i had a dream last night that you came back to me. every shred of rage i had just melted away, and you laid there, holding onto me, the words dripping off of your tongue like honey and sugar as you apologized for leaving,
for hurting me and when you kissed me you tasted of it too. we kissed and kissed, pouring every apology, every tear shed, every ounce of love into one another.
and i awoke screaming, not because i hated it, not because i hated you
not because it was a nightmare
but because it was everything that i had been wishing for.
