" URGGH" i said as I was slapping in random places to shut the annoying thing. when I finally hit the snooze button I put back the covers on my head to block the sun light. Then I remembered one word.School. But I don't want to go my bed will miss me, my soft, comfy, warm- just as I was going to finish how amazing my bed is my door flew open reveling my twin brother Jayden in his tight grey shirt with his jean hung low on his waist. But I couldn't ignore the pissed off look on his face.
" Mom and Dad are here." He growled out with so much venom in his voice. The sleepy state was now gone it was now replaced with anger.
" What why? What do they want after five years. " I said with so much anger in my voice but I didn't care at all.
" They want to see if the house is okay, To make sure the house was still the same when they left. Not to even make sure if we were okay if we had enough food, they still didnt ask if we were okay after they took Juliana." he said with pain and anger laced in his voice.
My Brother and I aren't the only ones that hate them. My uncles,aunts, grandparents ,and cousins. the Blackwood Family was what you would say badass expect for my parents of course the were just two faced, coward and the list goes on and on and on and -
my trail of thoughts were cut off my my brothers voice.
"Get ready for school. The faster you go the faster they leave understood?" he asked. All I did was nod my head yes. I quickly grabbed my iPod and headed my bathroom. I plugged it in and put it on shuffle and the song ' Shake It' by the metro station. I mouthed the words as the hot steamy water ran down my back sending me in shivers.
'The longer you stay in hear the longer your parents will stay' the voice in my head a good reason. so i got out of the shower to get dressed. I wrapped myself and in a towel and let my wet black hair fall on my back and went to my closet.I put on my black undergarments then pulled on my black ripped jeans as i was going to get my white shirt i stopped in front of my body length mirror. I looked at all my tattoos. I saw my favorite one, a rose with thin details on my forearm.
I have one brother that is Jayden Tyler Blackwood and a sister Juliana Marie Blackwood,We have a special bond, i mean we are all twins after to all. Yes you heard right we are all twins same hair same eyes same tan skin. I also have one on the back of my neck saying ' Inside all of us theres a wild thing' with birds on the right side of the quote, i had a couple more but i got to hurry up.
' arrgh hurry up don't want another detention now do we?'
I quickly grabbed my white V-neck shirt through it over my head and literally ran to my favorite ankle boots with studs on them. I went to put on make up it only consisted of eyeliner and mascara. After i did that i quickly grabbed my leather jacket, I grabbed a brush that was close by and ran it through my now damp hair. I grabbed my bag near my phone, i checked my the time and saw it was still seven O'clock. then it clicked.
That evil Son Of A Bitch. Jayden made me wake six O' clock in the fucking morning?! He's got some nerve. You see i am no way near a morning person. At all. Good thing i will have time for breakfast. As i walked down the stairs the smell of scrambled eggs, and pancakes hit my nostrils i practically ran to the kitchen. I finally hit the bottom of the stairs. What can i say food is my best friend always was always will be. All the excitement i had just thinking about food had suddenly vanished when i set my eyes on the two worst people in the world. My parents.
" Oh My, Jade you've grown so much." Monica aka my mother said with tears brimming in her eyes.
" Oh Monica You've become faker then before." I heard my brother snicker and saw my father scowling at me.
" Jade that is no way to talk to your mother."
I put on a shocked face and said with the coldest voice i could muster
" I have a mother? Where is she?"
" I don't know Jay, shes been gone for a really long time aren't i right lil sis?" Jayden said with a smirk on his face.
"That's enough you guys, you don't even know the reasons of that happening so don't you dar judge. " he said with his face as red as a tomato and holding my mother who was now crying.
" You did not have to leave me and jay and you certainly didn't have to let some random people take a way my sister for your expenses that you couldn't pay for. But on the bright side you left, that was the best thing ever." Jayden said raising his voice with every word he said.
" It would have been disgusting looking at your faces everyday, so i am gonna say this once, get your things and get out. Now." I said with so much authority to my voice.
They looked at me with a shocked expression on their faces.
" We live here too we have a right to sta-"
i cut them off with a tsk sound
" No you do not live here. You used to but now you don't," they looked at me with a confused face while jay was smirking.
" Let me explain, while you were gone i put the house on Jayden's name since we now are eighteen . And we took all you belongings and put in the trash.And we made your room into something else. So no you do not live here,bye we definitely won't miss you. " As i said that they had a shocked look on their face as i pushed them out the door. I closed the door and sat down on the stool feeling exhausted. Jayden sat on the stool next to me.
" That.Was.Amazing. Lil jay Good job." then silence hit. and then we heard a engine room out the driveway. yes they finally left. Suddenly my stomach made a growling sound. I looked at Jayden he had his famous smirk on his face.
"What?" i was totally confused.
"That growling sound means one thing......"
" MAC DONALDS" he screamed he read my mind.
Okay let me explain all of this! My name is Jade Elizabeth Blackwood, I am 18 years old, I come from an Italian family. October 16, I lost my sisterhood . No she didn't die. The Blackwood family had 'problems' with the Romano family. Now this was old beef. So my family,isn't the family you get invited to a barbecue, at our house,if your weren't careful you would end up being the barbecue. The Romano's also weren't people who you messed with. The Blackwood's and The Romano's were at war, like fire and water. Flames grew in out hearts, anger through our veins, and dark secrets in our minds. The day Juliana was taken away, in their words it was paying a debt, a debt we didn't make, a debt we all are paying for. The Romano's still had bad blood, and now so do we. And that day my parents watched and left me and Jayden at fifteen years old. Giorgio took care of us like we were his own. With the things my family dealt with wasn't pink. It was heavier stuff. We run this place. This city. We rule it all. My uncles and aunts and cousins take care of it all, people shiver at our name, plead for life. Cold hearted?Maybe.

As we got in the car, my phone rang. It was Ross, Ross Matthews. He was my best friend.
"Hello?"
"Hey beautiful, how you doin'?"
"What do you want." He was to nice, he wanted something.
"Geez,Take me to school. Please?"
"Fine. But boy,do I look like a taxi driver to you?" I asked
"Is that how you speak to your best friend?" He asked, with humor in his voice.
"You know what, I got one thing to say to you."
"What?" He asked
"Catch me outside howbowda?" I laughed and hung up the phone.
Jayden got in the car and said "Jay?" Making a puppy face.
"What?"I asked knowing he also wanted something.
"Can we pick up Megan?" He said making bigger puppy eyes.
"Yes."
So there I go, to become s taxi driver to my friends.
Megan Carpenter was my best friend and she also was Jayden's Girlfriend.
We finally made it to school I parked the car in a senior slot and turned of the engine. I let every one out before locking it. Making my way to the front doors of school I meet with my friends/family.
"Hey guys."
"Hey" they all said in unison. As we made our way to the main doors people gave us the same look they do every day a look of fear. When we finally made it inside we bid our goodbyes. Ross and I went to our lockers which were right next to each other. I put in my combination and it opened. Since this morning I've had a bad feeling, I looked at my gun in my locker and poked Ross on the shoulder and said "Ross I have a bad feeling about today." He nodded and said "Me too."
"Keep your gun your waistband,just in case anything happens I'll text the others to do the same." He nodded and made sure no one was watching and put the gun on his waistband. I did the same, I looked around and say every one of our gang was still at there lockers . I fished out my phone.
To: Hunter,Brody, Jessica,Megan, Aaron, Jesse,Laura Giovanna,Georgia, Zach, Jayden and James.
I have a bad a feeling about today keep your gun at hand. 🔫
Then I pressed send. The message hit every ones phone at the same time. They all looked and me and nodded. And did exactly that. The bell rang, I shut my locker and made my way to my first class.
