Chapter 5: Flirting In Class

I rolled my eyes as I turned back towards my locker and shoved my books inside.

I'm so stupid! I thought! Then again that does explain why he was a complete asshole and trying to get me. Eww.

"Why's that asshole looking at you?" Ashley asked me.

Ashley was my twin. Well, not literally but if you put me and her next to each other, we'd look totally alike. Or at least that what some people say. This came to our advantage though, to mess with teachers and switch classes. The only real difference was that Ashley had blue streaks in her hair but seeing how many times we pulled switching classes off, people didn't pay attention to that fact. Or if they did they didn't say anything knowing they were probably dead meat later. Plus, most of our teachers were old so they couldn't tell.

I whizzed back around to see Asher still looking at me. Sure he was cute, but I've seen cuter. Trust me. Then, choosing not to look at him instead of staring at him and throwing up my breakfast, I turned towards my locker slammed it shut, and picked my backpack up off the floor, lifting it onto my shoulder.

"Because he's an asshole, perv, whatever you want to call it," I answered back.

"Well, get ready because Mr. Hotty's strutting your way," Logan said giggling.

I turned and glared at her. She stopped giggling. "Sorry," she murmured.

"He's not hot, I hate him. And if I hate him, you guys should too, I think," I said.

Ashley nodded her head in agreement while Logan nodded reluctantly with a frown on her face.

"Hey" I heard a voice say from behind. I groaned.

"I know I'm sexy but you don't have to moan just cause I said 'hey'!" Asher aswered back with a smirk on his face.

" First of all, it was a groan as in 'why the fuck are you here' and second off, why didn't you tell me you go to school here? I would've skipped school today if I'd known," I answered back.

"And that's exactly why I didn't tell you. Plus, I figured you'd seen me around school a lot, you know being top jock and whatnot," he replied arrogantly.

"You mean top jerk?" I asked. "Plus, I'd rather keep my food inside my stomach so that's why I keep away. And no I don't care about the top jocks or any of the jocks. You're all douchebags anyway!"

"That hurt," he said faking hurt by placing his and over his heart.

I rolled my eyes. Then the bell rang.

"YES!" I screamed as everyone filing out of the halls turned to stare at me.

"Can I help all of yous?" I asked and they immediately turned back around and off in direction of their classes.

"Damn, fiesty. I like fiesty," Asher said with a wink.

I turned back to Logan and Ashley. "This afternoon, we'll have a manners and non-fiesty lesson at my house."

Then I turned around and walked off to class before waving to Ashley and Logan. Logan was staring at Asher and Ashley was trying to push her along to class.

"Pshh," I said rolling my eyes as I stepped into homeroom.

I took a seat down near the back and waited for Travis. While I was waiting, I heard someone sit down beside me.

I turned to find Asher.

"Yep, I'm moving," I said as I started to get up.

"Nope," he said gripping my wrist and sitting me back down. You move, I move," he said with a smirk.

"Fine then! I'll just tell the teacher."

"What, that I'm hot? I think she knows that. Plus, she'll just tell you you're overreacting."

He had a point there. "I don't care," I said.

"Plus, most girls would die to be in your spot," he answered.

"Well gosh, I hate killing people. Let's stop and save those girls! Oh and by the way, I'm not most girls," I replied with a smirk as I got up out of my seat and walked over to the Barbies.

"Hey, girls" I said with a smile.

They looked at me like I was a freaking alien. I didn't mind though. I had a mission.

"Um, Asher back there says he wants you guys to sit with him. Oh and while there, please try to keep him away from me. I hate him. Plus, if he likes me then there's no chance for you guys and I'd hate for that to happen." I told them.

The Barbies suddenly rushed out of their seats, grabbing their purses and strutted over to Asher, sitting so he was in the middle of them.

"Have fun," I whispered.

He sent me a smirk before getting up and walking my way.

Little did he know, I thought this one through. I walked over to where Blake and Dylan, two other jocks were sitting. There was an empty seat between them, probably reserved for Paul or some other jock but without hesitation I took it. They could find another one.

"Hey boys," I said pasting a sexy, flirtatious smile on my face.

At first they were shocked but then they went along with it.

"Hey babe," Dylan said.

"Well doesn't someone look sexy today," I said winking at him.

"Hey what bout me!?" Blake said.

"Damn, two sexy guys and I'm stuck in between them. Guess I won't be paying attention in class," I said.

Asher walked over to us and my smile disappeared.

"Excuse me, closed group," I said.

"Dylan, up," Asher said.

"No," I said. "Dylan doesn't want to move."

"Dylan, get up," Asher said, more angrily this time I smirked. It was so easy to piss him off.

"No," Dylan said.

"Dylan, get up or else-" Asher started.

"Or what?" I cut him off. "He's going to be off the football team? You can't do that. You may be the freaking self-centered, asshole captain but only the coach can cut players off the team. Plus, he doesn't have to say yes. And I know it's hard for you to get said 'no' to but get used to it. And if you were sitting here, next to me, and I was actually flirting with you, you wouldn't want to move either," I exclaimed.

"Whatever," Asher said.

At that moment, Travis walked through the door and I jumped out of my seat. "Here, take that one," I said to Asher. Then I turned to Blake and Dylan. "Thanks for the good time boys. See ya round hopefully," I said with a wink as I strutted over to Travis.

The Barbies, after being rejected by Asher, had moved back to their original seat. Travis was where they had been or where I had been, in the back.

"Hey, I'm just going to follow you," Asher said behind me.

"Oh really?" I asked as I walked closer to Travis.

"Oh crap," he muttered.

"Bye," I said smirking.

"Wait," he said gripping onto my wrist.

"Let go," I said as I gritted my teeth.

"Party. Tonight. You going?" he asked.

"Nope. Especially not going if you're there!" I exclaimed. I caught him off guard so I was able to free my wrist from his grip as I stalked back over to Travis and sat down, resting my head on the desk.

"You okay? Want me to talk to that asshole?" Travis asked.

"It's fine. If he keeps it up though, he won't be able to have sex tonight at the party. Or- nevermind. That doesn't help on my part. That just means he can save his money instead of using it for condoms," I said.

Travis laughed. "You're so weird."

"Hey!" I said playfully punching him on the arm. Or at least I thought it was until I saw him wince.

"Sorry!" I said. "Oh my gosh are you okay!?"

"What the fuck do you eat? You're stronger than the whole football team put together!" He exclaimed.

I laughed. "Thanks Travis."
