i have never really been fond of the dark
the sun does not rise at hours like these, three a.m daydreams, night terrors, cold sweats
a sadness of sorts.
i do not sleep. i can't. not when everything is void, not when the dark is thick and heavy and consumes me whole.
i sleep, i love with filtered rays of sunlight. i sleep only when and where boxes carry gentle pieces of the sun.
