your phone rings.
"hi, it's y/n"

it's manu, and he sounds so happy.
you're not happy at all.

manu's voice sounds differently.
then he starts to laugh.
"is my girl on her period?"
you smile a little.
he knows you so well.
"yes, and i'm-"
your boyfriend interrupts you.
"say no more-, i'm on my way"
you put down the phone and cover yourself with all the cozy blankets you were in before manu called.
he better bring some chocolate.
when you want to turn to your other side, you suddenly get a horrible cramp.
you cringe from the pain.
oh dear lord, why don't boys have periods?
just when you're thinking about how unfair this horrifying world is, you hear a knock on your door.
"knock knock"
manu says.
"who's there?"
you answer laughing.
"your saving prince"
"i'm sorry, but this queen don't need a king"
you answer.
you can hear his cute giggle through the door.
he comes in.
"bonjour mon amour"
"did you bring food?"
"wow, calm down", he laughs.
"i'm sorry, i just feel terrible."
"aww, it's nothing sweetheart, i feel so bad for you, come here"
you open up the covers and he crawls in bed next to you, and cuddles up with you.
"and you're lucky by the way, i did bring some chocolate with me."
"i love you i love you i love you i love you" you say, grabbing the box of strawberry chocolates from his hands.
"i love you too, y/n"
while you open the box, you abruptly groan from another cramp.
"oh babygirl, are you okay?"
you look up at manu painfully, and he looks very worried.
"yes, i'm fine"
"is this normal?"
you cackle,
"it's obvious you haven't had many girlfriends"
"i'll interpret that as a yes", he laughs.
"i'll warm up a pit cushion for you", manu proposes.
he goes downstairs.
how sweet can a person be?
a couple minutes later you hear him coming upstairs.
"here i am, princess"
he comes in carrying a pit cushion.
manu comes near the bed and he gently lifts you up a little so he can place the hot cushion beneath your back.
he puts a kiss on your forehead and lays down next to you.
you smile at him while enjoying the warmth of the panacea.
manu twirls your hair.
"so shall i give you a massage or-"
you laugh.
"no thanks, this will do for now"
"i'll give you a massage when your period is over" he says, with a wink.
you slap him softly, sniggering.
he wraps his arm around you and you rest your head on his warm shoulder.
you lay like that for a while before you both fall asleep.
