-Dinah added Ally-

-Dinah added Normani-

-Dinah added Lauren-

-Dinah added Camila-

Dinah: Have fun at dinner hahhahaha you guys are gonna get yelled at for sure Hahaha

Normani: Can you film this dinner for me? It's been a while since I've seen Clara lose her shit on Lauren

Ally: Ya'll are gonna be in sooo much trouble!!!

Lauren: This isn't helpful

Camila: Why must you all be like this??

Dinah: Same reason you bitches got married without us there to see it. We're asshole!

Camila: Rude AF

Ally: Who wants to place bets about who cries first??

Dinah: Definitely Camila

Normani: Nah it'll be Lauren for sure

Ally: They'll probably both be crying before they even get in the house

Lauren: Fuck you

Camila: Supportive friends.. I wonder what it would be like to have those..

Dinah: I'm supportive! Supportive of the fact that you two are gonna get your asses beat by Clara and Mike

Ally: What time you two going over to the house?

Lauren: We have to be there in 10 minutes

Camila: We are currently sitting in the parking lot at the park down the street

Normani: Hahahhaa LOSERS!

---

"You ready for this?" Lauren asked nervously as she turned off her car and moved to unbuckle her seat belt. "Because it's not to late, we can run away if you want?"

Camila let out a low chuckle and looked at Lauren with a smile and a nod. "I'm as ready as I'm going to get, we're gonna have to face the music eventu- Fuck!"

"What? What's wrong?" Lauren sputtered out when Camila's eyes widened and Lauren slowly turned towards the house, following Camila's line of sight. "Oh fuck, is that?"

"My parents," Camila breathed as she took in the sight of her Mom and Dad standing on the Jauregui's front porch with Mike and Clara. "We're going to die today, it was nice knowing you Lolo. I really enjoyed these two days of being married to you."

"Do you think they'll bury us next to one another?" Lauren asked as she swallowed the lump rising in her throat. "Because-"

"I hope so."

"Alright," Lauren groaned as she turned back to Camila. "Shall we?"

"I don't think we have a choice in the matter," Camila said with a heavy sigh. "They're shooting daggers and if we don't get out of the car soon, they might come and drag us out."

"Camz?"

"Mhm?"

"I love you, okay?" Lauren reminded. "No matter what happens in that house, I love you and I don't regret marrying you."

"I love you too," Camila replied with a nervous smile. "So damn much and I'm so happy you're my wifey for lifey."

"Lawfully wedded bae," Lauren laughed out, leaning across the center console to press a kiss to Camila's lips.

---

Camila: My parents are here

Dinah: OH SHIT! GIIIIIRL! IT WAS NICE KNOWING YOU BOTH HAHAHAHA

Normani: This is amazing.. Think I can come watch?

Ally: Ya'll are going to die tonight.. Laur, can I have your iPod?

Lauren: Fuck all of you

Camila: A LITTLE "YOU'LL BE FINE" OR "DON'T WORRY YOU GUYS" WOULD BE NICE

Dinah: I ain't gonna lie to you to make you feel better

Normani: Mila, if you die tonight can I have Fish?

Dinah: NO I AM THE GODMOTHER

Ally: I'll take care of Fish, we both know you two aren't responsible enough.. She would probably die of starvation if you two looked after her

Dinah: WOULD NOT

Normani: NUH UH!

Ally: ...That's a joke right? Of course he would. If it wasn't for me, the two of you would die of starvation. You can't even be trusted to feed yourselves properly, let alone feed a dog

Lauren: CAN WE FOCUS!?

Camila: YOU GUYS SUCK SO BAD

Ally: Dearly beloved we gather here to say our goodbyes

Normani: HAHAHAHAHA

Dinah: I'll miss you, Walz! Lauser.. I guess I'll kind of miss you too

Lauren: Assholes, all of you are assholes

---

"Hi Mami," Camila greeted as she walked up the front steps at the Jauregui house. "Papa, I missed you both so much."

Sinu let out a heavy breath and narrowed her eyes as she looked between Camila and Lauren before pulling her daughter into a hug and then moving to pull Lauren into her embrace as well. "Las extrañé a ambas," she said with a shake of her head. "Let's go inside, yes?"

"Papa?" Camila said with her best smile, but the man just shook his head and followed his wife into the house. "Hi Mike, hi Clara," Camila tried, but the two just shook their heads at Camila and Lauren and made their way inside.

"We're so fucking screwed," Lauren whispered, her mouth mere centimeters from Camila's ear. "Ready?" Nodding her head, Camila moved her hand and laced her fingers together with Lauren's, giving a light reassuring squeeze as the two made their way into the house and followed their parent's voices into the kitchen.

"It's like a scene from Mean Girls in here," Camila mumbled under her breath as she took in the kitchen table. Four chairs set up on one side and two on the other.

"Girls," Clara said turning away from the oven and bringing the lasagna to the table. "Take a seat," she told them. "In fact, dinner is ready so everyone grab a seat. Mike, please bring the Caesar salad from the fridge." Watching their parents all sit down on one side of the table, Lauren and Camila made their way across the kitchen to the remaining seats, sliding in without breaking their hold on each other's hands. "How big of a piece would you like Camila?" Clara asked once she had served the adults on her side of the table. "Would you like to engage in a smaller piece or would you prefer a larger one? Actually, why don't I just put some on your plate and when you think it's enough you can say I do."

"Mom," Lauren whined as she watched Clara place a piece of lasagna on Camila's plate and then move to hers.

"And Lauren, Sweetheart. My first born," Clara said as Camila just stared down at her plate and Lauren shifted uncomfortably in her seat. "I vow to give you the biggest piece," she said mockingly. "I know how much you love lasagna, you'd probably marry it if you could."

Lauren tensed under Clara's words and her head shot up, "Look, we know you all know that Camila and I eloped, so can we just cut the bull-"

"Lauren," Camila cut her off, shaking her head. "It's fine," she whispered as she brought their connected hands up and set them on the table. "Mami, Papa. Clara, Mike. Lauren and I want to apologize, we did something huge and we didn't allow you the courtesy of being there to witness it and you four can spend all night trying to make us feel horrible about it, that's fine. Really, it is. We deserve it, but I hope you know that Lauren and I don't regret it. Maybe things could have been done differently, but we're married and we don't regret it."

"We don't expect you to understand," Lauren said taking a deep breath. "We know that what we did wasn't fair to any of you, but-"

"Fair?" Clara scoffed. "You took away your Father's dream of walking you down the aisle, Lauren."

"You too, Mija," Sinu said sadly. "You know Papa always wanted to be able to give you away at your wedding."

"You two were selfish," Mike said shaking his head. "Calling me at five in the morning," he reminded them, looking from Lauren to Camila. "To tell me that you two got hitched at a trashy chapel in the tourists district."

"We're sorry-" Lauren tried to get out, but Mike just shook his head and held up his hand.

"Sorry doesn't cut it, Lauren," Mike continued. "The two of you are not ready to get married, you are not-"

"So we're old enough to be engaged, but not married?" Lauren asked with grimace. "That's the stupidest-"

"Camila is only eighteen and you are only nineteen, neither of you have any business being married," Clara barked out harshly. "You're children and honestly, who even knows if you two are going to make it through University as a couple, you both have a lot of growing up to do and God knows you two may realize you aren't-"

"Stop," Camila cried out, feeling the tears pricking on her waterline. "Stop, don't tell us we're too young or we aren't going to make it, because we know what we feel and we know there will be hard times, but we also know we will make it through because we love each other very, very much and-"

"Love is not always enough, Flaca," Alejandro finally spoke up for the first time since everyone had sat down. "You two are children and you made a mistake by getting married, you were drunk and-"

"We aren't Papa, we aren't children, we aren't babies anymore," Camila argued. "We know what we did wasn't ideal, but we didn't make a mistake."

"And we understand why you're upset," Lauren added as she scooted her chair closer to Camila's. "You wanted to see us get married and one day you will, because we still want to have a big wedding, we still want our Dad's to walk us down the aisle and say our vows in front of all our friends and family. And we still plan to do that after we graduate," Lauren told them desperately. "We will still have that big dream wedding you have always wanted for us."

"We made our decision and-"

"We think you should get this marriage annulled," Clara told them, her eyebrows raised and a serious tone in her voice.

"No," Lauren challenged, mirroring her Mother's expression, her eyebrows raised in a challenge.

Sinu sighed and shook her head as she looked at Camila, "An annulment will look better than the impending divorce years down the road, Mija."

"We aren't doing that," Camila said looking at her own Mother and Father. "We are married, Lauren is my wife and I am her wife and we don't regret what we did and we aren't going to undo it just because you aren't happy with the decision we made. Papa, please look at me?" Camila begged as she let go of Lauren's hand and moved to stand next to the chair her Dad was sitting in. "Papa, I love you so much and I didn't mean to upset you, but Lauren is my whole world, she is my happiness, just like Mami is yours. I love her, I love her so much and I need you to support me with this, please?"

"Karla, we just think that the two of you have made a mistake," Alejandro sighed as Camila dropped down to her knees.

"Papa, look at me?" Camila whispered. "I didn't make a mistake, Lauren is not a mistake to me. I love her, I love her so much and I need you to support me, I'm your little girl and I need you to see how happy I am, please?"

"I think the two of you moved too fast and maybe living together and getting engaged this young wasn't-"

"No," Lauren yelled, cutting off her Mother's words as she pushed herself out of her seat. "No, we didn't move to fast, because when you know, you know. Camila and I, we're soulmates. We're meant to be and we're sorry we made this choice without consulting you first, but that is exactly what it was. Our choice. I love Camila, more than I've ever loved anything in this world."

Clara sighed and shook her head, "What would Abuelita say? She would be so disappointed you."

"No, she wouldn't!" Lauren yelled, her body shaking and the tears streaming down her face. "Abuelita only ever wanted me to be happy, to be loved and cared for. She wanted me to follow my heart and my dreams and that's exactly what I'm doing! Camila is my heart and my dreams. We could be broke, living in a cardboard box and as long as I had her, I'd be happy. Abuelita wouldn't be disappointed in me, she'd be disappointed in you for trying to make me feel guilty for being happy and following my heart."

The silence in the room was thick and you could hear the sound of Clara's fork scraping against her porcelain plate and Lauren's heavy breathing, no one quite sure what to say and a single sob from Lauren's mouth broke the silence as Camila rushed over to her and wrapped her arms around Lauren's waist, pulling her into a hug.

"We're going to go-"

"You haven't eaten," Mike said pointing to Camila and Lauren's plates.

"We're going to go," Camila said again, squinting her eyes and shaking her head. "Baby, go out to the car, I'll be there in-"

"I'll wait for you," Lauren whispered and Camila took a heavy breath and nodded before turning to her parents and Lauren's.

"We are in love," Camila said with a watery smile. "We don't need anything else and if you don't support the decision we made, that's fine. We understand why you're upset, we do and that's why we will have a big wedding one day and we hope you will all be there to support us, even though you aren't supporting us right now. Clara, you owe Lauren an apology. You know how much her Abuelita meant to her and you saying that, it was really unfair of you. We're sorry you don't like the decision we made, we're sorry you weren't there to watch us get married or walk us down the aisle. We're sorry we took that moment from you, but I wouldn't take back what we did. That wedding, though drunken and messy. It was perfect." Camila reached into her bag and pulled out a copy of the DVD, tossing it down onto the table. "It's R-Rated and we weren't going to show it to you out of respect, but that right there, that is a decision we made and when you watch that, you'll see that we really are perfect for each other."

"Girls-" Clara started to say, but Camila just shook her head and wrapped her arms tighter around Lauren's crying frame while her own tears flowed down her cheeks.

"Mama, Papa, I hope you'll come see mine and Lauren's apartment before you leave, you know where it is," Camila said sadly before turning to Mike and Clara. "I'm sorry you're disappointed, but we're pretty disappointed too, so I think we're going to go."

---

Camila: We're on our way home

Ally: Already?

Camila: Yeah..

Ally: Are you okay?

Camila: No

Ally: And Lauren?

Camila: Not at all

---

"Laur?" Camila whispered as she ran a hand through Lauren's hair. "Baby, we're home," she said as Lauren uncurled herself from the ball she had curled into on the passenger seat. Lauren nodded her head and unbuckled her seat belt, slowly removing herself from the car and Camila followed quickly. "Do you want me to order-"

"I wanna be alone," Lauren said, shaking her head. "Please, just-"

"Please don't shut me out," Camila breathed out, her face crumpling. "Please don't-"

"I just need to be alone," Lauren cried as she looked at Camila with a pleading stare. "I need you to-"

"I'm gonna go see the girls," Camila mumbled. "I guess, since you don't want me aro-"

Camila's words were cut off by Lauren's lips, wet with tears and trembling as she kissed Camila slowly, only pulling back when a sob threatened to bubble up and out of her throat. "I don't regret marrying you," Lauren whispered as she pressed her forehead against Camila's. "I just need time to think and she said my Abuel-"

"Why don't you go paint in the studio for a bit," Camila suggested. "I'm gonna go see the girls and I'll come home in about an hour and we can order pizza and watch movies, is an hour-"

"Thank you," Lauren nodded. "I'm sorry that-"

"It's okay," Camila whispered. "It's okay, we're okay."

"We're okay," Lauren repeated the words and swallowed her cries as Camila leaned in and pressed a kiss to Lauren's cheek.
