After the infamous Belle married her once Beast lover, they decided to name themselves the rulers of their now proclaimed land called Auradon. This is where all of the so called 'good guys' settled themselves.
Since then all of the villains and their sidekicks, so basically all of the best people were kicked off the main land and put on an island surrounded by a magical barrier that kept them from leaving. They called this place the Isle of the Lost. There's no magic, no WiFi, and no good guys.
This is the home to five teenage villains of some of the worst people alive.
Hailey, the daughter of the Red Queen, or the Queen of Hearts. You know, the one that was the leader of Wonderland until Alice came and took over? Hailey has her mothers bright red hair and an attitude to match. Her hobbies include causing havoc around the Isle with two of her best friends, Jay and Carlos, and parkouring around the buildings.
Carlos, son of the cruel Cruella De Vil. Since he was a child his mother has been feeding him lies about dogs being the most evil creatures on the planet. Her stories soaked themselves in the back of his head, resulting in him being terrified of the harmless animals.
Jay, song of Jafar. He follows in his father's footsteps by taking things that didn't belong to him. He does this to stock his dad's store so they could re-sell the stuff. He doesn't play well with others, especially when someone tries to tell him what to do.
Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen. She's a huge fashionista, making clothes for all of her friends. She's so busy worrying about finding a prince with a huge castle and this blocks out how smart she actually is. She wants to believe that they don't have to follow in their parents footsteps.
And finally, the leader of the group; Mal. She's the daughter of the most feared person on the Isle; Maleficent. Everyone cowards down at the mere mention of the mother and daughter. Mal keeps her friends in check, reminding them how truly evil they really are.
These five teens get accepted into Auradon Prep, a school for the princes and princesses beloved children. Of course the teen villains don't want to go, but their parents didn't give them much of a choice.
Upon their arrival, they find out that these people aren't actually that bad. And most importantly, they find out that they don't have to be their parents.
