It was almost 7pm when we left Z's studio, walking home under the dimming skies. We stopped outside of Lola's home, settling our bodies by the closed gate as she sighed into the air with a sense of relief overwhelming her. Her eyes grazed me, a sparkle behind those blue orbs. Her aura was different, even before we went to the studio. Her glow seemed brighter, her skin and eyes held a more earthly atmosphere as her body language signalled a certain longing for the boy standing in front of her.

I swallow as she takes a step closer to me. "Thanks for today, Harry." I always loved the way she said my name, something in the way her mouth curved around the letters made my mind go wild.

"You're obviously welcome." I smile. "I kind of did it too, as a way of saying sorry for the other night at the exhibit." I lower my head as she sighs, I couldn't tell if she was angry or sad but her words filled me with light when she spoke next.

"Harry it's okay, I understand." She almost whispers that last word.

My head rises. "Really?"

She shrugs. "Yeah, of course." Her eyes seemed dimmer in that second, scanning across her garden. "I do need to make a decision." Her voice was almost a mutter, but it still impacted my emotions greatly.

I felt my heart race so loudly in that moment, a ringing in my ears. But I pushed away any anxiety, going with the rush as I let my fingers grace under her chin, guiding her face back to me as she stared into my eyes, a need in that blue universe swimming around in there. I exhaled gently, letting her own breath reel me in as I brushed my lips over the plumpness of her lips. She felt warm, a delicate touch that made my soul move forward and deepen the intimate moment. Lola responds immediately, wrapping her arms around my neck, my own snake around her waist as urgency pours from our bodies.

It felt like hours; our lips synced in a perfect dance as the stars smiled down at us. I let my tongue slide over her bottom lip as she moaned in response, but she pulls away too suddenly and in seconds I am left aching for her touch again. Her eyes scan over the structure she calls home, guilt-ridding her spark as she sighs out a smoggy breath.

"We-It's getting late." Her body moves back, but in seconds her soul comes closer and her lips connect with mine again. Lasting only a few short seconds, our kiss breaks and she whispers goodbye to me and then enters her gate, walking into her home with a skip.

I sighed when I began my journey, all-in-all a warm smile on was on my lips the entire walk home that night.

I arrived home to find nothing but darkness, an indication that no one was home yet. I check the time on the clock as I enter the kitchen. 9:33pm. It was still early so I made myself some grilled cheese and hot cup of tea. But instead of heading to my room and into my ever-so-welcoming bed, I motioned for that faded green garage door.

It was cold within these walls, I gently place my tea and plate down before letting light flow through, turning to the heater quickly to set it on high. When I finished my grilled cheese, I sipped on my tea as I walked around the garage gathering supplies to start painting. The atmosphere was growing warmer, and with that welcoming air, inspiration poured out of me. My tea went cold as soon as that canvas was set up, paintbrush in hand and paints mixed and ready. I sketched for hours, getting every detail perfect before those colours graced across this empty canvas.

For hours I painted, occasionally having a break to make more tea, but soon those brushes would be moulded into my fingers again as they glided colour across that white canvas. I painted the night sky, and the stars and the moon smiling down on her glowing skin. I dared to create the perfect blue-eyed girl as she laid out on the grass with a book covering her pale features. I painted my favourite memory of her, absorbed into the pages of a novel as she gracefully danced in the new universe that played across her colourful mind.

It was late morning when I was awoken the next day, I could tell by the way that sun beamed so brightly into my eyes as my mother ripped open the curtains. A few unforgiving sounds left her lips as she tidied around my room as I pretended to stay asleep in my warm bed, hoping she would just leave me be.

But hope was a tricky thing. "Harry?" Her voice belched loudly, pulling my warm blanket from my skin. "Have you been painting all night again?"

I don't reply, I simply grumble a rather unpleasant noise and shove my head into the safety of the pillow next to me. This only entices her more, gripping that softness with her hands to yank it from under my head. My face would have read bloody murder as I looked at the woman I call mother, her eyebrow just cocked as her green eyes watched me intently.

"It's lunchtime, Harry." She explains. "Time to get up."

I scrunch my face. "Give me one good reason why."

I hear a snicker by my door, my sisters piercing eyes full of mischief. I narrow my eyes at her, ignoring the sigh from my mother. "What?" I grouch.

"Oh nothing," Gemma sings. "It's just, isn't your college interview today?"

My mother scolds her with glaring eyes, but I didn't care. My body had never moved more quickly as I jumped from my bed, running straight into the bathroom to shower as my sister giggled in the background of my misadventure.

Sunday evening, a dim and dreary day as storm clouds threatened the surface of our town. My eyes searched around the dark street, a certain nervous atmosphere around me as the building before me screamed and yelled with noise. I wrap my coat around the frame of my body tightly, sealing in the warmth as I sat on the step below, a cold concrete structure.

Moments pass and I'm left wondering if I should just go inside, but when heavy breaths turn the corner and her dark hair comes into my view, I smile widely.

"Sorry, I'm late." Her voice was breathless, but as she walked closer and closer it was me who was left breathless now.

She was bare today, no makeup as all. Her hair was in a natural wavy state, her eyes seemed to glow brighter under that dim sky. I couldn't ignore that rapid beat of my heart as I stood, the beats increased with each second I stared into her blue eyes. She smiled, a charming look on her features as we inch closer and closer.

"It's okay," I reply lowly.

I watched her lips, her eyes, her rosy cheeks. "So what are we doing here?" Her question throws me off, eyes looking to the building she pointed to.

I let a smirk grace my lips. "Follow me."

Our hands linked together in a cold connection as I gently guided her into the building, we descended the stairs together and each step echoed against the old walls around us. I could hear her breath perfectly as I pulled her down the narrow hallway, each inhale and each exhale. She seemed nervous as we stopped out the front of the door, even more so when I pulled a key out of my pocket.

"What are you-" I cut her off by pushing the door open, revealing the dark studio.

"Come on." I chuckle as she awaits at the doorway, fiddling with the buttons on her coat.

"Are you sure this is okay?" She nervously asks, walking into the cold studio with a wary expression.

"Of course." My fingers find the light switch quickly, finally allowing light to illuminate the area. Her eyes were wide with wonder once again, a smile ghosting her cold lips as she closed the door behind her. "Z is out of town for an exhibit, and he said we could come by and use some of his supplies."

"Really?" Lola gushes.

"Yeah," I shrug. "As long as we water his plants."

Lola giggles as she looks around the walls, seemingly absorbed by the art around her. I take my coat off as the heat kicks in, glancing at the girl with wonder in my eyes. She slowly stepped along the wood floors, her eyes sparkling as she admired each and every piece of art created around her, the paintings her obvious favourite as she smiled wider at a large piece nearing the window.

I take the opportunity to step closer to her, standing near the small frame of this blue eyed girl with a rapid heartbeat. I could see goosebumps forming on her skin from my breath, the air tickling her exposed skin as she remained still in her place, staring at the painting. I let my fingers ghost the softness of her arms, feeling the pale skin with my own.

Lola turns to me as my touch pulls away, a longing in those blue eyes. Her face was so pure and so raw tonight, so beautiful as those lips curved around her face and her jaw moved with each time she swallowed. Her face was inches closer to mine, but I didn't kiss her, I waited.

"So, what are we doing here?" She whispers.

I smirk. "I have an idea, but if you're not comfortable with it, obviously we can do something else." As he words leave my lips, my hands rise up her the skin of her arms, more goosebumps form on the paleness of her body. Her breath was slightly heavier as she stared into my soul, an electric feeling pulsing through our veins.

"What kind of idea?" She questions, her tone begging for more.

I cock an eyebrow, letting my large hands slide off the coat she wore to the ground as anticipation guided us together.
