He was given a gift to see the unpredictable. His true love. His struggles. All in a book

*Jungkook POV*
My heart couldn't stop beating a mile per hour. The stadium was swarming with a wave of fans. The screams that ricocheted off the walls ringed in my ears, as the stage lights flashed over the domed stadium. Chanting their cheers, as we were lowered into the stage, waving one final time.

Our manager ran up to us as we were lowered down from the stage.

"Hey," Namjoon began, walking off of the lowered stage. "what's up?"

"I've got some exciting news for you guys I-"our manager started until Hoseok happened.

"WHAT," Hoseok extolled as he pushed through us "TELL ME!!!"

"Don't yell again or I'll-" Yoongi cautioned, watching Hoseok with his almighty evil eye.

"Heh, heh... as you were saying, manager" Jimin jabbered, scratching his neck, holding back Yoongi.

Our manager stared at us with disbelief. He then lowered his head and started to chuckle.

"You guys are at least 19 years old or older," our manager gazed up at us, with tears of laughter forming in his aged eyes. "yet you never grow up."

The seven of us looked at each other, then suddenly Hoseok breaks the silence with his...so called dance... From then on we honestly couldn't hold back our laughter. Ahhh what would we do without Hoseok in our lives!!!

"Alright, alright, let us continue on with what I was going to say before you weirdos interrupted me." Our manager looked at jokingly us with a dirty eye. Especially at *Cough* Hoseok *Cough*.

"Since you guys have been working hard..." Our manager exclaimed. "The staff and I had made an agreement to allow you, BTS, to enjoy a two-week break before we start working on your next album."

Taehyung's eyes lit up like a firework that had been ignited. He suddenly grabbed my hands from my pockets, swirling me around as if we were singing Ring Around The Rosey.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! I'm gonna DIE! Hyungs, help MEH!" I screeched, screaming for my life.

"We can finally see our families again Jungkookie!!!" Taehyung sang, shaking me back and forth.

Seokjin unravelled Tae's arms around my almost unconscious body.

"I think our Kookie is good Taehyung..." Seokjin pointed out to Taehyung as I nearly fainted to the ground.

"Wait? We really can take a break for two weeks?" Namjoon questioned our manager.

"Yes," Our manager smiled "the staff and I have contacted your families letting them know about your exclusive break"

My eyes quickly grew bigger by the second. I was relieved. All the travelling, the rehearsing, and fan signings had drowned our energy like a battery with only 5% left.

"Thank you so much!" We all said bowing our heads gratefully to our managers and staff.

We quickly travelled to the hotel, packing our belongings into our suitcases, in preparation for tomorrow's flight. Just so you know, our manager wasn't all too nice though. He booked our flight for 3:20 A.M. I guess unexpected things happen to all good things. Hey, at least I'll finally see my family once again!

Boy was the flight uncomfortable. I was seated in between Jiminie Hyung and Taehyung Hyung... who planned the seating? When those two are together... let's just say it gets extreme. Also, why did the seating planner plop me in the middle of them too? I was squashed; sinking deeper and deeper into the seat as they were dancing around in their seats to Twice's CHEER UP. I surely felt like a piece of paper by the end of the flight.

The horrendous flight thankfully ended before my eyes. It may sound that I hate my hyungs, but get me straight, they were out of control. We all met one by one, at the Seoul Korean Airport, waiting for our rides home.

"Ding-dong"

I waited patiently outside of my house waiting to be greeted with hugs and kisses from my parents. Instead, there still was silence.

"Ding-ding-dong"

I stepped back from the doorbell and waited longer, holding my hands together. There still was no response.

"Aish, weren't they supposed to know I was coming?" I muttered under my breath.

"Ding-ding-dingdingdingding-dinnnnnnnng-DONG"

"That should do it." I stepped back from the doorbell once again, with my hands back to their original position.

The door slammed open, with my mom shouting "Aish, pizza man calm down! What do you wan-"

She then imitated my infamous face, Jungshook, when she saw who it really was. Then quickly blushed embarrassedly at me, closing her eyes.

"Heh, son, sorry about that...." she babbled while laughing it off.

"I missed you sooooooooo much!" she cried, running into my arms, kissing my forehead nonstop.

"I think I understand how you must be feeling now mom!!" I faintly chuckled

"You can stop now..." I told her.

"Ugh! Lo...ok.. at you, you gr..ew..so much my dear! It's bee.....n too... lo....ng!" my mom sniffled in between her words squishing me even tighter.

She slowly released her arms from me and realized something. We walked into our home sweet home, as my mom turned to face me.

"I nearly forgot to tell you this!" she began.

"I invited friends and family to come over today for a family reunion!" she clapped excitedly. "But I need some help..."

"I can help. What do you need help with?" I answered, waiting for her answer.

"Could you run to the local corner store to grab some produce for tonight's dinner dear?" she requested.

I accepted the request and rushed down the streets to the closest corner shop I could find. This corner store was very different from the other stores on the block. The store's lights flashed repeatably like they were going to burst any second and the bricks were worn out and chipped. I stepped into the store as the door made a 'ding' sound. The multiple aisles in the store were stocked top to bottom with goods.

"Hello! Welcome to the Cookie Crisp corner store! How may I help you?" The female clerk cheered as I walked in, waving her hands to me.

"Oh, uh... thank y-you for offering but I t-think I'm a-alright" I stuttered to the female clerk, walking fastly away from her.

I walked around the store searching for the items I needed on the list mom wrote for me.

"Beets... check. Uh.. ginger... check. Sage...." I mumbled to myself, checking off the items on the list until when I turned the corner to the next aisle. There was a book laying on the middle of the floor. I shoved the list in my back pocket and walked slowly, looking behind and in front of me to see if anyone left it behind. I crouched down to pick up the book. I flipped the book back and forth in my hands discovering the unusual aspects the book treasured. The book had no book cover, it was completely blank. Nor did it have an author. There were no words written on or inside of the book, only except for the words engraved on the back of the book,

"It's the unexpected that changes our lives"
