*****Jake's POV*****
Parker ran out. "What happened?!" Sam barked. no one spoke. "WHAT HAPPENED?!!" he yelled.
"Umm.. we were looking at her scratch book.... and she sorta flipped." Paul rubbed the back of his neck.
"Then she attacked me!" Jared snapped.
"Yeah cause you insulted her." Paul got up in his face. You could clearly tell the Paul cared a lot about Parker.
"Jarod what did you say?" I asked Jared .
"What does it mater?" He snapped.
"It just does!"
"I told her that her dad died from smoking to much. It was just a joke. I didn't think that she would react that much."
"Yeah you didn't think." Sam mumbled.
"You are such an idiot Jared." Paul said. He looked pissed. "Where do you think that Parker went?"
"I know."
"Can you tell me so I can go talk to her?"
"I think that I should. I know more about this."
"What? who do you think you are?!" Paul snapped.
"Enough! Jake go find Parker. Paul you need to calm down. we have bigger problems." Sam told us. I ran out the door and down to the cliffs. Parker always came here.
I saw her sitting on the edge looking down. "Hey Parker." She looked at me as I sat down.
"What are you doing here?" she wiped the tears from her face.
"I came to see how your doing? So, how are you?" she just shrugged. "I know what Jared said. He had no right." She turned her head. Tears poured down her face.
"No he didn't. He thinks that just because I smoke that it means I got it from my father. He never even thought of smoking." Pausing, she looked at me.
"When Jared said that, it made me re-think everything I have done in my life. I feel like I have ashamed my father." I put my arm around her.
"Your dad would be proud of you." I reassured her. "Now we have to get back. Paul is really worried about you and we have got problems that we need to deal with." I helped Parker up and we shifted and ran back to Sam's house.
*****Parker's POV*****
I was still feeling really angry at Jared but even more so at my self. I could have saved my dad. I could have threw the lighter at them and killed the blood sucker. But I didn't. I knew my mother blamed me for his death. If I had just killed the vampire sooner then my dad wouldn't be dead and my mom would not be denying that I'm a wolf. If my dad didn't die then I wouldn't be smoking a pack of cigarettes a day. When my father died my mom started to smoke and I got drunk a lot and smoked more that her. If I had just killed the stupid fucking vampire I would still have a family.
I was pulled out of my thoughts when I saw the house. I went behind a tree and shifted. I pulled on my shorts and bikini top. "You okay?" Jake asked as we were at the door.
"Yeah." I nodded. I opened the door and was pulled into a hug by Paul. I hugged back. He let go of me and looked at my face. "What was that for?"
"I was worried about you. Are you okay?" he asked me worried.
I smiled and laughed. "Yeah I'm fine."
"Good." He pressed his lips to my head. I was much shorter than him. My head only coming up to his chest.
"We need to find the vampire." Sam said. Paul sat down at the table and I stood behind him. Jared was at the counter not wanting to get to close to me. Jake sat down next to Paul and Sam was at the head standing.
"When I was out I smelt an other blood sucker." I told him.
"Have you smelt it before?" Sam asked.
"Yeah but it was like last year or so. Remember I was saying that there were three blood suckers that came here?" that all nodded. "Well this was one of them. But is wasn't the red head. I think that that have something planed other than just killing random people. The red head seems to be getting closer and closer to Forks. And I have no idea what the other one is doing."
"Hmmm. Well for now we should go on and other patrol. Parker you and Paul go closer to forks. Jared and Embry go down the the cliffs. Jake you come with me and we will look around the Cullen land. Their gone so there's no boundaries." Sam ordered. We all headed outside and shifted. Me and Paul went into the woods of Forks.
"He Paul. I picked up his sent." I told Paul. We ran through the woods. The trees looked like a green wall we were going so fast. The sent trail led us to Charlie's house.
"Hey I smell the red head to." Paul told me.
"Sam. We smell both vampires by Charlie's place."
"Okay. From now on, I want you Parker to be by there when we go on patrol." Sam ordered through the mind link.
"Got it." I said. We did a perimeter around the house. I could hear the TV on. Charlie wad probably watching the football game. I meant back up with Paul. "do you hear that?" i asked him. I could hear sobs and mummers coming from the upstairs.
"yeah. What is that?" the sobs soon turned into screams.
"That was Bella." i stated.
"You think that she is in trouble?"
"Parker, Paul! Whats happening?" Sam snapped.
"Bella just screamed." Paul replied.
"What is happening?!" Sam demanded.
"Wait." i could hear foot steps and them Charlie waking Bella up from a bad dream. "She was just dreaming. "
"Okay." Sam said. "stay there until morning and then Jake and Embry will take over." Sam told us. For the rest of the night Paul and I kept watch over the house. As the sun came up Jake and Embry showed up and took over. Me and Paul headed bake to Sam's house. I shifted behind a tree and put on my shorts and a muscle shirt. I met up with Paul ad we walked into the house. Emily was making food.
"Smells good Emily." Paul exclaimed.
"Have you been out all night?" Emily asked.
"Yup. we had to keep watch over Charlie's house." i said and i slid into a stool seat at the counter. Paul stood next to me and rapped an arm around my shoulders.
"Embry and Jake took our place so we could eat and maybe get a few hours rest before school." Paul said.
"ugh. Do we have to go to school?" i wined. "I haven't slept in three days." i put my head down on the counter. "I don't get why we need an educating when i know i'm not going to do anything with my life."
"Stop whining. your going." Emily put a plate of pancakes in front of me. "Now eat up." she gave Paul a plate and he sat next to me. We sat in silence and ate. I finished first and told Paul i would meet him back here. I ran outside and walked home. i had to slip into my house to take a shower and get dressed but my mom stopped me from doing so. She was out on the deck, waiting for me.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!!!!" She yelled at me.
"mom you know where i was. you just don't except it." i pushed past her. My mom is shorter than me, only 5 feet. My 5'5" frame stood taller than her and she had to look up at me. A scowl was place on her heart shaped face.
"You know darn well I didn't know where you went!" Mom shouted at me. "I bet you are in some gang. I bet-" I cut her off.
"Ever since dad died you haven't believed me when I say i shifted. I did 3 years ago." i yell in her face. I turn and walk up to my room.
"You are grounded!!! You will never step foot out of your room! I locked your window too so don't think you will get out that way!" She followed me. Once in my room she slammed my door and locked it.
"fuck you!!!!" I screamed. I went to my bathroom and took a quick shower. I pulled on some shorts and a muscle shirt. I pulled on my old chucks and grabbed my keys. I punched the window, braking it. I jumped out and went to my motorcycle.
My mother stood in the door way yelling at me to come back and swearing at me. I just drove straight to Sam's house.
