Montgomery saved me from Bryce. He was trying to touch me.
Jeff.atkins :

Please don't do anything stupid.
I bit my lips, feeling nervous on why haven't Jeff replied to me. I'm hoping to god he won't do anything stupid that could get him in trouble.
10 minutes passed, and still no answer from him.
"God, or whatever powers above, please don't let Jeff does anything stupid." I muttered to myself.
As a clue, my phone rings. I jumped on my feet as i answered the phone.
Jeff.
"Jeff!" I immediately yelled into the phone.
"Hey there, are you ok—"
"No! Where were you! You don't do anything dumb, right? Like, went to Bryce's house and punch him to death?" I rambled in panic, while i keep passing back and forth on my room.
"We don't tell lies, right?" He answered, hesitating.
My eyes widen immediately, as much as i love the idea of Bryce being gone, but not this way, "Bryce's dead?!"
"What? I hope," He whispered to himself, "No, he's not dead. But, in really bad conditions."
I let out a sigh of relief, "I told you to not kick his ass!"
"It's not my fault! I won't let him go without one or two broken bones." I can feel the anger on his voice.
I sighed, "Fine, but next time, invite me."
Jeff chuckles, "Okay. Are you feeling okay now?"
I nodded, even thought he couldn't see me, "Yes."
"Would you feel amazing if i come over and bring some ice cream?" He offered, slowly.
"Of course! Come over!" I yelled excitedly to the phone.
"Well, i would if you hide your dad's shotgun first." I laughed.
"I will, now come here!"
"Fine, fine. I'll be there with the most delicious pack of ice cream in the world."
"Don't disappoint me."
"I won't. See you later."
"See you later."
Funny thing is, the ice cream isn't even here yet, but i'm already feeling better.
