i didn't go back to school for a good week Dave went in and explained to my head teacher what had happened they just sent work home with him so i didn't get behind on anything, i was happy, kelly was on the phone to Sarah i was trying to listen in but only hearing one side of anything doesn't really give much away
''ok thankyou so much sarah, i'll let her know i think she'll be happy, yeah bye''
kelly entered the room with a massive smile on her face
''well kiddo'' that was dave's nickname for me but kelly had starting using it too
''sarah has got in touch with him and he's flying over to meet you, Sarah told him about your mum and jogged his brain a little bit and then he remembered her and did the maths in his head i think and well i guess she then knew she wasn't lying, anyway he should be here some time later on in the week'' i couldn't help but smile im ten closest thing ive had to a dad is Dave but i was finally going to meet my father
''really?''
''yup''
she went to walk out the room dave has been working a lot and its mainly been me and kelly during the day
''kelly?''
'yeah whats up?''
''will you come with me to meet him?''
''you don't want dave to come?''
''its not that i just feel like i don't know i just want you too come''
''of course i will if thats what you want'' she smiled and left to room to make dinner
''now get on with that work, we wouldn't want your dad thinking we just let you stay off school would we now?'' she laughed
its funny to think how i made up stories about my dad being a wrestler when people asked what my dad did... since he was a wrestler, well at least i know i wasn't lying too them...
