"Camz!" Lauren yelled as she watched Camila shove her phone into her pocket, running towards where Lauren was standing outside of the Frost building with Ally and who Camila assumed was Normani.
"I missed you," Camila giggled as she ran straight into Lauren's waiting hug, her arms finding their way around Lauren's middle.
"Didn't ya'll see each other like less than 12 hours ago? How about some love for someone you haven't seen in like eight years," Ally laughed as she pulled Camila and Lauren apart and went in for a hug of her own. "Look how much taller you've gotten, you're so grown up," Ally told her as she pulled back to get a good look at Camila.
"You haven't grown at all," Camila said playfully, causing Ally to smack her on the arm.
"You must be Normani?" Camila asked looking over at the dark skinned girl standing a couple feet away.
"I am, nice to meet you Camila," Normani said as the two shook hands.
"Good to put a face to this morning's texts," Camila laughed while she looked over at Lauren who was glaring at them with arms crossed. "Do you guys mind if I steal Lauren for the afternoon?" She asked and Ally and Normani smiled at her sweetly.
"Go for it," Normani said as she threw her arm around Ally. "Al and I will go entertain ourselves elsewhere."
"Have fun love birds," Ally called out as the two of them walked away and Camila smiled while Lauren protested what Ally had said.
"Ready?" Camila said turning to Lauren. "I have a surprise for you."
"Sure, where are we going?" Lauren asked with a smile as she pulled her car keys from the pocket of her school bag. "I drove today, so you'll have to give me a location."
"I don't think so," Camila said snatching Lauren's keys. "It's a surprise, so I guess I'll be driving your car!"
