O M N I S C I E N T

Ximena sat behind her wheel as she looked at John's car that parked in front of hers. She had been debating on whether or not she should go inside, because she knew he'll get all riled up at the fact that she wasn't home before him doing housewife chores.

Taking the keys fully out of the ignition, Ximena gathered her purse and both phones. Stuffing the less expensive burner cell at the bottom of her Birkin bag, she finally stepped out of the car. Her heels scraped against the driveway as she dreadfully sauntered her way to the front door.

She hated her marriage.

She missed how it use to be.

When she could do whatever she pleased, be sufficed with her career and tell her  husband all about it without him judging  her way of life. She hated that he was trying to force her to be something she  wasn't. She wasn't a housewife that catered to her husband hand and foot. Instead she was a hard working woman when she wasn't out being scandalous. She actually took her career serious when she was playing good cop.

Opening the door,  she stood in the foyer hanging up her keys on the key hook. Walking against the crystal porcelain tile floors,  her heels clicked to the sound of her steps.  "John! "She called for him as she was now standing in the sitting room as John called it.

"In here Mena."He leaned against the the  threshold of the opening to the kitchen.

The  look  on  his  face  showed  that  he  was  upset  as  he  downed  the  rest  of  his glass of  Jim  Beam  black  liquor. "My  parents  came  here  today. They  were  expecting  you."He  glanced  up  from  the  rim  of  his  glass  that  his  index  finger  trailed  around.

Ximena  looked  up  at  her  husband before looking  down  at  her  hands. "Patty  did tell me she  was  coming  by, I'm  sorry  John, the  station  needed  me  to  file  through  a few  files  about  a  case  that  we're  handing  over  to  the  FBI. It's  a  bit  hectic down  there ." She  spoke. She  was  actually telling  the  truth, but  the  way  John  was looking  at  her, he  didn't believe an  ounce of  it.

"That  explains  why  you  went  to  the  precinct in heels?"He  raised a brow  questioningly.

"Honey, I  wasn't on  duty, I was just helping out.'

"So you had a choice to stay home?"

"Yes I did."Ximena  clarified. "And I chose to  go pursue my career  like  you  do when  you're flying  to  England  and  China  to  perform  surgeries."

John  looked at her as if she had lost every part of her mind. "My damn career is important! What do you do? Keep street thugs off the streets where they belong? I'm saving lives out here and keeping this household whole. The only day my parents are in town from Manchester to see their daughter in law, you're out filing through fucking folders!"He jeered at Ximena.

Then the argument began.

"You're so damn full of yourself. And your parents aren't that important John, they see me all the damn time. And yes, I filed through each and everyone of those folders because that's what I'm passionate about!" Ximena sneered as her face was beginning to grow heated.

John always had a way to grow her vex. He was always on her back about leaving the police profession to men who could handle it, but he never realized that Ximena was a woman who could handle it. She has gotten thus far as an officer and she wasn't willing to quit because her husband wanted to have a bullshit ass lunch with his parents that asked her the same questions every time, "When are we getting grandkids?"

"My parents aren't important? Ximena how foolish do you sound? You're nothing! You've been nothing ever since you've gotten in this fucked up career path. You aren't a lady any more, you no longer do things you have to do!"He fumed. "What woman rather go out to a bar and drink beer than come home and cook a meal for her husband who has been gone for weeks. I should've never gave you the privilege of becoming my wife."

Ximena chuckled as she pushed past him into the kitchen. "I'm not some sad ass woman that likes to wait hand and foot for a man that can barely keep it up. The least you could do is please me so I feel obligated to do some sort of thing. I'm not Patty! I'm not going to quit my job so I could cook you meatloaf for dinner every week."

John followed into the kitchen. "You're right! You're not my mother! You're an embarrassment!"

"If I'm such an embarrassment then why are you still with me!?"She reached up in the cabinet to grab the pills that she had forgotten to give LeCray once she had left the house. Right now he was probably having the worst migraine ever and the yelling the both of them were doing wasn't helping either.

John planted his hands down on the marble counter tops while his head hung low. "Because I love you, the old you."He stated before shamelessly walking away. He had the tendency of making Ximena think, think back to the past. She was so use to people controlling her, and now that she was living a new life as Ximena Reagan, she vowed to never let anyone controll her again.

Yet here she was going back on her word. Running her fingers stressfully through her hair, she let out a loud frustrating groan. She had been down this path with Le'Cray  when she was much younger and he was well. He had began telling her what he expected from her and what she can and could not do. This, drived her insane. With her batteling sickle cell, there were months that she couldn't do a thing but stay home and get better. And even then,Le'Cray made her cook, clean and take care of Jhenea, the best she could. To be in her twenties, she wasn't even on the verge of getting her life together. All she wanted to do was be the opposite of whatever Le'Cray wanted her to be. Now sixteen years has past and she still found herself wanting to be rebellious and be the, — well— opposite.

Keeping her composure at bay, she readjusted her unkempt demeanor. Taking a deep breath in and exhaling out camly, she walked out the kitchen. Trudging slowly towards John's study where she knew he had burried himself into, she battled her opposing thoughts of kissing his ass. Ridding her mind of them, she pushed the door open peaking through the opening. "What do you want for dinner?"She asked. As much as she wanted to seeth through this bullshit facade and tear him to pieces with slandering words, she couldn't.

"An I'm sorry would fill me right up."He looked up at her from behind his mahogany desk.

Biting on the inner part of her cheek, she looked down at her feet chuckling so she could mask her anger. "We'll take that one step at a time dear. Lets start by telling me what do you want to eat."

Folding his hands underneath his chin, he thought for a moment. "Salmon and asparagus with whole grain rice."

"Red or white wine?"She questioned.

"Red, I want to feel buzzed before I go to bed."He answered.

With that, Ximena faught against her urge to jeer her words at him. Shutting the door behind her, Ximena returned to the kitchen where she grabbed two pill capsules in a napkin and poured a cup of water from the pitcher. Walking up the spiral staircase, she trekked off to the room where Le'Cray was kept. Reaching the door, Ximena balanced the glass of water in the same hand that held the pills as she reached in her pocket to grab the key to Le'Cray's room. Unlocking the door, the darkness of the room embraced her. "Le'Cray. "She called for him setting the glass of water and napkin onto the dresser.

Feeling against the wall, she flicked the switch on noticing the bed was empty.  "Oh God what has that man gotten into now. " She mumbled stepping further into the bedroom.  She walked over to the bathroom seeing that it was also empty.  Next to the bathroom was his closet that she also realized was empty.

Growing frantic, she began to look in absurd places like underneath the bed and behind doors, basically searching every inch of the room. "Le'Cray!"She shouted as she jolted out of the bedroom before barging into the other rooms upstairs.

"Le'Cray, please don't upset me!"She shouted again barging into the last room upstairs, her and John's bedroom, which was empty and left no trace of Le'Cray.

She galloped down the stairs hearing the clacking of her heels in a much quicker pace. "John where is he?!"She burst into his office.

"Mena, I'm on the phone."He gritted at her.

Hurrying to his desk, she pressed the button to hang up the phone before snatching the reciever from his ear and carelessly placing it onto the holder. "I know you know where he so I suggest you tell me right now!"John looked at her as if she were mad. This was what he meant when he said she no longer acted like a lady.

Pushing her bottom from the top of his desk, he turned his desk chair slightly to face her. "He left."He answered with a shrug of his shoulders.

"Where!?"Ximena shouted.

"He left with his mother, Lynola. She came to get him at half an hour past noon, if you were here you would have had knowledge of this."

Jhenea sat on Morgan's couch having conversation. It had been a while since all four of them got together to hang since Morgan and Sam was getting ready for prom and Aven and Jhenea were getting ready for graduation. Life was quickly biting at their heels so it was nice being able just to chill like old times.

"Little miss 'I got a boyfriend thats older than me' don't have time for ne no more." Morgan pursed her lips as she looked over at Jhenea with a side eye causing everyone to laugh.

"Shadyyyyyyy!"Aven exclaimed.

Jhenea looked up from a message that Anthony just sent to her while everyone around her was clowning. "I know you aren't talking Mr Barber, aren't you talking to Gina the nail tech?"Jhenea raised a taunting brow at Aven.

"Spill the tea Ven and it better be hot." Morgan began to pry.

Aven shook his head with a little laugh as he twisted one of his dreads that fell out of the messy bun he had it in. "You way outta' pocket wit' that one Jhen. But me and Gina don't got shit goin' on, I bought her lunch and she sucked a nigga up, cool ass chick though." Aven shrugged unashamed of his game.

Jhenea shook her head in disgust. She knew Aven was a boy, but by the way he treated her and Morgan with so much respect she never thought he'll be dogging some other female. "My nigga!"Sam slapped hands with him resulting in Jhenea hitting him with a pillow after she threw one at Aven.

"Seem like you haven't changed since we last seen each other."Morgan also shook her head disappointingly.

The room caved in silence as everyone indulged into their technology, surprisingly, even Jhenea, who was texting Anthony, who was getting his leg cast removed.

"We've been away from each other for that long that we have absolutely nothing to talk about any more, we're a disgrace."Sam broke the silence as she locked his phone tossing it over to Morgan's lap.

It was true. They all were living seperate lives and basically growing up. Aven was always working now, Morgan either stayed with Sam all day or was out doing make up for other female students who had their prom and graduation earlier than their school, Sam was either always with Morgan or at work at his dad's gym and Jhenea had now gotten back into sketching an painting, but was now recieving profit for it. With a little push from Anthony, she began selling her art on a website for amateur artist like herself.

Everybody just been busy and with their life only becoming more and more hectic, they all were running out of things to talk about once they all were caught up with each other's lives.

Aven agreed with Sam. "If you and yo' pet sheep picked up the phone this would have been done a whole lot sooner and we still would've had shit to talk about."Aven stated to Sam all the while insulting Morgan.

"Not even gonna go at it with your nappy head ass. Lets talk about this party we're going to tonight."Morgan smiled widely as she stood up in front of everyone.

Jhenea was a bit iffy about going to another party. She had been to only two her whole life and even then she thought she partied way to much. "I'll pass."She shook her head no still looking down at her phone while texting Anthony.

Morgan scrunched up her face at her bestfriend. "Fuck you mean you'll pass? Bitch you're going end of discussion. Or we gotta get the say so from Anthony first?"

Sam and Aven laughed at Morgan's slight jab at Jhenea. "She trying yo' gangsta' Jhen." He egged on the situation.

Jhenea looked at Morgan with a playful side eye. "You damn right I have to check in with him. Unlike you, I'm not afraid to tell people my dude got me in check just as much as I have him in check."She smirked.

"Sam know better boo, but call his ass up because we gotta know ASAP so I can tell Carson to get some entry tickets for us." Morgan informed.

Jhenea rolled her eyes knowing that she was about to call Anthony even after Morgan just clowned her for her always having to check in. Getting up from the couch, Jhenea began dialing Anthony's number.

"Where you going sugar lumps?" Morgan  questioned with an amused smirk.

Jhenea shot back a small glare at her while she held the phone to her ear as she proceeded out of the door. Shutting it behind her, Anthony had finally picked up. "Whass' up love?"

"Hey, how's your leg?"Jhenea questioned knowing that he had to get adapted to the now unfamiliar feeling of having both legs to walk on.

She heard a bit of shuffling in the back ground before it settled. "It's straight. That nurse had me fucked up bendin' my leg all the way back, but other than that I'm good. Never knew I would appreciate walkin' so much."

Jhenea chuckled lightly as he fumed in frustration. "At least your walking now, but I called to ask you something."

"Money?"He assumed. "You know ion' got no problem wit' you straight up askin' for it instead of beatin' around the bush?" Anthony was very giving and he always tried to make Jhenea understand that, but she was too afraid to over step her boundaries so she rarely asked him for money, but that didn't mean he never offered.

"Anthony can you just stop thinking about money for a second."

"I can't, it's in my DNA."He stated seriously causing Jhenea to laugh.

Rerouting the conversation back to what she was initially trying to get out, she quit laughing. "No, but Morgan invited me to this party tonight wanted to know if you approve of me going."

"That one Carson puttin' together?"He questioned.

She nodded her head. "I assume so."

"Who all gone be steppin' out wit'chu?"He questioned again this time sounding a little bit reluctant.

Sighing, Jhenea began to prepare herself for the amount of questions he was about to ask. "Morgan, Sam, and Aven."She responded.

Anthony rubbed his goatee thinking of all the possible shit his girl could get into while she was out thottin' with Morgan. "Sam that lil' white boy?"

"Yes."Jhenea answered with a curt laugh.

Anthony debated on whether or not he should let her go. He really liked when she stayed in the house, read books and sketched her day away. He loved the fact that she was a sheltered individual because he knew once she stepped out niggas would be throwing themselves her way because for one, she was beautiful as hell with a sassy ass mouth to match and two, she was untouched. Niggas were crazy for girls who haven't been around so they could corrupt them. Thats exactly why Anthony made grabs at her in the first place. "We'll be out there."He confirmed with her.  "You stepping' out wit' me to buy somethin' to wear or you good?"

Jhenea knew he always had one condition so it wasn't surprising to hear that he was stepping out with her.  "Depends on how long I have to wait for you to pick me up."

He let out a short chuckle knowing that she was gonna go with him anyways.  "Chill wit' yo' folks for a lil' bit and we'll be out. "

"How long is a 'lil bit'?"She raised her brow.

"Gimme two hours max, love."

"Two hours? Thats a long time. What will you be doing for two full sets of sixty minutes? I haven't seen you all day Mason." She groaned in a melodramatic manner.

Anthony chuckled a bit at her infantile ways. "Remember when I said we gone be gleamin' together?"He took her silence as a yes. "Two hours is whats it takes for me to flip some shit to make some more shit so we can gleam baybeh' so be good for me and wait two hours."

Sighing defeatedly. "Okay. You take longer than two hours then we're gonna have problems. "

"I fuck wit' problems."He smirked.

"Bad ones?"

"Even better."He chuckled.  "But on some real, I gotta get goin' so I ca' make it back to you in two hours. Don't do nothin' without my consent."

"Yes sir."

After saying their goodbyes, the phone call went dead and Jhenea returned inside the house after pouting for a good thirty seconds about her not seeing him for an additional two hours.

"What did father say?"Morgan asked from the kitchen as she placed ice cubes in four different cups.

Jhenea smiled slightly as she sat at the counter since Aven and Sam were already indulging into a game of NBA 2K on the XBox. "He said I can go, but we're stepping out together."Jhenea enlightened Morgan.

Morgan began to pout herself. Nothing personal against Anthony, but she just wanted Jhenea to be showing out like she was at the last party. It was fun seeing her shy ass sheltered best friend get turnt and sing along to songs that no one expected her to know. Now since Anthony was going, she knew Jhenea wouldn't be able to dance nor would she be able to socialize like she was able to do last time. She's just gonna be booed up in the corner with Anthony leaving Morgan to turn up by herself like a sad bestie. "Why grandpa gotta come, aint he crippled?"

Jhenea shrugged her shoulders with a slight laugh. "No, he officially got all his cast off. He just have the stitches on his side that he can tolerate. But, him going was one condition so I could go."She explained.

"So no turnt Jhen tonight?"She sulked pouring sweet tea into all four cups before handing one over to Jhen.

Jhenea nodded. "Of course, just to a certain extent so he won't go on a phsyco rampage. "She and Morgan laughed.

Anthony was finally back on the scene without any cast hindering him.

"Nigga became uncrippled and the first thing he wanna do is drive."Ashton laughed from the passenger seat.

Anthony couldn't help but laugh along with  him. If it wasn't evident, Anthony had a huge thing for driving, thats where his like for cars ignited from. He liked driving so much because that was the first thing that allowed him and his mother to actually bond. She taught him how to drive so it was always something to remind him that he and his mother could get along when they weren't going at each other's heads. "You really thought I was goin' to let you drive this fuckin' Porsche for that long of a distance, stop playin' yo' self."He eyed Ashton slightly before settings his eyes back onto the road of I-10

"Bitch fuck you."He nudged Anthony's head a bit. "But why you lie to ole girl talkin' about two hours? Nigga it take about two hours to get to the Bridge."

The boys were headed to Breaux Bridge to  handle some business with an interested vendor and the both of them were excited to be entering New Orleans with something new that no one had even heard if. Imported from Dominican Republic, it was bound to be something good, Ashton had a good feeling about this since he was the one who referred Anthony to Los, the vendor.

Anthony licked his lips with a chuckle thinking about how heated she was about to be. "She'll be good, just a lil' mad, but I'm sure I'll be able to finesse this drive and get there in a hour and some change." Anthony stated to Ashton as he switched over to another lane that was much emptier than the one he was in prior.

"Nigga you'on need to be finessin' shit. I aint to fond of bein' in car accidents so chill out especially on the interstate."Ashton complained as he strapped on his seat belt.

Stepping his foot on the brake due to his lane slowing down because of traffic he mugged Ashton. "You a whole bitch."

After driving for a whole hour and twenty eight minutes, the guys had finally arrived to the other city. The small population of people in the city caused the area to seem scarce until they reached the neighborhood they were supposed to be in.

"This shit seem sketchy as fuck, they got us pullin' up at house?"Anthony furrowed his brows as he parked the car in the drive way of the small platform house that was painted a bright cyan blue color with dusty white gutters at the top.

Ashton shrugged his shoulder. "I know this nigga, he wouldn't try no shit like that, but you know ion' put shit past nobody so I'm strapped."Ashton stepped out of the car adjusting his gun into his waist band while Anthony grabbed his from the gove compartment before grabbing the duffle in the back seat.

Checking if his gun was loaded he then slid his onto his side before putting his navy blue Timberland shirt over it. "Why I feel like these niggas don't  know how to conduct business, dumb asses got the brightest house on the block."Anthony chuckled as he covered Ashton while he went to go knock on the door.

"If they aint got what you lookin' for I'm willin' to let you talk shit the whole ride home, but if they do, you gotta give me props." Ashton stated as Anthony handed him over the duffle bag. This wasn't Ashton's element, he never really scouted for business expansion that was more of Carson's thing. Ashton was good at bargaining. He either lowered the price for them to pay or set it higher for them to gain more money. He was just good at persuading and getting money from people. He was honestly slick as hell.

"We'll see how it goes Ash."Anthony chuckled as he waited for the door to open.

After a quick moment of waiting, the door was opened by an elderly man that greyed all throughout. "You're here for Losnic, I assume?"

Ashton turned to eye Anthony weirdly. "Ion' know no Losnic, but I know a Los, so if we talkin' about the same person then I think you ca' help me out."Ashton said to the man causing Anthony to stiffle a laugh. The boy was a whole character.

"Come on in."The man stepped aside opening the door a tad bit larger for both gentelmen to step inside.

The different mixtures of smell burned the nose of the men. It was new to them causing them both to cover their noses immediately. Stepping all over the dingy ran down carpet, the elderly man locked the door behind them. Anthony examined his surroundings not to impressed with the revolting look of the home. He was an absolute clean freak so it was bothering him being in a unkempt place like this.

As the man led the two of them to some back room, Anthony watched where he stepped in his Timbs since there were fresh stains being soaked in by the dingy carpet. "Shit smell like piss and ass."Ashton mumbled loud enough for only Anthony to hear.

"These yo' people man. At least Carson pick the clean folks. I'm not even gone shake this nigga's hand when I see him since his place look a mess like this."Anthony said loud and clear not really caring that the elderly man could hear what he said.

The elderly man let out a small laugh before halting at a shut door. Knocking on it, the men heard the multiple tumblers of the locks click before it granted access to the room. Being pulled open by someone on the other side of the door, the men were able to step in, excluding the older guy.

Anthony stood behind Ashton watching three guys either cooking something up, wrapping it in saran wrap or stacking the bricks up against the wall. The work seemed legit to Anthony, but it didn't matter what they were doing, it matter how efficient the product was.

Anthony watched as Ashton interacted with a particular man that he was assuming was Los. "And this my homie A3."Ashton introduced Anthony to Los.

"Whass' up A3."Los held his hand out for Anthony to dap up with him, but Anthony just kept his hands burried into his pockets leaving Los' hand hanging there.

Anthony had already told Ashton before he stepped into the room that he wasn't shaking nobody's hand, the least he could've did was inform Los to save him from the embarrassment.

Ashton shook his head at Anthony before looking back to Los. "Excuse this low mannered fuck."Ashton spewed at Anthony causing him to chuckle lowly with his hands still deep in his pockets. "But, what you got for us?"Ashton rerouted the conversation back to business.

"What we stackin' up right hea' is somethin' local, but what I got for yall is some new shit. Follow me."He walked through the room which lead to another door with a tight enclosed entrace.

Anthony involuntarily slipped into the entrance since he was getting pushed by Ashton.

The room began to expand as they ventured off into it. In the room there were opened wooden crates that had bricks stacked up to the top. The bricks smelt fresh immediately causing Ashton to rub his hands together in eagerness. "This right here is that 20-80% shit. I shouldn't have to speak no further." Los smirked as he picked up one of the bricks from a stack and placed it on a nearby workshop table. Grabbing a box cutter, Los sliced the plastic before laying it flat down on all four sides. Ashton and Anthony watched in amazement as the brick began to crumble down slowly since it no longer had the plastic holding it together. Los definitely had their money now.

"Baking soda?"Ashton questioned hoping that it wasn't because that would loose his interest immediately.

Los shook his head no. "Ammonia. Its stronger."He stated causing both of the men to agree.

"How much you sellin'?"Anthony asked. Those were the first words Los ever heard him say and he was definitely pleased with them.

"31 a brick."Los answered.

Ashton and Anthony looked at each other trying to decipher whether or not it would be worth it. Ashton shrugged letting it be known that it was honestly Anthony's choice to go further or not.

"Gimme thirteen. Calculate that and half it, I'll pay you that amount right now and the rest you get back after I flip it, with intrest." Anthony invested.

Ashton stood next to Los as he pressed numbers on the calculator.  Even with the simplest shit Ashton still couldn't trust you . "$201,500."Los announced.

Anthony nodded his head sufficed with the pricing.  "Cool." Anthony carried the duffle over to another near by table.

Unzipping the bag, stacks of money was organized neatly inside of it.  Since Ashton,  Carson and Anthony sat and counted all of the money themselves, he was assured that there was $10,000 in each bundle. Setting out twenty bundles,  he set aside $200,000 dollars for Los. "Yo' Ash, you got five on you?"

Ashton scoffed at Anthony."The only nigga that leave his money in the car."He shook his head as he pulled out a stack from his pocket shuffling through it for five hundreds.

Peeling it away from the stack, Ashton handed it to Anthony who placed it on one of the bundles that was set aside for Los. Still having two more bundles left in his duffle bag,  Anthony zipped it up holding it in hand.

"Ight Los, we got ten in each bundle giving you twenty bundles plus yo' five up hea' now wiegh my shit up for me"Ashton explained to Los.

After watching Los weigh up thirteen brick percisely, the guys were out of the home carrying another duffle bag to the addition to the one they carried in.

Fifteen minutes away from New Orleans, Anthony reached for his phone realizing he hadn't checked it since he was back at Breaux Bridge. He scrolled through it seeing six miss calls from Jhenea. He was certainly in for it.

Sighing dreadfully, he prepared to have his ear talked off by her. Pressing on her contact he held the phone to his ear. "What the hell happened to two hours? Now if I had done this you would have been jumping down my throat, right?" Jhenea answered the phone not really caring to greet him or anything.

"Two hours ended up longer than I thought. Why so hostile?"He smirked knowing he was getting under her skin with the nonchalant shit he pulled every time she was upset.

On the other side of the phone, Jhenea had her eyes slit as she bit on the inner side of her cheek in anger. "Don't do that jackass. You know exactly why the hell I'm so damn hostile. You got your leg cast off and you think you could just run off on me like I won't cripple your ass again?" Aven, Sam and Morgan listened in on the convesation from the living room while she stood in the kitchen, they were all having a fit of laughter as Jhenea fumed in anger. "The  hell took you five hours Anthony?"

Anthony laughed a bit. It wasn't usual for her to act this way. She never really questioned where he was but when two hours turned into five, she grew suspicious. "Baybeh' I was workin' I promise, Ashton right hea' wit' me."Anthony said truthfully.

Jhenea scoffed. "You really think Ashton free agent ass is enough for me to not be upset? I just wanna punch you in your face." She groaned in frustration. "When you get here in less than 5 minutes block your damn face cause I'm jawing you in your face."

Anthony let out a teasing laugh amused at what she was saying. "Ight, but here's the issue, I gotta take Ashton to his car so give me twenty minutes."

Jhenea shook her head. "You have fifteen minutes Anthony Mason Marcel Taylor."

"Will do Jhenea A'mei Amreeyell."He laughed at her anger.

With that, Jhenea hung up with a roll of her eyes. "Anthony Mason Marcel Taylor."Aven mocked her. "Even my momma don't say that long ass shit, she get tired once she get to Marcel, she just end that shit with Mason." Aven clowned causing everyone to laugh.

"Why is his name so damn long anyways?" Jhenea asked with a raise of her brow.

Aven shrugged. "My mom and dad couldn't decide since they already started the whole if it's a boy the name gonna start with an A, thing. My mom wanted Mason, my older brother wanted Marcel and my dad wanted Anthony so they combined that shit." he  explained.

Jhenea hung around a bit longer before she got a phone call from Anthony informing her that he was out side. Gathering her things she hugged a dramatic Morgan goodbye even though they were certainly seeing each other later.

Stepping outside and walking to the car, Anthony smiled widely at her causing her to roll her eyes. He unlocked the doors allowing her to get in. Jhenea sat with her seatbelt on and her arms folded. "I came in ten minutes, why you still made for?"He chuckled as he reversed out if the parking space.

Jhenea turned her head to look at him. "Dogs get mad, I'm angry."

Anthony fell into a fit of laughter before taking her hand into his. Placing it in front of his lips he kissed it every so often as he repeated "I'm sorry."to her.

Rolling her eyes playfully, she smiled. "Okay Anthony I get it."She snatched her hand out of his.

"Now give ya' man a kiss."He turned on his emergency lights so he could pull over.

Extra.

Turning in an angle, Jhenea kissed his lips. "You missed me." He pulled her back to kiss her lips repeatedly.

"Don't flatter yourself."She rolled her eyes.

After a while, they both had their outfits and were at Anthony's place getting dressed. "Okay Ant stop I have to attempt to fix my hair."She pushed Anthony off of her while he kissed and nibbled on her neck.

He was already dressed in a pair of white jeans that had rips at the knees, an extended grey acid washed tee that he topped with a denim button down. Since he couldn't find a pair of shoes he liked at the mall, he decided to rock a pair of gold Concords from his closet. He didn't want to do too much with the accessories so he wore his earrings, rocked two gold chains and a simple gold watch. It wasn't too slight, but it also wasn't too much. In his defensive, he thought Jhenea had him wearing to many bright colors, but he had to admit, it looked good put all together.

At the moment, Jhenea was only dressed in her ripped jeans while she still sported a bra around since she didn't want to get any hair on her top. "Hurry yo ass up then."He rushed her before walking off and leaving the bathroom.

After Jhenea revived her curls, she was off to put on her top. She also was a bit skeptical about her choice of attire because it showed a lot of her midriff. It was certain if she lifted up her arms her whole bra would show, but it was Anthony approved so she was fine. He noticed that he was a tad bit abrassive towards Jhenea when it came to making choices on her own. So for tonight, and tonight only, he was willing to let her wear anything that allowed a bra. It took a lot for him to bite his tongue when she chosed the mini shirt, but he stuck it out.

"Is my hair okay?"She asked still trying to perfect the placement of her curls. Recently, she had averted from her long pink hair into a cherry red color that she cut into a bob. Getting into the habit of trying risky colors, she loved it, and so did Anthony. He claimed the pink caused his stomach to churn, but the red soothed everything out.

"Perfect."Anthony licked his lips. "You look gorgeous."He complimented before pulling her in by the waist.

He kissed her lips grabbing an ample amount of her rear. She was beyond beautiful right now and he didn't know how he was going to refrain himself from either keeping his hands off of her, or beating any nigga's ass for staring at her for to long. With her birthday only a few months away she was maturing more and more and it displayed through her acrylic nails, like in make up, and how she got her hair done now. She no longer kept it subtle, she wanted to be as outside of the box as she could and Anthony loved it.

After Anthony had his fun feeling up on her for a while, the couple was out and driving towards the party.

The venue Carson chose wasn't too far from Anthony's spot so it only took him about eight minutes to get there. The whole club vibe was lame so Carson took it upon himself to rent out the biggest building that was available to him so he could throw this party.

Morgan, Aven and Sam had already arrived twenty minutes prior to Anthony and Jhenea and they had already been absorbed into the crowd.

Outside,  Anthony finessed an imaginary parking space in between a fire hydrant and a tree. He assisted Jhenea out before they walked hand in hand through the entrance and to the party.

Music popped their ear drums as the crowd's enjoyment pulsated through the room while the rhythm of the beat vibrated the walls and floors. The room was so packed that people no longer had a choice, but to be shoulder to shoulder with someone. Anthony held Jhenea's waist firmly in front of him as he guided her where to go. Spotting Carson and his people on the far left of the room, Anthony guided Jhenea over. "So you finally stepped out the house for yo' boy party?" Carson smiled showing his bottom grill as he slapped hands with Anthony.

"Had to show some love and show my face. " Anthony laughed.

Jhenea spotted Morgan's bushy hair that was in a high ponytail not to far from her brother. She slipped out of Anthony's grip attempting to leave, but she only got pulled back by her wrist causing a halt in Carson and Anthony's conversation. "Where you goin'?" Anthony spoke near her ear so she could hear him over the thumping sound of   YFN Lucci's and PnB Rock's song Everday We Lit.

Jhenea stood on her tippy toes stabalizing herself with hands on his shoulders so she could speak near his ear as well. "I see Morgan, I promise not to go to far."She assured him.

"Ight, but text me if a nigga stare to hard." He joked seriously before she was off walking alone through the party.

Anthony was going through a stage where he began to realize that he was a tad bit too controlling so tonight, he was trying to ease up, just like he had done about the out fit. At Aven's kick back he noticed that when Jhenea had fun, she really did have fun aside from the whole fucking Rahmel situation. It was nice for Anthony to see his girl who went from hating any and everything about the outside world to now asking him can she go out to a party. He noticed a real big development in her and he didn't want to brag or anything, but he knew he was the cause of it.

As Jhenea partied with her friends, Anthony stood around Carson chilling with him. Soon, Ashton popped up with Lamont and it was just like old times, except they didn't have to sneak into this party. The four boys together, a few blunts and liquor caused them all to loosen up especially Anthony. He stood up on a table with a blunt in one hand, a bottel in the other while he did a little jig to the music and surprisingly, he was on beat.

On the other side of the party, Jhenea clung onto Morgan who was having a ball with her hands on her knees and shaking her little booty for Jhenea. Sam stood aside hyping his girl friend up while Aven was getting thrown ass from left to right. Girls attracted to him from all different parts of the room and he would have them shake their ass for him before he'll send them off to swap them for another. "Okay, my back hurt, I haven't been a thot in to long." Morgan stood up straight from her arch causing Jhenea to laugh.

Jhenea bopped her head to the music while rapping along to Tee Grizzley's song First Day Out. "Yes I slap girl, yes I slap dog, yes I slap loud! Yes I'll slap a pussy nigga if he act out! Yes I caught cases on the road with them killers! Bro kill me if I snitch, cause if you snitch I'm gon' kill you!"

The party only got more and more packed.  A few fights broke out causing Anthony to sober up a bit and grab Jhenea, but it wasn't much to damper the mood. Aven and Sam ended up going to hang with a few guys they knew and Carson made it mandatory for Morgan to stay near him just incase some shit did pop off again. Anthony  held tight to Jhenea as she swayed to the music. Every so often she'll tilt her head up for a kiss or he'll bend his head down for one.

Sooner or later, girls began to flock the section and that too became packed. Anthony's buzz settled back in and before he knew he was back to partying with his bros leaving Jhenea with Morgan.

Morgan had Jhenea's hands on her knees while she shook her ass to the song. While she danced her eyes caught sight of a groupie flocking Anthony's presence for a tad bit too long. She stood up quickly making sure to eye him so he could notice he had to correct the wrong aspect of the situation. He shot her a taunting wink before stepping off of the table away from the girl. He held his hands up in surrender to show that he hadn't done anything Jhenea rolled her eyes before eying the girl who later stepped off of the table as well.

Jhenea watched as the girl still tried to get close to Anthony.  It was aggravating her so she decided to step in since Anthony wanted to act all nice and not to the girl stop smelling him. Brushing against a few people, Jhenea had finally made it arms reach to Anthony who slightly pushed the girl aside.

Jhenea wrapped her arms around Anthony's waist clinging on to his chest.  Anthony rested his hand on her ass caressing it as he took a shot from Lamont. Jhenea looked behind Anthony at the girl who stared at her as well. Jhenea then stuck her tongue out in a teasing manner  before grabbing Anthony's chin and kissing his lips.

"You petty."He smirked down at her.

"Just like you."She responded laying her head back onto his chest

The party was still in full speed as Jhenea had now sat on Anthony's lap so they could chill out a bit.

They vibed to the music as people came in and out of Carson's section. Aven had made his way in the section along with Sam as they shared a blunt. Jhenea and Morgan steered clear of the party paraphernalia while the guys drunk and smoked.

While Jhenea scrolled through her emails filing through a few art orders that she had to ship out, a figure stood in front of her and began conversating with Anthony.  Anthony gently sat Jhenea onto the chair next to him as he stood up to greet the tall statured guy.  They shared a manly hug as they got caught up in conversation.

"Nigga,  I haven't seen yo' ass since forever.  fuck you been up to? "Anthony spoke.

The guy shrugged his shoulders before he responded. "You know I had to do a bid up in Detroit,  but I'm back in New Orleans now tryna' make some shit shake."

"Thats whass' up,  I'm glad you stayed solid in there."Anthony nodded.  Carson and Lamont soon indulged into conversations with the guy catching up on missed time.

Ashton stood behind not really caring to start conversation with the guy. Hendi was some dude from the past that the guys ran with, but Ashton always had this fucked up suspicious feeling about him. He had fucked up trust issues and that sometimes led him wrong,  but majority of the time led him right. He discussed this odd feeling with Carson a few times, but like always, he brushed him off and thought that he was crazy.

Hendi was cool, got along with everyone and was down for everything, but Ashton felt as if he was the only one that could see past the bullshit facade. He wouldn't trust Hendi as far as he could throw him and he was so ready to tell his dumb ass homeboys he told them so when Hendi fucked up.

"Thats yo' ole' lady?"Hendi nodded towards Jhenea who held her resting bitch face as she texted Morgan who happened to not be to far from her.

Anthony nodded. "Yeah."He answered before walking over to Jhenea with Hendi behind him.

Jhenea looked up from her phone giving Anthony and Hendi a light smile.

Anthony stood aside introducing them.

"Jhenea, meet Hendi."
