Promise pov
" Hey sissy, how was your day ? " vanni asked me but her face fell when I didn't respond." It's okay sissy I'll try again tomorrow " she said before walking out my room.
Honestly it's hurt me not to talk to my sister, she was like my bestfriend.
She has been coming in here everyday hoping I will talk to her.
I know it's sad seeing her get disappointed but I gotta do what I feel is right and not talking is what's gonna protect her.
Just think about it what if Cierra kidnapped my sister instead of me or what if my mother dumbass boyfriend got somebody to kill her or something, only if I just let him do whatever he was gonna do to me and not say nothing all this shit could have been prevented.
I'm just gonna take a nap, I been up all day.
Stacey pov
I guess promise didn't say anything to vanni again today because she came out the room on the verge of tears and this is when I step in and comfort her.
"Hey princess what's wrong" I walked over to her. "Nothing bubba" she smiled but it didn't meet her eyes. "Why you wanna lie to bubba ?" She frowned and looked down playing with her fingers. "I'm sorry bubba it's just sissy not talking to me" she looked up at me.
I sighed
"Look here baby girl you gotta give sissy time, I promise she will talk to you soon" she nodded her head. "you want some Ice cream and cookies ?" When I said that she smiled that big ole smile I adore while nodding again.
It's about 9 and I'm in the kitchen cooking dinner, James and vanni were in the living playing games, they have became so close since him and Jayla moved in, you will never see them apart.
I was thinking about applying for a job I can't keep letting my aunt give me money every month it's not fair to her and her family, I'm not just taking care of myself anymore I got 4 other people to take care of now. Plus I've saving up the money to buy a new house and I can get a loan from the bank if what I have not enough.
I hear a lot of commotion coming from the back, I go back there to see if it was Jayla but she was in my room on her phone talking to somebody probably her boyfriend 🙄 y'all that's a story for another day.
Anyways the kids were in the family room so I know it's not them.
I cracked open promise room to check on her but she wasn't in the bed so I fully opened the door and went in, it was so dark and cold in here. I found her in the corner with her knees up to her chest and her face in her lap.
"Promise ?" She shot her head up like she seen a ghost. She looked a mess, hair all over the place, tears pouring out of her eyes and she was shaking so bad.
It was a sad sight.
I step closer but she held her hand out while shaking her head as if to tell me not to come closer.
"Hey, hey promise it's just me Stacey" I said as I move closer but she moved back making her back hit the wall.
I put my hands up in surrender to let her know I'm not gonna hurt her as I kneeled down on my knees moving closer to her.
Every inch I came closer she cried harder as if I was gonna hit her or something.
"Listen to me promise" she looked up at me. " I'm not gonna hit or hurt you okay ?" She hesitated but nodded and put her arms down. I sighed as a wave of relief washed over me.
I rushed over to her side and held her while she cried in my arms. We was sitting there for an hour until she fell asleep.
I picked her up and laid her down in my bed, pulling the cover over her.
I went to go finish dinner so the kids can eat.
"Alright kids the food is ready"
James and vanni raced to the kitchen like they didn't just eat 2 hours ago."mmm well this food sure is good sissy Stacey" James said in a country accent, I laugh this boy is a character y'all just don't know.
"Mmm this food is good bubba, you should cook this here more often" vanni said in a Country accent too while licking her lips in satisfaction. "Why thank you kind girl and young man, sissy does try her best" I said playing along with them. They both laughed at me when I tripped over my leg (Don't ask 😂)
"Y'all hurry up so I can get y'all ready for a bath" they both looked at me like I had two heads." But it's the weekend" they both chimed in together."y'all still got to wash in between the crack of y'all a- i mean butt, I didn't say y'all to go to sleep just ya butt." I had to catch myself.
They both nodded and finished eating.
I fixed promise a plate and took it to my room, I tapped her and she opened one eye before opening the other.
This girl gonna be the death of me ❤️
She sat up and just stared at the food. "Promise look I'm not playing these games with you , you going to eat this food because you haven't ate anything for 3 days" she rolled her eyes and huffed but still didn't budge.
I sat the food down and climbed on top of her pinning her arms to the bed, I kissed down her neck leaving my love bits. I hear her moan as I rubbed her through her boxers.
I licked and flicked back up to her ear and suck on it before I whisper "didn't I tell you not to roll yo eyes at me" I rubbed harder when I didn't get a reply. "Answer me, didn't I tell you not to roll your eyes at me" she nodded as she grind matching her strokes to mine but before she reached her peak I stopped.
Got that ass 😂
"Now eat that damn food or imma shove it down your throat my damn self" if looks could kill I would be 12 ft under right now but shit she brought this on her self.
I washed my hand then got the kids ready for their baths.
"Jayla did you eat yet ?" She walked in the kitchen and nodded her head, she lookEd kinda scared. "What's wrong hunny bun?" I sat down at the table. "Sissy I need to tell you something" she looked at me nerves." Okay go ahead" I looked at her skeptical. "I...I...I.-" she stuttered "Jayla if you say one more got damn "I" imma beat yo ass now get it out and I mean you better get it out right now" she jumped " Ithinkimpregnant" I looked at her in shocked "Jayla what the fuck did you just say" she looked down" I said I think I'm pregnant" I looked at her in disappointment.
I shook my head and walked out the house leaving her there calling out for me.
I just need to get my thoughts together, like how the fuck did I get here I'm only 18 and I'm taking care of 4 other humans without a fucking jobs like this shit is stressful, now my 15 year old sister is carrying or might be carrying a whole fucking human being in her....bruh she is 15 she still a damn baby.
I always wanted better for my brother and sister, I wanted them to be better then me. I feel like I failed them.
I made it back to the house to see the kids sleep and Jayla in the kitchen crying.
When she see me she race in my arm and I hug her tight. "Stop crying you to pretty for that, we can talk about it in the morning get some rest pumpkin" I kissed her forehead and went to my room.
I huffed as I paced the floor thinking about how harder my life about to be with another kid living here.
I sighed and gave up
I got my night clothes and took a shower, I need to really think about what imma do.
I know I need to get a bigger house because what if she is pregnant this condo not big enough for all of us.
I'll just talk to my aunt tomorrow about it and see what she think I should do.
If my sister is pregnant she not having no abortion or giving it up for adoption, she laid down and had sex now she got to deal with the out come.
Once I got out the shower I notice promise ate that damn food, she know not to play with me.
I slid in bed and rapped my arms around her she tried to move away from me but I pulled her even closer to me.
she huffed but turned around and snuggled into my neck.
