Rose wasn't ready to believe me, because I had no proof to prove it to her that I actually saw a girl, we did move on to some other topic but I couldn't stop thinking about that girl and her words,
"Let's grab something to eat," She suggested,
I nodded,
We entered our usual go-to place,
"Hey day dreamer!" Someone yelled, I brought my senses back to reality. "Earth to Abby!" Rosa yelled, Wesker laughed as I focused on my cheese sandwich.
"Where ya lost at?" He asked me,
"In hope worlds," I replied,
"Gosh, wouldn't they be a promising euphoria for you?" Rose asked, all of laughed,
"Now, seriously, what are you thinking of so deeply?" She asked me,
"That girl," I said.
"What girl?" Wesker said.
Rosa narrated him the whole thing that happened on the footpath,
"Wait, are you serious?" He asked.
"Yeah, why?" I said nodding.
"You won't believe this, but I saw something really strange today too!" He said,
"Really, like what?" Rose asked,
"I saw a piece of paper lying there, on the road, I leaned in and saw that it was some drawing, I ignored it and continued walking..." He explained,
"...as I was gonna turn from the signal, I saw that same drawing lying there, I couldn't believe it, but the drawing was absolutely the same," He said,
"What was the drawing about?"
"Does that really matter?"
"Maybe?"
"It was about a little girl in a red dress, behind her was her house I think, and ofcourse a sun in the corner of the paper,"
"Can this connect to the same girl, I saw on the footpath?"
"Could be a coincidence?"
"Like this? Isn't it a little too hard to believe?"
"It maybe, you know, a sign?"
"Sign of what?"
"You know, the creepy shit related to that board?"
"We haven't touched that since days,"
"Not like it has an on off button?"
"Get serious for once, Wes,"
"Calm down, I mean, it could literally just be a coincidence,"
But then, what I saw behind Wesker, on another lunch table, made a shiver slide down my spine and my skin covered with goosebumps,
"Guys?" I said shivering.
"What?" Rosa asked curiously.
"Turn behind," I said pointing to the table.
"Darren!?" They both the exclaimed.
"How the hell is this even possible?" Wesker yelled, everybody around looked at us in a weird way,
"This is not serious," Wesker said.
"Then why are we seeing illusions?"" I said focusing on what I'm seeing, also, to make sure, I wasn't dreaming, I rubbed my eyes,
"Jesus," Rosa exclaimed,
"What do we do?" I asked,
Darren whispered something, vanished into thin air.
"He said something," Rosa noticed,
"He did, but what?" I asked,
"He said," Wesker said as he stopped in between.
"Be aware."
"Are you sure?" Rosa asked getting back on the table.
"We used to play a game, which we called Clue and Run. We teamed up and the person from each team gave their team a clue to how to reach a certain place. In that, if there was danger ahead, the person would say Be Aware. That's what he's trying to do." Wesker explained us.
"It's all making sense now," I said getting the link.
"I think we need help," Rosa said.
"From where? Our parents? They will think we are being paranoid, nothing else," I said.
"Who said parents?" Rosa asked and all of us were looking at her,
"Then who?" Wesker asked.
"Darren!" Rosa and me, both yelled in unison.
"The Ouija Board story comes again!" Wesker said and we hurried to my house, to grab the Ouija Board.
We were gonna contact Darren,
"Wait hold on, Wesker, did you tell Darren's parents about, your confession?" Rose asked,
"Yeah, I said he slipped and hit his head on the pole,"
"Really? That's what you could come up with? What happened to the 'Darren is my best friend and I'll do this for him' side of you?"
"You guys need me further ahead,"
"Don't be so sure,"
"I'm not sure, I'm confident,"
"You both sound ridiculous," I said,
