A few days later
{Shawn's POV}
"How do I look?" Ian says, looking in my mirror.
"Ian you look fine." I laugh. "Why are you caring so much?"
"First impressions are everything."
"But you don't even know if you'll like Olivia."
"Well what do you think of her?" Ian asks.
I spray my cologne and reply saying, "I mean she's a pretty girl, and she's funny."
"Well that's good enough for me."
"I think we're gonna meet them both at the bar. But I wanna leave in a minute, I don't want them waiting for us."
"Can I be honest with you?" He says, changing his tone.
"Sure." I reply.
"You know at that Christmas party?"
"I do know that one."
"Well I was at the bar, and I think you were talking to Andrew, and this girl comes and stands next to me. And oh my god she was so beautiful. We talked for only a little bit because she was going to go back to her friend. I even paid for her drinks, and she said that I didn't have to, but I insisted. And she went, and I didn't see her again."
"No name?"
"Nothing."
"Oh Ian-"
"I think about her all the time, wondering if I'm going to be walking down the street and I'll bump into her."
"Well let's just go on this double date thing, and if you don't like Olivia, then you don't, I just gotta go and make Lexi happy."
"Who knows, what if Olivia was the girl? Man that would be great."
"I mean I doubt it but you never know." I smile.
"But look at you Shawn."
"What about me?" I say, as I tie up my shoes.
"Shawn Mendes in a solid relationship in the first time in years.
"Iannnnn".
"What? Never thought I'd see the day when you were all loved up."
"Ian stop-"
"She's good for you, I haven't seen you this happy since school."
"I'm so stressed though." I reply.
"How comes?"
"There's so much pressure at the label, they want me to write and produce some more songs, and when Im under a deadline, I just can't write."
"You can only write when you can, and they gotta know deadlines aren't everything."
"I know, I just got to wait and see."

{Lexi's POV}
"Right the taxi will be about 10 minutes, are you ready?" I ask, as I tie up the straps on my heels. So
"Lexi I don't know if this is a good idea-"
"Olivia it is, and besides, we can't cancel now. Shawn just sent me a message that him and his friend Ian have just left his house."
"But what if I don't like him, or he's a weirdo, or it's awkward."
"Ian is not like that. I've met him a few times and he's such a nice guy. And he made me laugh a lot too. And if you don't like him, then you don't. Simple as. Let's just go and have a good time if nothing else."
"I'm so nervous."
"Since when does Olivia get nervous?" I ask.
"Since she wants to make a good impression."
"Listen to me, you look fucking drop dead gorgeous, so keep your head up, and lets go." I laugh.
"Subtle much?" She giggles.

Shortly, we arrive at the semi-packed bar, I keep a look out for Shawn and Ian.
"Maybe they're not here." Olivia states.
"Shawn said they were, let's just keep looking." I reply.
"I might get a drink-"
"No you're not, I see them, let's go over."
"Lexiiiiiiiii-" Olivia whines.
"Hey Shawn." I say, giving him a quick kiss, as he wraps his arms around my waist. I turn back to see Olivia just staring at Ian. I look at Ian and he's doing the same.
"Ian, this is Olivia." Shawn says.
"Olivia?" I say, as she didn't say a word.
"Ian? Are you not gonna say anything?" Shawn also asks.
"You're the girl, from the party." Ian says, shocked.
"You're him-"
"I'm so confused." Shawn says.
"Me too." I reply.

{Olivia's POV}
"I didn't think I'd see you again." I finally manage to say.
"Same here, I can't believe it, you're Lexi's best friend.
"Can someone please tell me what's going on?" Lexi asks.
"Lexi, it's him. Ian is the guy from the party."
"Okay you guys have to get together, it's fate." She eagerly replies.
"Would you like a drink?" Ian asks me, smiling.
"I'd love one, I'll go with you."

{Shawn's POV}
"Who would've thought, both our best friends loved the other and none of us knew." I say, holding Lexi.
"I'm so mindblown, but they'd be so cute together."
"I think we're cute together." I say, kissing her gently.
She turns around and we see that Ian and Olivia are talking lots at the bar.
"I see a future relationship." Lexi smiles, before turning back to me.
"How about I get me and you a drink, and we go and dance?"
"I'd love nothing more."

{Lexi's POV}
"I think I'm a little teeny bit drunk." I whisper in Shawn's ear.
"You think?" He laughs. "Well how about we go home and go bed?"
"Sounds boring." I reply.
"You're too drunk for anything else babe."
"Fine, whatever."
"We need to find Olivia and Ian." Shawn says.
"I've hardly seen them all night." I reply.
"Well how about I go and find them and you stay right here. I'll come back and we'll call an uber."
"I won't move." I laugh.

{Shawn's POV}
I leave Lexi and I start to walk around, in hopes of finding them.
I was about to give up and go back, until I saw them in the booth.
"I couldn't find-" I pause, as clearly they weren't paying attention, as they're faced were basically on each other's.
I waited patiently and very awkwardly for them to notice I was there.
After a few moments Ian finally looks up.
"Oh...Shawn." He grins.
"Me and Lexi are gonna go back, are you two getting in the uber with us?" I ask, once again, awkwardly.
"Um..... I think we're going back to my place." Ian says.
"Tell Lexi that I'm so grateful that she forced me to come out tonight." Olivia smiles, whilst holding on to Ian.
"Sure.... No problem." I reply, before saying goodbye to them both and heading back to Lexi.

"Let's go." I say, putting my arm around Lexi's side.
"Did you not find them?" She stutters, as we walk out the doors of the bar.
"They're doing there own thing." I smile, before kissing her on the top of her head.
"I'm happy for them." She replies, looking up to me and stops walking .
"Lexi Delilah Taylor, I'm so madly in love with you." I smile, as we stand under the street light.
