren't kissing me I will kiss you!" she said moving dangerously close to me.
"Nandi-"before I could complete my phone rang.
Thank god!
She let out a groan in irritation and I literally moved away from her..
"Yes.... Okay fine.... Mukti ka dyan rakna..... Okay....Nahi soi woh....Will you stop laughing Cabir... Bye... Argggg!" as I finished the phone call and turned I bumped into Nandini.
"Kiss me!" she stood there closing her eyes and pouting.

"Sleep!" I said putting her on the bed faking anger.
She closed her eyes shut immediately and I chuckled at her cuteness.
She mumbled something in a sleepy tone.
" Manik Malhotra I think...."
"What do you think Nandini?" I asked her softly caressing her hair and placing a kiss on her forehead.
"I think...." she trialed off and I sighed in defeat.
I guess I have to wait to know her thoughts about me..

My sleep was disturbed when I heard someone sobbing.
I quickly opened my eyes to see Nandini badly sobbing and panting in her sleep.
I quickly rushed towards her bed and started waking her up.
"Nandini utho... Nandini!"
"NAHI Mumma!!!!! Mom you can't leave me. Dad, mom you can't!" She kept saying these words again and again.
I patted her cheeks little harshly this time.
She opened her eyes. Tears all ready to flow down.
"Nandini it's me!" I whispered wiping her now flowing tears.
"Manik!" she mumbled and hugged me tight and started crying aloud.
"Nandini kya hua bolo... Chashmish rockstar ko batao!!!" I kept consoling her.
"woh dono mujhe chodke chale gaye!" she mumbled.
"kon chodke chale gaye?"
"My.... Mom and dad... Manik they left me.. Chale gaye woh chodke" she sobbed more in my arms.
"shhhhh..... You wanna share?" I asked unsure of the answer.
She nodded and held my hand.
" I was 7 years.... old when they died in a car acc-cident"
I gave a little squeeze on her hand and wiped her tears.
" I was staying at my chacha's house for holidays. Abhi isn't my real brother he is my chacha's son.... I was waiting for them to come to pick me u-up! I saw their car coming towards us.. They smiled and even waved at me but then a truck came towards them and.... Andddd..." she trailed off.
"sshhhhh." I took her in my embrace and rubbed her back.
"I ss-saw them d-dieing and I couldn't save them..... Chacha took my responsibility and I moved with them. 2 years ago I had to shift her alone due to my studies.... I m-miss them Manik! I am all alone." She shivered as the memories came back flashing to her.
"No! You aren't alone and will never be. We all are there with you!" she slightly nodded.
"Come with me!" I took her hand and dragged her to the window.
"Look up!" I said.
"Can you see those two beautiful stars together. That is your mom and the other one dad. See how bright they shine always. And ek secret bataou!"
She raised her eyes in confusion.
"They can always see you. Will they be happy seeing you cry? So now smile. They are always there with you, watching you!"
I wiped her tears and made her smile.
She quickly hugged me.
"Thank you for being there!"
"I will always be there!" I said hugging her.

"Ahhhhha my head is paining, and spinning and playing football!" chashmish cried in pain.
"Who told you to drink so much!" I aksed as I placed a medicine and coffee in her hand.
It was morning now. After crying and telling me everything she slept in my arms only. I carried her to her room and made her sleep. Now she is facing the results of drinking so much.
A killer hangover!
"What? I don't drink! Aaaah." she exclaimed in shock.
"Yes you did!"
She looked confused and deep into thoughts trying to remember her activities.
"hah I remember but I drank only one chotu sa glass!" she said.
"ek se aisa hangover nahi hota!"
"I swear maine ek hi glass piya tha!"
"What?"
"hah, after sanaya came then I drank one and then Maddy came we went to dance and then..I don't remember a thing." she palmed her face.
"Maine kya kiya kal raat!" she said peeking through her hands.
"Aahhh, kal raat bohot interesting thi. Tumne....."
"Maine..." she said worriedly
"Tumne..." I said with a smirk on my face.
