No ones point of view
It has been a week since everything happened.The most sad,pathetic week both of them had ever been through.They needed each other,but neither of them tried to contact each other.Even a call would've been good..Hell,even a text message would be good.But nothing.Until now
Taking a deep breath,Shawn knocked on Alanas apartment door.He had a couple of weeks to rest from tour and god how he had missed her.He regretted that day.If he could turn back time and make things right,he wouldn't think twice.Sometimes he wished he had a universal remote and use it to turn back time...But he couldn't.
Skylar dropped her ice cream bowl on the table as soon as she heard the doorbell.She was expecting for Brandon to come over,but was extremely surprised to open the door only to see Shawn standing.
"You look miserable"-Skylar comments as she takes in his look.He had dark bags under his eyes,he looked exhausted.
"Where is she?"-Shawn asked desperately
"She left"-Skylar explained-"She said she needed time to clear up her head.She went back to New York"
Shawn looked up-"New York?"
"I've never seen her like that Shawn."-Skylar admits-"She cried so much that day,she nearly flooded the whole apartment"
Shawns heart ached,knowing he had caused this-"She won't answer my calls"
"She's blocked your number"-Skylar tells him.She can see the sadness in his eyes..It was hard not to-"Look,just give her some time.She'll contact you when she feels ready"
And so he agreed.But 2 days later he appeared infront of her door again,as if he was some lost puppy.He took in a deep breath...Debating whether he should or should not knock on the door standing right infront of him.
James enters the building and climbs up to the second floor only to find Shawn standing infront of Alanas door.He was surprised,the last time he'd checked Alana wasn't there and they had broken up-"What are you doing here?"
Shawn turned his head on his direction.-"None of your business"
"You know she doesn't want to see you,right?"-he raised a brow.
"Have you spoken to her?"-Shawn asked.He didn't know what answer he wanted to hear.It would hurt like hell if Alana had talked to James ,but oh how he wanted to hear from her..Even if it was through James
James nodded-"Yeah,we talk everyday"-he lied.Truth is,Alana had blocked his number months ago..But that lie was a dagger to his heart,Shawn sighed as James continued -"Look she hates you.She wants nothing to do with you"
Shawn shook his head -"You're lying"
"I'm not lying.She's happy without you"-James said and Shawns world came crashing down-"I can make her happier than you.She needs someone who will be there for her at all times..Not someone who's not there most of the time.She deserves better."
"I don't want better.I want you"-Alana's voice rang through his head.But he knew James was right.She deserved better than crying at the airport,knowing that she wouldn't see him for months.She deserved better than coming back from work to an empty house,because he was touring on the other side of the world.
Shawn nodded and left.He thought he was doing right by her.Loving her too much had made him so blind,he hadn't realized until now that maybe,just maybe,she was happier and better off without him.
Meanwhile Alana was snuggled on her couch,her hair thrown into a messy bun.Taking another spoon full of ice cream,she let out a sigh.She was watching everything,everything.Definitely not the perfect movie to watch after a break up.
She shut the laptop closed and threw it to the ground.She missed him.No matter how many bowls of ice cream she ate,no matter how many times she cried or how many times she shouted,wanting for nothing more than to stop what happened that day..It still didn't change the fact that he wasn't here anymore.It didn't change the fact that he was gone.Had he missed her,like she had missed him? She hoped so.But that's all she could do.Hope
She let out a frustrated shout as she broke down crying.As soon as she heard it,her mom came rushing to the room. Wrapping her arms around her daughter,Alanas mom rubbed her back-"Shh it's gonna be okay "
"He's gone mom.He promised me he would never leave me.."-Alana cried her entire body shaking -"I loved him so much mom"
"I know you did honey"-her mother admitted-"But you can't stay locked in here forever Alana.You can't let a break up ruin you like this. Don't be a fool,go out,have fun...Maybe you'll even meet someone new"-her mom tried to comfort her.Truth is,she knew Alana wouldn't love anyone the way she loved Shawn.But she sincerely didn't know what to do,she couldn't watch her daughter cry anymore,it was painful to.
Alana stopped crying and took a look at her mom.How could she say that?
"You're such a hypocrite"-she shook her head with a bitter chuckle-"Years ago,all you wanted was to lock me up inside the house.You wouldn't let me breathe and now suddenly you want me to go out and find a boyfriend? After I broke up with my fiancé?"
Her mom sighed-"I just don't want to see you depressed."
"I'm not depressed mom! I'm heart broken"-Alana cried out-"Do you have any idea what that feels like? It feels like you've been shattered into thousands of pieces.It feels like your heart has been ripped off your chest and the person you love the most is stomping mercilessly on it.It feels like my heart has been thrown in the trash,left there to rot."-she placed a hand over her heart as she spoke-"It's not just emotional,it's physical too.I can see my self falling apart and there's nothing I can do"-she sobbed-"I want to cry,shout and scream at the top of my lungs.But it doesn't matter.You don't understand,I don't know why I thought you would"
She got up the couch and ran upstairs to Noras room,which was still filled with Shawn posters.She broke down,touching the posters with her fingertips.-"I hate you"-she spoke-"I hate the fact that my love wasn't enough to defeat your stupid jealousy and doubts away.But god I miss you."-she wiped away her tears-"I miss you so much"
Nora entered the house,she'd went to get more ice cream and chocolate for her sister.As soon as she entered the living room and didn't see Lana snuggled on the couch ,she knew exactly where she went.She went upstairs to her room where Alana would spend most of her day looking at Shawns posters.
Nora entered the room and there she was,sitting on the bed,her arms wrapped around her knees as she sobbed quietly.-"I see you're still here"
Alana looked up-"I look like a loser"
"Yeah you do"-Nora admits-"You know what? He isn't even that good looking"
Alana looks up at her once more raising a brow-"Nora you absolutely adore him"
Dammit.
She was right
"Nope"-Nora went to the posters-"I used to adore him."
"Are you trying to make me feel better?"-Alana asked as she saw Nora take off the posters from her wall
"Is it working?"-Nora asked her and she shook her head chuckling a little
"Not really"-she bit her lip-"But thanks for trying"
Nora ripped one of the posters apart.Alana closed her eyes-"Nora please stop.You don't have to do this"
"I want to"-Nora lied as she handed Alana a poster-"You should do it too. Release your anger and sadness"
Alana took a look at his face-"I can't"
"Yes you can"-Nora urged-"Do it for me"
So she did.She watched her hands as she slowly ripped his face poster apart.Her heart aching every second.
"Do you feel better?"
Alana lied her sister-"Yes Nora.I feel better thanks"
"You're more than welcome"-she hugged her-"I love you Alana.I wish I could hurt him,just like he hurt you"
Alana knew Nora still stalked him on social media and she couldn't help but ask-"Where is he right now?"
Nora hesitated but answered anyways-"LA"
Alana took in a sharp breath.If they didn't end what they had,they would've been together right now,not thousands of miles away crying.
"What is he doing?"-Alana asked and Nora bit her lip,a thing she did when she was nervous
"Alana I don't think that's a good id-"
Alana interrupted her-"Just tell me Nora"
She grabbed both her hands-"He was spotted with another girl at a bar last night"
That was it.Her heart broke down to the ground,like it had done many times for the past week.But this time it was different.It was like she was drowning,gasping for air and suddenly she couldn't breathe.She let her tears run down her face and took in a deep breath,trying to calm herself down.
"Alana I'm so-"
Alana grabbed his poster and ripped them all apart,followed by her shoutings-"I hate him! I hate him!"
Nora grabbed her and wrapped her arms around her-"Shhh,its going to be okay"
"Stop lying to me! It's not going to be okay"-she cried-"How can he move on as if I never existed? Did he even love me?"
She felt broken.The last time she'd felt this worse was when Sebastian had nearly raped her that day,4 years ago.Only now she realized,Sebastian had only cracked her-it was him,the love of her life,the person whom she loved the most who broke her.She sobbed into Noras chest
"You need to get out a little"-Nora tells her but she refused to listen -"Lana you're stronger than this come on,I'm taking you out for a coffee"
And so she did.Now they were both in Starbucks,drinking coffee.Alana couldn't help but think about what Nora had told her.This wasn't true,it couldn't be...She meant more to him than that..Or at least that's what she hoped
"You know,when I met him I wasn't looking for love.I wasn't looking for anything to be honest.I never thought I'd fall for someone as fast as I fell for him.I guess it just happened "-Alana says taking a sip of her coffee-"I just found myself thinking of him constantly,I found myself wanting to spend more and more time with him and before I knew it,I was already too deep in love with him.And he was too.Problem is,you can fall out of love just as quickly as you can fall in love .And that's what I'm scared of"-she admitted-"I'm so scared that he fell out of love with me somewhere along the way and I'm terrified that this might have actually been the end of us"
Nora rubbed circles with her thumb on Alanas hand
"He's the better part of me Nors.Always have been.Ever since he walked into the cafe,he had me on the palm of his hand"-She wiped out her tears-"I'm sorry,I'm just gonna go to the bathroom real quick "
Walking into the bathroom,Alana changed her pad before washing her hands.She looked herself in the mirror,she was a mess-she sure looked like it too.The door of the bathroom opens and a redhead enters.Alanas gaze met hers through the mirror and her eyes widen as she turns around
Wearing a poisonous smile,Bea walked up to her.Alana held tight into the bathroom counter,afraid her legs would betray her.She was too stunned to even talk
Bea smirked as she moved her finger tips along Alanas face and down to her collarbone.Alana shut her eyes closed and when she opened them Bea was no longer there.It was like she had disappeared into the thin air .
"Great,I'm going nuts now.I'm even hallucinating now"-Alana mumbled as she left the bathroom.
Little did she know,she wasn't going nuts.Neither was she hallucinating anything.Bea was back and not for good.She was seeking revenge.And when her time would come,she would trash their lives to shreds.
