You nervously spread the snacks about the table and hurry towards the door. Just as you were reaching it, you heard a man's voice call,
"Excuse me, miss?" You whip your head around to see one of the executives staring straight at you. You offer a shaky,
"Yes?" in response.
"Could I trouble you for some water?"
"Of course! With ice?"
"Yes please, that would be magnificent."
"Can I get you anything else?"
"No, no. That will be sufficient. Thank you darling." And he winked at you as you went to fetch his water. You were so nervous that you didn't catch the side glances from the other men, and most importantly from Michael. You were also oblivious to the commentary in the room after you left.
"That was one fine specimen!" A producer remarked.
"Frank, I know you liked her!" He continued.
"You're right, she was hot, but I know who's going to get her!" Frank said smiling at Michael.
"Don't look at me like that!" Michael said defensively. He began to blush hard and then said,
"I think it's time to go fishing..." and he chuckled. The whole room erupted in laughter. The men were throwing jokes back and forth asking,
"Where's your hook Mikey?"
"I don't think you'll need much bait, the way them fish have been coming at you!" Little did you know that when you heard this humor as you walked back in, their "fishing" meant picking up girls, and the girl was you for the day.
