Let's just say that being the war god's girlfriend has its perks.
Like having your own muscular bodyguard who could probably kill a man that looks at you funny.
Of course there's always a downside.
Ares is the embodiment of "manliness"
He's buff, strong, and brave. A jerk to the world but a gentleman to his girl.
He's also, let's say, territorial. The last time a man flirted with you was the first time you saw someone almost die from can of coke.
"Hey, babe? Who's Sam?" Ares asked walking into your bedroom. He held your phone in one hand as he raised it
"Oh, Just my study buddy" You answer nonchalantly.
"Well, Sam texted you" Ares spoke, emphasizing Sam's name
"Oh yeah, We're supposed to meet up later and go to the mall to buy some supplies" You said standing up. Ares's eye twitched
"So you're going out with this-this--" You cut him off with a kiss
"I'll be back in an hour. There's food in the fridge and please, take a shower" You grin
Ares lost his feelings of anger and jealousy for a moment. Until your phone vibrated to notify that Sam sent another text
Ares almost threw the phone to the wall which would very much break it, but he had to stay calm. The last time he raged out on you you almost broke up with him
"So, why does it have to be Sam that goes with you? Why cant it just be me?" He asked, swallowing the growl that threatened to escape his mouth.
"Cuz Sam know a lot about the stuff we need and you hate shopping" You answer putting on your shoes ready to leave.
"Well, Im going with you" Ares declared
"Fine, Dont freak Sam out" You chuckle
The ride to the mall was mostly filled with Ares asking all about Sam. The more Ares found out about Sam, the more he wanted to punch a hole on to the Earth's crust.
"We're here" You exclaim walking to the craft store. It hardly had any people in it, mostly old people buying frames and fake flowers.
"Sam! Show yourself" Ares exclaimed. You raise an eyebrow
"(Y/n)!" A voice exclaimed. Ares turned around to face his opponent, only to see a short chubby girl hugging you
"Hey, Sammy. This is my boyfriend; Ares" You smile motioning to Ares
"Named after the greek god of war? Cool" Sam chided holdin out her hand for Ares to shake
"You're Sam?" Ares asked carefully shaking her hand
"Yup!" Sam beamed before running off dragging you along
"The cardstock's over here" She exclaimed.
Ares stood there, staring after you. All his plans of battle and murder gone within seconds.
