"Aight 'chal, i'm out. I might slide through tomorrow." I tell Jay.
"Fasho'." He gave me dap.
Grabbing my keys, I stand up walking out the studio room I was in.
I walk outside the building seeing somebody leaning against my car.
"Yo', what the fuck you want?"
I say to Quan, once I see it was him.
He chuckled. "Aug, it's like that? I thought we was cool?"
"Mane, cool it with all that bullshit. Fuck outta here."
"Aye, lil' nigga. You think you tough nah?" He gripped his piece in his pocket.
"Pot'nah, what's really good? Fuck what you talkin' bout. I'll holla at you later homie."
I slid into my car and drove off.
"This ain't over!" I heard him yell. Yeah, iight.
Once I took a shower and got dressed, it was time for me to go get Demarie, so I jumped in my whip and was on my way.
D E M A R I E
I was putting the finishing touches on my outfit. I fixed my hair as I slipped on my 5-inch heels that matched my dress.
Layla was out with Shae, the babysitter I hired, doing stuff while I went out with August tonight.
"You look cute."
I hear somebody say behind me. I scream, turning around. August started laughing.
I punched him. "Ugh! You play too much."
"Ma, you should've seen yo' face."
"Fuck you!"
"When?" He says, seriously.
"Why are you so childish?" I ask.
He shrugged with a snide grin.
I rolled my eyes. "Come on."
