I wake up with the delicious tang. I slowly open my eyes to find hot tasty pancakes in front of me.
"I made them for you." Brook appears.
"They look delicious." I say stretching as I sit. "They dont only look delicious but also taste." He says as he cuts it with a fork and brings it near my mouth so that I can eat it. It melts in my mouth giving me the best pleasure in the whole world.
"Thank you so much." I say enjoying the food. Suddenly he pulls me into a hug and starts rubbing my back.
"If something would have happened to you, I would never forgive myself." He whispers in my ears suddenly I feel something wet on my neck.
"Brook you are crying?" I ask more like state. I pull him away and wipe his tears with my sleeves. "I love you Brook." I say. "I love you too Blake." He says, forcing a smile on his face.
"What's the time?" I ask rubbing my eyes. "Its six in the evening," he answers."What? I have been sleeping for so long?" I ask.
"Don't worry Blake," he smiles.
"Where is Mom?" I inquire. "I did not tell anything to Mom but I have to, she is in her room." He says rubbing the back of his neck.
"Please don't say anything to her, she would get worried." I request.
"Btw, I want to know about Jesicca." I say. He moves his hand through his hair and takes a seat beside me.
I could see, how disturb he is.
"That day was our first day in New York, we all were celebrating our victory over the first tournament. We all were in a club that night. I still remember that night, music was loud all were drunk so do I. I remember I was sitting on a side couch with some of my friends in the club." He recalls.
"Jessica was also there with her friends. She came there to celebrate her birthday party. They were being good to us, and being boys we were also attracted to them. We all after drinking decided to play spin the bottle, I know how stupid this game sounds, when you are drunk." Brook recites. Tears start to roll down his cheeks. I placed my hand over his thigh to calm him down.
"Uhem! Jessica was sitting in front of me and the bottle landed on us. As per the rules of the game we had to kiss. Bieng drunk we started kissing each other with lust and passion. I still remember how every one were hooting for us. I being drunk could not conrol myself and so did she. We finally broke the kiss, I could see passion and lust in her eyes but I just shrugged it of. After the game we were going to leave and were saying goodbye's too each other when Jessica pulled me in a corner. 'What?' I asked her. 'You are damn to sexy.' She said in a flirty tone."
"I took a moment to digest what she said. 'I know right.' I started laughing.
'Brooklyn I am falling for you.' She said. I thought she is playing a prank on me. How could she fall for me? We just met few hours ago."
"I wanted to leave. 'We will talk about it tomorrow.' I laughed planting a kiss on her cheeks. I really did not know what I was doing at that moment, I was literally not in my senses. 'Will see ya at your hotel' she smirked."
"After I left the party, I along with my friends directly went to our hotel. We all were dog tired. Next morning, my head was swinging because of the last night drinks, I really hate hangovers. So after taking tylenol I was going to take bath when suddenly the doorbell rang. I opened the door still in my boxers and a towel around my shoulders, when I saw Jessica standing there."
"I was shocked to see her. 'Jessica?' I asked, confused looking at the time. It was tweleve in the afternoon.
'Ohh love don't act like you don't know that you only called me here' she said coming closer to me and started kissing me. I was hell confused what the crap was she doing? Why is she kissing me? I did not kiss her back and slightly pushed her back.
'Brook?' She asked as her eyes widened. 'What the hell are you doing here?' I asked her.
'Brook you only called me and you said you love me.' She said throwing herself ont me. 'Wait! Jessica sit first,' I said giving her a seat and later added, 'Jessica forget everything that happened last night, I was really drunk and our kiss was just a game, I don't love you and I think you should leave.' 'Brook you can't do this to me, I know you love me too.' She said tracing my abs."
"I really didn't know that she would take all this so seriously. 'Jessica leave now,' I said in a firm tone. 'No I will not. We have work to do." She smirked. 'leave for gods sake.' I shouted. Tears started coming out of her eyes. She sobbed ,'You can't do this to me Brook.' 'What did I do?' I shouted back,'Leave Now.'
'I will get back to you Brook.' she shouted and left sobbing. I really did not know why was she doing all this.
After she left I went to have bath and later on we went for the match. We were coming back from the match when I got a call from unknown number. I answered the call and got to know that Jessica committed suicide later that afternoon around two after she left my hotel.
I was taken back by the news. She comitted suicide because of me. She was mad? I guess. She had some psychological problem. Soon after finishing the tournament I rushed back to Boston and tried my level best to forget everything that happened in New York." Brook finishes wiping his tears. I was numb with shock.
"Brook..Jessica..is dead?" I slutter. I could hardly speak. He nods. Tears start rolling down my cheek.
"I don't know what to do." Brook said with panic.
"It was not your fault, its better we forget about this incident and never talk about jessica again." I push words out of my mouth and he nodded.
"I think I should go now, relax." Brook said and left the room.
