“Go?” Zayn whispered to Louis who was on the other side of Harry’s bed
“Wait, Niall’s still refilling his water gun” Louis whispered
Liam tried to suppress a laugh as Harry turned on his bed
“Go go go” Niall grinned as he ran to Zayn’s side, “Okay ready?” Liam asked and they all nodded
“loaded?” Louis asked
“Loaded” they nodded their heads
“okay, in 1,2,3”
“Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Dear Harry, Happy Birthday to you” All boys sang, but even when Zayn was singing directly in Harry’s ear, he didn’t even tossed.
“are you serious? Niall asked as he sprayed Harry in the face
“ow cold cold cold” Harry woke up with a start as he realized that 4 water guns were pointed at him
“Now Harry, we’re here to greet you a very Happy Birthday!” Liam said as they all sprayed water on his face, his body and on the bed while singing Happy Birthday to Harry.
“You guys are the worst!” Harry screamed as he tried in vain to shield himself with the pillows around him. They all laughed as they shot at him until their guns were empty.
“I’m soaking wet, get out you idiots!” Harry screamed as they all got out of his room and he slammed the door behind them
“Do you think he got mad?” Louis asked
“Of course” Niall laughed to which Zayn laughed also
“Happy Birthday Harry!” Liam screamed behind the closed door.
A few minutes later Harry emerged from the room,
“Now that I’m all dried up, let’s open presents!” Harry said excitedly as he walked out of his bedroom.
The band had already pizza a few bottles of beer ready as they all sat on the living room.
“What did you guys got me?” Harry demanded
“I got you a news phone since I broke yours last night” Louis said as he handed him a new Samsung phone
“Thanks man” Harry smiled as he hurried to open it
“I already called Kendall and explained everything, no worries” Louis said
Harry breathed a sigh of relief and turned to Zayn
“Zayn?”
“Well, I, remember that hair band you wanted from snakeskin when we went to Africa?”
“Yeah, of course”
“Happy Birthday” Zayn said, handing him a snakeskin hairband
“Nooo” Harry said
“Oh it’s from Perrie too, well actually it’s from us”
“Perrie brought this, didn’t she?”
“Yeah, well she’s better at shopping” Zayn said
“thank you mate” Harry smiled as he tried on his hair band
“welcome” Zayn smiled
“Niall, you’re up” Harry said
“Happy Birthday” Niall smiled as he produced a tiny water gun and fired at Harry’s face
“Niall!” Harry said
“I was just joking” Niall laughed as Harry wiped the water on his eyes, but when he opened it Niall sprayed water again at his face
Zayn laughed as he bite into another pizza
“Stop it Niall, you’re getting the carpet all wet” Liam laughed
“No, seriously, I got you a present though” Niall smiled
From out of his back he took out a box, a silver bracelet
“Wow” Harry said
“Yeah, well, I’ve already given all the others a piece of this, just a little something to remember me by” Niall said
“Are you gonna cry mate?” Zayn asked
“No” Niall said
On the outside of the bracelet was the inscription “don’t forget where you belong”
Their famous logo 1D was encrypted on the end of the bracelet with the pictures of the 5 of them on the other end. Caricature drawings of them.
Harry teared up a little bit as he turned to hug Niall
“Thanks Niall” Harry said as Niall nodded his head and smiled
“Always”
They all turned to look at Liam
“You’re up” Niall said
Liam smiled, “my gift’s not yet here” he said
“You just don’t have a gift” Zayn said
“I do too” Liam retorted
“Do not” Louis laughed
Suddenly his phone rang,
“hello, uh huh, yeah? Everything set?” He looked at each one of them and laughed
“yeah, well they’re teasing me that I don’t have a gift” he said on the phone
“Yeah? Okay bye” Liam got off the phone and smiled
Then he suddenly stood up and ran
“Liam!” Niall said as they all stood up to ran after him
“Race you all to the top!” Liam screamed as he headed for the stairs
“I’m not racing him” Zayn said, I’m taking the elevator
“How will you know which floor to go down?” Louis asked
Zayn pondered on this for a moment but soon gave up and ran after them
Harry was already breathless as they reached the top floor, they had just ran 12 flights of stairs and they were all pretty exhausted.
Liam paused to catch his breath before opening the door to the rooftop terrace
“ready?” He asked Harry
“Whatever this is, Liam I sure hope it’s running 12 flight of stairs” Zayn complained
“It is, for Harry” Liam said as he slowly opened the door
There was a big tarpaulin for Harry which read Happy Birthday, Nick Grimshaw was there, Simon and a few other of Harry’s friends but at the center
He was greeted by confetti and standing on the center was his beautiful girlfriend
They all smiled and sang Happy Birthday Harry as Kendall slowly walked towards Harry, holding out a cake.
He hasn’t been able to call her yesterday because Louis accidentally dropped his phone on the bathtub filled with water but he missed her and all he wanted was to hug her and tell her he was sorry, he was sure by now she has heard that he had been to the club and there would be made up lies of him flirting with other girls and he knew how that would shake her up no matter how much she would deny it.
She was very near her now
“Happy Birthday love” she whispered, with her eyes looking only at him
“I love you” Harry whispered as he kissed her gently but quickly
“now make a wish” Niall said as Harry blow on the 20 candles
“Happy Birthday!!!” Liam screamed as Zayn, Louis and Niall took out the candles from the cake.
In one quick notion, Liam took the cake from Kendall’s hand and smashed it into Harry’s face
“Happy Birthday!” Liam laughed
“I’m so gonna kill you Liam” Harry said angrily
Kendall laughed as she took out a tissue from her handbag and wiped caked from Harry’s eyes
“I’m gonna get the ones on your lips” She laughed as she kissed him gently to which everyone cheered and said “aaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwww”
Harry wrapped his arms around her waist as he kissed her back
“Best Birthday ever” He said
“It’s only the beginning” Kendall said
“There’s more?”
“yeah, uhm just a simpler quieter version of this”
“Without Liam?”
“Mmmm, do you want Liam there?”
“No of course not”
“Mmmm, I’m holding a party for you at my Dad’s house in Malibu, and you’re invited” Kendall said
“I’m invited to my own party?” Harry asked
“Yes sire”
“Well,that’s disturbing but I’ll be there” Harry smiled
“I know you have a big day ahead of you, so you just go, and I’ll see you there”
“I’ll call you” Harry said
“I thought Louis broke your phone”
“Well, he managed to replaced it, and also passed it out as his birthday present, unbelievable” Harry said
“Well, call me then, and I have something to tell you later” Kendall said excitedly
“okay” Harry said
“Okay, now go mingle, it’s your birthday, Happy Birthday again love” Kendall smiled as she quickly kissed his cheeks, “I gotta go now though” She said
“okay, thanks for everything babe”
“Welcome, it was all Liam’s idea though, he’s the one you need to thank” Kendall said.
