If my heart could ever love again
I would choose to love a girl who would count from one to ten with her eyes close

And she would stay, I'd give her no guarantee that I'd do the same
I won't tell her my name,
Love will pull through
I'll believe in fairytales again if I have to

I'd tell her nothing
I will fill the air with silence
Hold my breath for a while and scream silent whispers in my head

That even with her eyes close;
She could see the spark in mine

That's love for me, I suppose

And she'd never have to say goodbye
I'll know if she was never meant as mine
I've let things go a million times before
This is child's play,
Compared to what I had,
I have more

I've given my heart on a silver platter
Only to find holes in it after it was served
See, I never meant for this to happen
I only love to love the things I wish I should have forgotten

Hearts are a fragile bunch
If my heart could ever—
whenever I love again
I promise to do it right this time
