I stood there looking at him dead serious in the eyes to get any hint if this was any of his jokes or not. But unfortunately I couldn't see any...
I can't marry Taehyung....I don't like him like that...I have been trying and trying but...my heart remains the same..
But if I don't marry someone...Jungkook will leave Jisoo at the alter and she'll be broken...and it'll be all my fault.... The weddings in less than month, how in the world can I find someone else to marry.....other than Taehyung. He's so good to me and without a doubt...I know he'll love me unconditionally.
But I still can't....
"Taehyung...I-Im sorry...b-" I was cut off when a voice spoke from the door of the balcony.
"Sorry for interrupting....but...before you say anything y/n....." My Eomma began to speak as she walked closer, Taehyung and I let go of each other and took a step back.
"Can you please give us a second Taehyung.." She spoke softly at him rubbing his arm. He quickly obliged and walked back into the room leaving me and my mother.
"Y/N..." she started off.
"You should....accept his proposal..." she held onto my hands looking so dearly at me. I still couldn't answer and I just let her speak.
"You should stop waiting....for him.." I looked at her and I saw her looking down at Jungkook. What? Does she know?
"F-for him?.."
I asked pretending not to know anything.
"Yes...for Jungkook..."
"I don't..know wh-"
"I know you're the reason he those doubts in his eyes.....the reason why he's so hesitant when it comes to his marriage to Jisoo..."
I looked down knowing that if I look at her she'll know it was true.
"I see the way he looks at you...the way you look at him...but y/n...he loves Jisoo...because if he didn't...he wouldn't be here...at his engagement party.." another tear escaped my eyes but my mother wiped it off.
"I-I...." I started off but Im finding it hard to speak knowing that a sob will come along.
"Marry Taehyung...find happiness in him...he's a good guy...he's financially stable now...and will be for a long time...hes already taking care of you...he loves you...and I can see that.."
"But...I dont love him.."
"You will learn to....just like me...to your Appa."
"Huh?"
"In the beginning...I was in love with Jisoo father...just like he was to me...but I was arranged to marry your father...and I had no choice....so I learned to love him...just like Jisoos father learned to love her mother.....you will learn to love Taehyung...."
Learn to love Taehyung...is it really time to officially let go....let go of my love for Jungkook?....
"Think about it...okay.." he kissed my forehead and made her way out..
3rd person pov
Y/N Eomma made her way downstairs and bumped into Jungkook on the way as he was going up.
"Jungkook-ah..." she held his arm and he turns back to look at her.
"Hm?"
"Can we talk?"
"Sure Umma.."
They made their way downstairs into the living room where it was empty since the guests were outside.
"Its about y/n.." she started off and it was no joke when jungkooks eyes started to fill with worry straight away.
"What happened? Is she okay?"
"She's more than okay..."
"Then what is it.."
"Taehyung....he uhm...he proposed...to y/n"
Jungkook eyes were unreadable at this moment, his mind and heart aches he's angry and frustrated..but there's so much more emotions wanting to spill out but he's holding it in.
"She hasn't answered yet.." she looked at him and she feels so bad for having to tell him this but...she needed to.
"Wh-why are you ....telling me.." he looked down his breathing unstable.
"Because...I know..she'll listen to you...I want you..to make her say yes..."
Jungkook looked back at her and he could only hear his own heart breaking, his breathing has became so slow he thinks he's suffocating.
Y/N mother walked out of the living room after patting him on the shoulders, she couldn't bare to see Jungkook look broken but she's doing this for her own daughter.

Jungkook stood at the balcony door looking at y/n back as she stares at the crowd. How he badly wants to hug her right now.. like that morning in America...just like this on the balcony...he proposed to her... Only this time...she got proposed to again..
But not by him..
He cleared his throat as he takes another step into the balcony causing y/n to look back.
Her eyes fixated on him as he keeps his head down and slowly lifting it to look at her.
He knows what he has to do...
at the end of the day...he was the one that...started this whole both of them getting married.
"Hey..." he spoke ever so softly.
"Hey.."
"Uh...I heard..that uhm....Taehyung hyung proposed...." her eyes widened as she looks at him...no wonder he looks more worse than before.
"I-" she stopped herself from talking and just turned around trying to avoid anything else.
He quickly turned her around holding her close but not too close. "Are you going to marry him?...." his eyes pooled just like hers but she didn't dare to speak and she just stares at him as he stares at her, getting lost in each others presence all over again.
Someone cleared her throat from the door causing them to break out of their closeness. They both turned their heads and it was none other than Jisoo.
"Jisoo.." Jungkook spoke.. taking a step back just like y/n.
"What are you both doing?" Jisoo felt her heart sting seeing how passionate they both looked into each other under the moonlight.
"Uh...just talking..." y/n said avoiding eyes from both of them.
"About what?"
"Taehyung...he uhm...proposed.." y/n spoke out ever so easily just to make things faster.
Jisoos eyes widened and it didn't take her another second to finally see what was happening, they were both being in each others embrace because they realised they can't be together at all.
"Jungkook leave..." Jisoo started and Jungkook looked at her confused.
"What? Why?"
"I said leave!" Jungkook quickly looked at y/n and Jisoo and made his way out.
When the door closed Jisoo walked closer to the edge of the balcony and looked far into the distance.
"You're going to marry him right?....Taehyung.." Jisoo asked so coldly.
"I don't know yet.."
"You should marry him..."
"But I d-"
"You should marry him and stop being a slutty best friend and so you could stay away from my fiancé!!" Jisoo finally looked at y/n but her eyes filled with anger.
"Jisoo...I.."
"Stop it!...Jungkook loves me!...we're the one getting married for goodness sake!!...Is Taehyung not enough!!" Jisoo turned her heels and walked out bumping into y/n shoulder before exiting.
Thats when she finally broke down falling to her knees she felt so weak.....
~later in the night~
Y/N finally went down but there was no more guests just Jungkooks family along with y/n and Jisoos and Taehyung and his hyungs.
They were all in the living room when all their eyes shifted towards y/n direction when she entered.
With no emotions on her Taehyung walked over to her." Are you okay?" Y/N looked at Taehyung and smiled.
She grabbed his hands intertwining them together and faced everyone.
"Eomma..." y/n called out for mother and everyone's attention along with it. Everyone looked at both of them hand in hand.
"What is it y/n" Her mother held onto her other hand as she was still sitting down.
"Im marrying Taehyung.."
