About a half hour later, Drew was fast asleep. I had placed him in his little crib in the play room. Asher and I were watching the movie 'The Last Song', one of my favorites.
My head was on his lap, my feet spread over half of the couch while Asher held my hand and played with my hair.
We were at the part where Will (Liam Hemsworth) helps Ronnie, (Miley Cyrus) watch after the turtle eggs at night and they keep smiling at each other all during the night. Asher chuckled lightly.
"What's so funny?" I asked, not bothering to take my eyes off the movie. Liam Hemsworth is so hot!
"They're like us! Actually exactly like us! You're the 'don't talk to me' and rebel kind of girl while I'm the popular, amazing, rich, and charming dude. Plus, you didn't like me before but look at us having so much fun now," he stated.
I had to agree with him. It was weird how much stuff we had in common with this movie, though.
"You're right," I agreed as he bent down and kissed my forehead.
After a little while, it came to the part where Ronnie's brother gave her money to buy a dress for the wedding. I smiled at my own personal memory.
"Are you okay?" Asher asked.
I finally turned to face him and gave him a questioning expression.
"You're crying," he stated.
Lately, I'v been crying without realizing it. I took my hand and poked my cheek. Yep, I had been crying. Asher gently kissed my cheeks, making the tears go away, as a blush made its way onto them.
"Sorry," I said knowing exactly why I had cried. The memory.
That was when Eliza had walked in. I hadn't heard the door open or the car park in the driveway but she was home now. She stared at me with worried eyes.
"Hey, you okay?" she asked, worry written all over her face.
Asher jumped slightly, as did I, but I just laughed.
"Yea, I'm fine. Just being emotional," I said to her.
Eliza glanced at the movie and gave me a disapproving look.
"You know, you shouldn't be watching this movie. All it's going to do is-" she started.
I coughed and tilted my head in Asher's direction, making her go silent and nod her head. I didn't want Asher knowing all about me.
"Um," I said getting up off the couch. "Drew's fast asleep in the play room and I'm sorry about the whole guest rule. I actually tried but it didn't work."
Eliza rolled her eyes. "I can see that," she said winking at me.
"Hey!" I said playfully hitting her. "It's not like that!"
"Whatever you say. As long as I get to be the godmother!" she answered back from the kitchen.
"Deal," someone said.
I turned and came face to face with Asher. I'm sure my face turned about six shades of red from embaressment as Asher smirked at me. I turned back around and saw Eliza wink at me before heading upstairs.
"Oh, right," she said running down a few steps till we were in her vision. "My bedroom, is off limits. If anything, use Riley's. Her waterbed is amazing!"
"Eliza!" I screamed as she laughed and ran back up the steps. Now I was probably ten shades of red.
Asher laughed, too.
