I walked past by the park this evening,
When I glanced at this middle aged woman;
Her face looked familiar, I wondered if I knew her.
She was holding a book, A book that I gave;
O' Heavens, My beloved sat at the park,
After all these years reading the book of love;
She looked so elegant and classic now,
I remember the days when we held hands together;
I must go talk to her but, what if I fall in love again?
Can't risk my broken heart for another storm that I can't bear.
I was standing right there, she looked right into my eyes;
Thousands of words were expressed through our glance.
"It's so good to see you again," she blinked.
"Mommy!" yelled a little boy running towards her;
My beloved was a mother of a child and wife of a man.
A man who truly cares for her, more than I did.
It was indeed good to see her, after all these years.
A meet I will always remember.
