It's been two weeks. Two whole fucking weeks without my baby at home with me, playing around. I haven't moved from Layla's side. Maybe to use the bathroom, but other than that, nothing. I probably stink...oh fucking well. I blame myself. If I would've stayed at home, maybe this wouldn't have happened. Maybe. What did I ever do wrong to deserve this? I am the best mother I can be. Why would somebody run over a innocent child and leave? That's a questioned unanswered.
"Demarie?" The hospital room door opened.
"What?"
"You know what. You need to go home and get some rest. You've been at this hospital, all this time." Zaria says.
"I'm not leaving. We talk about this everyday."
"Why not?" Bria stressed.
"Layla would want me to be here with her."
"De, come on. Look, we'll stay here, while you go home and take a little nap." Zaria pleaded.
Maybe I should. "I don't know..."
"Demarie take yo' short ass home. We'll call you if anything happens."
"Fine." I say. "I can't stand you hoes." I mumbled.
"Yeah, yeah. Go!" They both say.
Instead of going home, I drive in the direction of August house.
I don't wanna be alone because if I do...I might regret it.

"Man...Naya, I done told yo' ass over five times, to quit coming over my damn house. I don't want you, nomore. Ya' heard me."
"Aug, baby why you be playing?" She said, brushing up on me.
"Yo' shorty chill the fuck out. I know who I want and it ain't you." I tell her crazy ass. She laughed.
"You really think so?" I pushed her off me.
"Fuck you mean?"
"Oh nothing. How's the kid?"
"Hol' up. What chu' talking bout?"
"Oh August, you do damn slow! I ran over that bitch daughter so we could be together."
"YOU DID WHAT?" Somebody yells.
I look up seeing Demarie. When she get here?
Naya giggled. "Oh so you the little bitch mama?"
"Bitch? You got me fucked up. You got some fucking nerve. Say someelse about my fucking child. Imma owe you two ass whoopings." Demarie snared.
"Blah, Blah, Blah. That's why I fucked August while yo' bastard child was laid up in the hospital." My mouth dropped. This hoe gone make me beat her ass next.
The next thing I know, Lil' ma was fucking Naya shit up. I tried grabbing Demarie.
"August don't fucking touch me!"
I moved back. Demarie stomped her one last good time and spit in her face.
"Don't fuck with my child!" She grabbed her stuff and stormed out.

"Aye ma. Demarie wait." August ran after me.
"Leave.Me.Alone."
"Mane, I didn't touch that girl."
"You promised..." Tears started falling then.
"I'm telling you the truth."
"That's what he told me." I pulled off.
Tears was falling, making it hard for me to see. I was swerving
But, what I didn't know was that a 18-wheeler was heading straight for me.
That last thing I remember is hearing a loud horn blow and my car flipping over before blacking out.
