As a general rule real smiles are symmetrical and produce creases around the eyes and mouth, whereas fake smiles, for whatever reason, tend to be mouth-only gestures.

1. Pasted smile (appears quickly, is fixed for longer than a natural smile, and seems not to extend to the eyes) typically indicates suppressed displeasure or forced agreement of some sort.

2. Tight-lipped smile (Stretched across face in a straight line, teeth concealed) signals secrecy or withheld feeling.

3. Twisted smile shows opposite emotions on each side of the face.

4. Dropped jaw smile ( jaw is dropped lower than in a natural smile) indicates faked smile.

5. Smile-head tilted, looking up(Head tilted sideways and downwards) shows playfulness, teasing, or coy.

6. Bottom lip jutting out means the person is upset.

7. Laughter (  Natural laughter can extend to all the upper body or whole body) indicates  relaxation or feeling at ease.

8. Forced Laughter is often a signal nervousness or stress. Artificial laughter is a signal of cooperation and a wish to maintain empathy.

9. Biting lip indicates tension or stress due to high concentration.

10. Teeth grinding may be due to suppression of natural reaction due to fear or other suppressant.

11. Chewing gum is more likely to be a signal of tension or suppression. (or can simply be to freshen breath, or as a smoking replacement.)

12. Smoking, chewing pen/pencil or Thumb-sucking indicates self-comfort.

13.Pursing lips (As if holding the words in the mouth until they are ready to be released) shows thoughtfulness or upset.

14. Tongue poke (The tongue extends briefly and slightly at the center of the mouth as if tasting something nasty) indicates disapproval or rejection.

15. Hand clamped over mouth  shows suppression, holding back, shock.

16. Nail biting is often a signal of frustration or suppression.
