"Y/N, do you wanna have kids some day?" Ponyboy had asked one night at the drive-in.
I almost choked on my soda (A/N: I would say Pop, but it would make it sound like you choked on your sodapop and that means you did the diddly and we're all children of God here). "Ponyboy, were only 14!"
"Well, yeah, but when we're older?"
I considered it, watching Annette and Frankie on the screen. "With you, of course." I grabbed Pony's hand. I saw him grin out of the corner of my eye.
"That's good to know."
I smiled. "I'm sure it is. When do you wanna get married, Ponyboy?"
Now Ponyboy almost choked. "Oh, uh... Well, you are the love of my life. So, I'd wanna marry you when we're 18."
I laid my head on Pony's shoulder. "Four more years."
Pony's head rested on mine. "Can't wait."
