"Seriously? Frat shirt saka jeans? Yan ang isusuot mo?" Natalie said when she entered the room kung saan ako nagpalit. She's looking incredibly beautiful as ever wearing an off shoulder bohemian jumpsuit habang nakalugay ang kanyang mahabang buhok na kinulot niya.
"What? I missed wearing this shirt. It's not like Im going to prom Nat. This is totally fine and besides, they are on their way here. Wala na akong oras para mag ayos. Saka this is their party, not mine. No one will care what I would look like." I explained habang ipinusod ang aking buhok. I reached for my bag at kumuha ng pulbos since wala na din akong panahon na maglagay ng kahit ano pa mang makeup sa aking katawan.
"Tara? I still have to check kung okay na lahat." Aya ko kay Natalie ng makatayo ako mula sa pagkakaupo sa kama ngunit laking gulat ko ng hilahin ako nitong muli paupo.
My eye brows creased. "A-anong ginagawa mo? We dont have time for this. Ichecheck ko pa--" Di ko na naituloy ang sasabihin ko ng dumampi ang lipstick ni Natalie sa aking labi. I immediately flinched back ng marealize ko kung ano ang ginagawa niya.
"What do you think youre doing?" I asked her
She rolled her eyes bago niya ako hinalang muli papalapit sakanya. "Giving you some make over? Girl, you totally need it. You're dating one of the hottest guys in the campus, everybody will totally care about how you look like. It's time para ipakita mo sakanilang lahat how much of a queen you really are. Ever since pumasok ka dito never kitang nakitang naka make up. Let me be your fairy god mother for tonight." She winked at me
I mentally rolled my eyes at saka tumawa. Oh, the perks of having a girl friend. Pero kung tutuusin, I never wore makeup this semester. Siguro dahil nasanay din ako noong nagpapanggap pa akong si Blue.
Without thinking further I found myself agreeing to what Natalie suggested and before I can stop myself, Natalie was already doing her magic.
After twenty long minutes she finally stopped. She smiled at me before she handed me clothes na kinuha niya sa bag niya.
"Seriously? Nagdala ka talaga ng damit?" Natatawang tanong ko sakanya
She shrugged. "Well, didnt I tell that Im your fairy godmother? I know that this will happen." She teased me
"Now go shoo, put on those clothes before my magic runs low." Dagdag niya
I chuckled before I muttered thankyou at saka pumunta sa banyo upang magpalit.
Mabilis kong isinuot ang itim na jumpsuit na ipinahiram sa akin ni Natlie. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and decided to let my wavy brown hair down, I almost didnt recognized myself. Im not used to wearing fancy girly clothes like this but I found myself smiling while looking at my reflection. I wonder kung ano magiging reaction ni Alex pag nakita niya ako? Hay. Ano nanaman ba ang iniisp ko? I should check everything bago sila makadating dito. Why do I keep thinking of Alex.
"Who are you? And what have you done to Ahliv?" Pagbibiro ni Natalie ng makalabas ako ng banyo
I rolled my eyes at her saka tumawa. "I'll take that as a compliment Nat. Pero seryoso, salamat."
She smiled bago siya tumayo mula sa kama. "You're always welcome. Now come on, Cinderella let's start our surprise party."

"They're here! Everyone hide!" Sigaw ni Lee pagpasok niya ng pintuan
Hearing what Lee said, lahat kami ay nagtago na sa kanya kanya namin puwesto. Nagtago kami ni Natalie sa likod ng couch na nasa receiving area. We successfully decorated the whole receiving area with colorful banners. Ngayon ay hinihintay nalang namin ang pagpasok nila Alex sa pintuan.
My grip tightened sa confetti na hawak ko as I hear thump of footsteps outside the house. I grinned at Natalie na mukhang excited na din sa pagsusurprise. Ilang segundo pa ang lumipas at narinig na namin ang pagbukas ng pintuan.
"What the--" Narinig kong sabi ni Tyler kaya naman sabay sabay kaming lumabas mula sa mga pinagtataguan namin and we all shouted in union.
"SURPRISEEEE!! WELCOME BACK CHAMPIONS!!" Sabay sabay na sigaw namin sabay pop ng confetti na hawak namin.
The whole A.D.C team were all shocked as well as the G.V. girls. My gaze landed on Reggie na napatakip ng kamay sa kanyang bibig. Her eyes were teary. Nang napatingin siya sa akin ay agad din naman siyang ngumiti at tumakbo papunta sakin saka ako niyakap ng mahigpit.
"We won!" Sabi ni Reggie sakin nang hindi padin makapaniwala habang mahigpit pading nakayakap sakin.
I giggled. "I know Reg. It was a close match, but you girls made it. Im so proud of you."
"I told you she'd cry." Sabi ni Natalie kung kaya naman bumitaw si Reggie sa pagkakayakap sakin at humarap sakanya. Tinaasan niya ito ng kilay gaya ng lagi niyang ginagawa kay Natalie dati ngunit agad din namang ito napalitan ng ngiti at saka niya hinatak si Natalie upang yakapin. Napangiti naman ako dahil sa kanilang dalawa, who would have thought na magiging magkaibigan din itong dalawang ito na parang aso't pusa dati.
My heart literally skipped a beat when I felt someone's arms landed on my waist. "Did you miss me?" Alex whispered at the back of my ear, his minty breath causing shivers on my body.
Mabilis naman akong tumalikod upang harapin siya. Automatic namang ngumiti ang aking mga labi ng makita ang mukha niya. His face still has traces of mud galing sa mga activities nila kanina.
"Do you even have to ask that?" I said while I rubbed the mud off his face with my hands.
Tinaasan naman niya ako ng kilay. "Nawala lang ako ng limang oras and you've already turned into a woman? What happened to the man Im dating?" Biro ni Alex sakin
I scoffed. "Oh shut up Mr. Craid."
He chuckled. "You know how to." He winked at me drifting his gaze from my eyes down to my lips.
Agad namang nanglaki ang aking mata. Omo. Why do Alex had to be so good at flirting?
Muli siyang tumawa saka pinisil ng mahina ang aking ilong.
"Dont call me by my last name I might find it hard to resist the temptation of changing your last name into it." He winked at me before he leaned in to kiss my forehead.
I looked down trying to hide my face na namumula na dahil sa sinabi ni Alex. Geez. Bakit ba ang hilig magpakilig nitong taong to?
"Agh. Kelan ba ko masasanay sainyong dalawa? Kakatapos ko lang umiyak and now I feel like my eyes are burning having to witness the cheesiness of you both." A soft yet deep feminine voice said few inches away from us.
"Sus akala mo naman di sila ganyan ni Arch." Pagkontra naman ni Natalie kay Reggie.
Di ko naman napigilan ang aking pagtawa dahil nagsimula nanamang magkontrahan ang dalawa. There's just some things that never change.
A smile creeped into my lips nang maaninag si Arch sa likudan nila. "Speaking of the devil."
"Congrats beautiful." Sabi ni Arch pagdating niya sa kinatatayuan namin sabay halik sa pisngi ng nobya.
Agad namang namula ang pisngi ni Reggie katulad ng kulay ng buhok niya. Kumunot ang noo nito at saka hinampas si Arch sa braso.
"Ah! Wh- Ano nanaman yun?" Gulat na tanong ni Arch
"I told you not to be too cheesy in public right?!"
Di naman namin napigilan nila Natalie na matawa dahil sa inasal ni Reggie. She hates it kapag nag blublush siya in public.
"Ah! My eyes are hurting!" Natalie mocked Reggie kung kaya naman hinampas uli ni Reggie si Arch
"Ow! Geez. Remind me again why I'm dating this amazon?" Arch said to Alex habang hinihimas yung braso niya na hinampas ni Reggie
"What did you just said?!" Reggie exclaimed kaya nanlaki naman ang mga mata ni Arch saka ito dumila at tumakbo palayo. Sinundan naman siya ni Reggie at nagsimula nanaman silang maghabulan na parang mga bata.
Napailing nalang kaming tatlo as we watched the two of them.
"Di na ako magtataka kung maging battered husband si Arch someday. He shouldve said yes to me noong patay na patay pa ko sakanya." Pagbibiro ni Natalie
Alex shook his head habang patuloy padin sa pagtawa. "That boy do have a unique taste."
"Pero tingin ko di lang si Arch ang may unique taste. Goodluck Nat." Sabi ko kay Nat habang pinagmamasdan si Tyler na nakisalo na sa habulan nila Arch at Reggie. He's siding with Reggie at hinahampas nila ng throw pillow si Arch.
Nakita ko naman na napaface palm si Natalie on my peripheral view. She sighed. "I'll be back." Sabi niya before she went to Tyler.
Aawatin sana ni Nat si Tyler ngunit hinampas din siya nito ng unan kung kaya wala nang naging choice si Natalie kung hindi gumanti at makisali sa pillow fight.
Natigilan kaming lahat ng magsalita si Lyroi mula sa pool side. Naka mic siya kaya rinig hanggang sa receiving area yung boses niya.
"First of all. I just want to congratulate my fellow brothers!! And to all the gorgeous Gamma Virginis ladies here! We all put up a good fight this year, and I think the fact na nakatulong tayo sa iba is the biggest prize we can get. So cheers to all of the teams who I know put up a great effort para maging successful ang mga outdoor projects kanina! We are all winners! Cheers!" Lyroi said with all of sincerity in his voice.
"Well that was quite a speech." A deep voice said from behind
"Hey bro." Bati ni Alex kay Nate and they embraced eachother in a manly way (if it's that what you call that)
"Hi Chlo." Bati ko naman kay Chloe at saka bumeso.
"Congratulations Bro."
"Thanks. It was a close fight. You guys did great too. I'm looking forward for the next outdoor projects." Alex patted Nate's shoulders
"Congrats Alexis. Now, where is Reggie. What they did was so awesome. I need to congratulate her." Sabi naman ni Chloe
"Both of you were awesome earlier Chlo." I said saka itinuro kung nasaan si Reggie
Agad namang napa giggle si Chloe ng makita niya sila Reggie na hanggang ngayon ay nagpipillow fight padin. "Hay. These kids." Napapailing na sabi niya.
"Shall we start the party?" Aya ni Nate
Alex smiled at saka hinila ang aking kamay. "Race you to the beerpong table Nate!"

"No! No! No!" Malakas na pagtanggi ko habang hinahatak ako ni Alex patungo sa pool.
I closed my eyes as my body hit the cold water of the pool. I managed to laugh like crazy nang makatayo ako sa pool, winiwisikan ko si Alex ng tubig ngunit di ako sigurado kung natatamaan ko ba siya cause everything's starting to get blurry dahil marami rami na din ang aking nainom. Naka limang talo kasi kami sa beerpong kanina dahil sobrang pro ni Chloe maglaro. Tapos isinali pa ako ni Tyler sa tequila shot contest which I didnt aprove of, nasulat na niya yung pangalan ko sa list kaya wala na akong nagawa. But it was fun, and I unbelievably won after finishing 10 straight shots in 15 seconds. That's why I came up with a decision that I will soon join guiness book of records!
Okay, that was a joke. Or maybe epekto ng pagkalasing ko kaya kung ano ano na ang sinasabi ko.
"Chick fight! Chick fight! Chick fight!" The crowd cheered nang lumusong din sa pool si Nate at Chloe.
Lumapit si Alex sakin at tumalikod. "Put your legs on my shoulders love okay?" Sabi ni Alex bago siya lumubog sa tubig.
With the remaining sober cells in my body, agad ko din ginawa ang sinabi ni Alex and a few seconds later. I was on top of Alex's shoulders, several feet above the pool.
Nakita ko naman na nasa parehas na position si Chloe sa harapan namin. Nakapatong naman siya kay Nate.
"Okay! On the count of three let's start. 1..2..3!" Sabi ni Lyroi who is still hosting the whole party.
"I can't believe you're this strong!" Chloe said to me habang sinusubukan naming ihulog ang isat isa
I chuckled. "I feel you! San ka kumukuha ng lakas when your waist line is 22 Chlo? That's just crazy. You're so strong."
"I dont knoo-" Chloe almost fell ngunit nabalik niya agad ang balance niya sa balikat ni Nate
"Her waist line is 22 yet she still weight like a pig." Nate snorted
"HA. HA. Very funny Jonathan." Chloe mocked Nate
"Atleast she just weight like a pig, mine's literally a pig yet she's still as light as a feather. I wonder kung saan napupunta lahat ng kinakain nito eh." Sabi naman ni Alex kung kaya nadistract ako
"Anong pig literally? For your in--" di ko na natapos ang sasabihin ko ng mahulog ako sa swimming pool.
"And we have a winner!! Chloe Garfield everybody!" I heard Lyroi said
Nang makaahon ay agad din naman akong nilapitan ni Alex. "I hate you." Sabi ko dito sabay pout
Tinawanan naman niya ako sabay ipit ng basa kong buhok sa hilid ng aking tenga. "I didnt know you'll get distracted by that. Sorry naman."
"Tss."
He pinched my nose. "I'll get you a towel little miss grumpy. Stay here."
Paalis na sana si Alex when I grabbed his arm. Tumayo ako habang nakahawak padin sa braso niya. I can feel myself sobering up again.
"I'll go with you."
Alex smiled and held my hands.

Alex and I were sitting sa lapag na tabi ng kama niya. Were both soaking wet kaya sa lapag lang kami umupo. He's removing my makeup, at medyo natatagalan siya sa pagtanggal ng mascara na kumalat sa paligid ng aking mata.
"I dont get why girls put on make up when it can turn you into a panda in a matter of seconds once na nabasa ka." Natatawang sabi ni Alex habang patuloy pading tinatanggal ang make up ko.
"Hindi naman lahat love. Nagkataon lang na di water proof yung mascara ni Natalie kaya nag smudge."
Alex stopped for a moment. "May water proof version?" He asked me, looking so shocked.
I snorted. "Girl, you have alot to learn about make up."
He rubbed his pinky fingers sa mga namuong mascara sa gilid ng aking mata at saka ito ipinahid sa aking ilong.
Nanlaki naman agad ang aking mga mata sa ginawa ni Alex.
"A-anong ginawa mo?!" I cried
I am pretty sure that I felt so annoyed when he smuged mascara on my nose pero nung narinig ko ang malakas na pagtawa ni Alex tila ba nawala lahat ng inis sa aking katawan. Halos mapahiga na siya sa sahig sa kakatawa. And oh gosh, he looks really handsome while laughing.
"You need to see yourself right now love. You look like a panda." Alex managed to say while laughing
Nagtounge out naman ako. "It's okay. Panda's are cute." Ha! Akala niya maasar niya ako ah.
Alex snorted and let out another hearty chuckle. "A stressed Panda."
Okay. That's it! How dare this boy.
I rubbed some of the smudged mascara on my face saka ko tiningnan ng masama si Alex. Agad din naman niyang nagets ang balak kong gawin kung kaya't mabilis siyang tumayo.
"Oh. Wh-what are you doing?" Tanong ni Alex habang patuloy sa paghakbang patalikod.
"What do you think?" I said in my very evil-ish voice.
I smirked nang macorner ko si Alex. He's leaning sa wall and he's trying his best to dodge my fingers na nilalapit sa kanyang mukha.
Nang malapit ko nang maidampi ang aking daliri sa pisngi niya, he pulled my arms on the side at dahil medyo may tama pa yung alak na nainom ko nawalan ako ng balanse but Alex immediately caught me.
My gaze landed on Alex's eyes which was about an inch away from mine. His wet hair brushed through my forehead leaving several mini droplets of waters on it.
"You're very beautiful, with smudged mascara or not." Alex said, looking directly into my eyes
I dont know kung ano ang naisip ko but I leaned in to claim Alex's lips. Tila naman nagulat si Alex sa ginawa ko ngunit hinalikan niya din ako pabalik. Our kiss deepened as our lips moved in sync with eachother passionately, I can feel the eagerness inside my body that even I can't explain. Every kiss, every touch from him felt like salvation. He pulled me up and wrapped my legs around him. The last thing that made sense to me was him, carrying me back to his bed our lips never drawing apart.
