I stood there stunned,trying to figure out what possible reason why Shawna was now at Blake's house..she obviously liked him.
Did they know each other?
I decided to ignore it for now,maybe I was over thinking ..I changed my clothes and went outside to read a while on the porch..In the few minutes Evans car pulled in my drive.
I was actually relieved to see him getting out of the car. He walked up to me with me with a huge smile.
He sat beside me and gave me a small hug.
"What are you doing?" I laughed.
"I got accepted into Braxton college in Missouri."
I squealed and hugged him.
"I'm so happy for you!" I told him rubbing his shoulder.
"I want to celebrate with you tonight.Come over my house and hang out?"
"Sure". I agreed. I was happy to know I had Evan. Blake confused me so much. Why did Shawna have to be there?
Dont be sad ..I told myself..
"Great,I need to talk to you about something."
"Okay,thats okay." I nodded.
Just at that moment Blake and Shawna walked outside and Blake looked over and stared hard at Evan.
ugh..
I hugged Evan and didnt let go for a good minute.
"We better go."Evan started towards the car and I followed..
We jumped in the car and took off,Blake just stared as we drove away.

We went to Evans place ,I didnt realize he lived alone.
"I just got my own place right after I turned 19."
"Oh well this is nice." I smiled and looked into the kitchen. Everything was neat and tidy. I was surprised,most guys were messy. I noticed Evan didn't have much furniture,and just had an air bed,no dressers.
He must have read my mind. cause he answered my thoughts.
"I can't really afford much at the moment.I'm hoping to get a nicer living room suit and a real bed."
"Its okay"I patted his shoulder and smiled.
Evan looked serious for a few minutes.
"What's wrong? "I was worried,he looked like he wanted to cry.
"Evan?" I walked closer,hoping he would say something.
"Skyler,how do you feel about Blake?" he was obviously nervous,he was playing with my purse strap on the table.
"I.."
"I don't like how he acts towards you..he seems violent." Evan seemed annoyed by just mention I ng Blake's name.
I didnt know what to say as the moment. The silence was uncomfortable and I couldn't think of the words to say...
"I'm not sure how I feel about him."I had to be honest. My feelings for Blake weren't stable. I just wasn't sure..
" I love you." Evan blurted out.
I gasped not expecting this at all.
I didn't feel that way towards Evan.. At least I didn't think so.
I like you Evan,but I don't know-
"Forget it!" He said anger in his voice.
"I'm taking you home."
"Okay."I mumbled..

We reached the driveway and said nothing.
I opened the door to get out and saw Blake on my porch.
Just great. I thought..
"Your boyfriend is waiting for you."Evan had a condescending tone.
"See ya-"I started to say,but he cut me off..
"Get out of my car! "He yelled..
Hot tears welled up in my eyes,after I got out...he sped of and the tears fell.

Blake walked over and took me in his arms..
I hugged him tight and with him is where I wanted to be.
I wanted to ask about Shawna,but he spoke before I did.
"The girl that was here is my sister."I haven't seen her in awhile,she transferred here.
"Huh?"
Actually my step sister.
"Oh?" That explained some things.
"She needed help with some assignments."
"So tell me,what is going on with you and Evan?"he demanded.
Should I tell him ? No,not now..
