Ellie's POV
" Wow!" Gabe says " you look- uhh-you-umm"
" Gabe if I look that bad just tell me." I chuckle
" NO!" He shouts "I-uhh-I mean no. You look stunning." He smiles
" thanks!" I blush " you don't look to bad yourself."
" why thank you." He fixed his bow tie "Shall we get going?" I nod
Gabe was wearing a simple black and white tuxedo. I had to say he looked hot!
I can't believe we are going on a date. This all seems so odd.
"You okay?" He asks
" yes." I smile
"Good." He grabs my hand and places a kiss on my knuckles.
" Gabe?"
" yes, love?"
" where are we going?"
I mean I know we are going some place nice, why else would we dress this nice. Like we can't go to a burger joint cause that'd be weird.
" a burger place."
I looked at him with wide eyes. It's like he read my mind.
" I'm kidding." He jokes
I let a breath of relief go.
" so where are we going then?"
" it's a surprise."
" Gabeeee." I whined " you know I hate surprises"
" I don't care, it's a surprise."
I cross my arms under my chest. I look out the window.
" don't do that." He says seriously
"What."

" quit poking out your bottom lip."
I smirk and poke it it farther
" I'm serious Ellie. If you do I'm going to have to pull over and kiss you all over."
" you wouldnt dare mess up this makeup." I gasp
" try me.."
I quit doing it and turn the radio on. Greatest Love Story by LANco, was playing.

I hummed along with him.
" are we there yet?" I whined once more
" no."
" I'm tired."
" you've been really tired lately?" His face was filled with concern
" oh, probably just stress. The SATs are coming up." I let out a awkward laugh
I can't tell him, yet. It will crush him. I shouldn't of ever said yes to being his girlfriend. He's gonna hate me once he finds out.
I felt the car stop.
" Gabriel Isaac Wayne you didn't."
" yes I did." He answers while I step out of the vehicle.
There I stood in front of the most beautiful restaurant ever. It's this old fancy sushi place. When we were kids we'd always say that's where we want are first date to be.
All the celebrities that pasted through are small town would eat there. It's super expensive that's why we'd never could eat here.
I felt Gabe's hand on my lower back leading me to the entrance.
" how'd you get reservations?"
" my great uncle knows a guy that just started working here." I nod
" Welcome, how may I help you?"
" Reservations for Knight." Gabe replies
" ahh yes Mr. and Mrs. Knight right this way."
" oh we aren't married." I say
" yet" Gabe sends a wink, the lady smiles.
" here is your table. Enjoy"
" Thank you." We say in unison
" okay was that you who did Mr and Mrs? Or we just look old?" I ask
" we just look old." He laughs and looks up to the man standing at our table
" Hello, my name is Brandon. I'll be your server for this evening. May I start you off with something to drink? Champagne, wine maybe?"
" water please." I say
" same."
" okay I'll be right back. Take a look at menu and I'll be back to fetch your order."
" I hate sushi." Gabe says
" same. Why'd we ever think this was a good idea."
" I have no clue." He laughs
" I'm having shrimp alfredo pasta. What about you?" I ask
" I think I'm going to go with salmon with lemon."
" Here are your waters. You ready to Order?"
We order and eat. I had to say mine tasted so good. I can tell Gabe enjoyed his too, he kept moaning like his life depended on it.
I had such a nice time. I know I'll have to tell him soon. I just don't know how soon...
We pull up to my driveway.
" would you like to come in?"
" no I'm good. It's like 1 o'clock in the morning anyway." He shrugs as he walks me to my front door
" okay well goodnight."
" goodnight gorgeous." He leans down and kisses me.
" thank you."
" anything for you my dear." He kisses my cheek and walk to his truck.
" see you tomorrow?"
" probably." He winks and drives off

I flush the toilet about the hundredth time today. I've been throwing up, and breaking out into a fever all day long.
It might have been food poisoning. I'm not sure. But I feel like I'm going to die. I take some medicine once more and lay back into bed.
" Hello my lo- woah what happens to you." Gabe walks into my bedroom
" wow thanks." I cough
" I'm sorry Smelly Ellie. But you look real bad."
" you sure know how to make a girl feel better."
" i was going to kiss you but woah, I don't wanna catch whatever you got."
" fine didn't want any of you kisses anyway."
" you love when I kiss you "
" said no one ever." I snort
" okay El, I'm here for you. Whatever you need I'll do."
" babe, I don't need anything. I just need sleep. Come back tomorrow and I'll be aye okay."
Babe coming from my mouth felt weird. But I'm a way I liked it.
" say babe again." He asks
" babe?" I say more like a question
"God you sound hot. Even if you are sick. You still make it seem like the damn sexiest thing ever ."
I laugh " thanks I think?"
" trust me it's a compliment. I guess I'll be downstairs."
" why I'm not going down there and no one else is here."
" I'm going to make you soup. I'm not going to leave your side. You're sick and need my help. And my the good boyfriend I am will gladly be here to help" he smiles
" how'd I get so lucky with you?"
" I ask myself that everyday" he kisses my forehead and asks out..
